G-Sensor not working - Verizon HTC One (M8)

I updated to the new firmware (4.4.4) this weekend. Everything is working great, except the g-sensor seems to be a bit wonky... Often, the screen does not auto-rotate. Also, I use Screeble Pro app to keep the screen on when not laying flat and it consistently thinks the phone is laying flat when it is not (did that make sense?). I've tried the basic calibrate function in the settings, but that did not help. Also, flashed the new firmware with both the RUU. and SD card methods... Even went back to 4.4.3 firmware with no change... Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

OK, update... The sensor info to Screebl seems to be working, but the auto rotate (can't even force it to landscape) stopped working at all.

Did you flash the firmware via ADB? Did you flash it 2x??
I had an issue with my IR blaster after I updated to 4.4.4. Could have been caused by my not flashing the firmware twice, or because of non-matching firmware/rom.

Flashed it twice... via fastboot RUU method (as well as with the SD card method) I am currently running a 4.4.3 based ROM (ViperOne 2.5). Am hoping that when that ROM gets updated to the 4.4.4 version and I do a clean install maybe the problem will go away...

Wifi and bluetooth not turning on

Hey guys,
My HTC One 4.4.2 Kitkat Wifi, Bluetooth and FM radio no longer work and will not turn on and stay in "turning on" mode.
I woke up one morning without any changes and my phone just could no longer use Wifi. I did a complete wipe of everything OS etc and flashed a new rom Android Revolution HD and wifi still will not turn on. I cleared the catche etc when doing this and flashed the boot.img
Since my phone is rooted it's warranty will most likely be void so fingers crossed it's something i can fix. Just seems weird how it stopped working out of the blue like this.
I have searched but most people with this problem seem to have it once flashing a new rom.

You should flash your phone back to full stock e.g. by running a RUU. Whats your HTC One model (m7/m8 free/carrier branded) ???
Thanks

Seems as there is no matching RUU. But i have found a stock rom backup. Its flashable via CWM. --> LINK
Yea
Been struggling trying to find a stock RUU also. Will that RUU work using TWRP as i thought to flash a RUU you only had to enter into fastboot mode,

Do you need the backup for twrp? I think its easiest to flash CWM and use the file from my link. I haven't found a twrp backup.

Nope, can do that without much trouble though as i have found a tutorial on how to do so.
I have cwm installed instead of twrp now. Didn't realize how easy it was to flick back and forth between the 2 lol.

Oneplus One Proximity sensor problem after reverting to CM11 (WITH CORRECT MODEM)

Hello,
I am facing a weird problem regarding the proximity sensor on all CM11 roms.
I was using lollipop roms for a long time now, and have been following latest builds, until I decided that I liked KitKat more. I already had a backup of temasek's last CM11 build, so I reverted to that one, after flasing the cm11 firmware. All was working perfect until I reverted a backup of my 5.1.1 rom, to try xposed. Again, before doing so, I flashed the latest cm12 firmware. After a couple of days experimenting with xposed, I eventually went back to my kitkat rom. After boot, I noticed that the proximity sensor wasn't working. I had already flashed the cm11 firmware before restoring, but I went and flashed it again. Problem was still there. I then tried cm11s 44s firmware, 05Q firmware and 05Q modem only. The proximity sensor problem was there in all cases. (Shows 0.0cm, like I always have my phone in my ear or pocket). I then tried flashing a complete cm11s rom (05Q) with no success.
This is not a hardware problem, as the sensor is working FINE on ALL lollipop roms. I used sensor box in all my tests. I even tried proximity fix from play store, but it did nothing. I also tried to install it as secondary on multirom, then flash the firmware, but again, no success.
I really really need some help on this one, I can't troubleshoot it on my own, I am out of ideas.
Thanks in advance.
(My device is OnePlus one - always using boeffla kernel on both lollipop and kitkat roms.)
EDIT: Solved. Look at my last post.
Flash again only modem but matching http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/ref-oneplus-one-modem-collection-t2858734 I had the same problem, flashing again modem solved this issue for me.

Hello,
Which modem did you flash from that thread? I have only tried the 44s from there but it was a no go.
Thanks in advance.
XNPH44S for me it worked
Hello,
Finally found a fix for my problem.
It seems that I had to flash from fastboot the CM11 nightly modem from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57125376&postcount=389
The process doesn't wipe anything in case anyone is wondering, it just flashes the modem ( NON-HLOS.bin)

Firmware and RADIO

Hey Guys,
A few weeks ago I flashed the phone with a "patch" that OPO sent me in order to debug some touchscreen issues.
That downgraded the phone to KK. After that I reflashed the firmware (05/15v) and a LP ROM.
My phone is behaving weird, so I wonder if I should flash another firmware and RADIO as well.
Any idea?
Thanks!
Could you further elaborate besides 'my phone is behaing weird'.
We can't really help if we don't know exactly what's going on.

Proximity sensor on YOG4PAS3JL not working

I'm currently on the latest Cyanogen build "12.1-YOG4PAS3JL" and I noticed the proximity sensor isn't working. I've heard that flashing a modem can solve this issue, but I'm not sure what modem I should flash and where I can find the right one?
I am using the 05/15 firmware. Everything here works fine.
How did upgrade?
With custom recovery? Which?
Go to settings and check baseband
Must have DI. 3..0.c6-00241-Mxxxxxxx
Have c7 on mine.

Quick Solution, works for both kitkat and lollipop android versions, I've tried myself and it was the only solution I found.
1 - Flash this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001607675 (44S Modem)
2 - Flash this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bdnirlhnrj60ojs/Android-5.0.2-CM11S-OldSensorPatch.zip?dl=0 (Proximity sensor patch)

Sadly I had tons of problems with that modem.
I am beginning to hate and loathe this piece of junk phone.
EDIT:
I flashed the 05-15 modem (v241) and it seems signal is better AND the proximity sensor works.
I'm not sure why everyone still insists on that old KitKat modem.

Bluetooth doesn't work

Bluetooth can't find any devices, and can't be found from the other devices.
I have flashed MMB29S via flashtool - doesn't work.
I've updated OTA to MMB29Q (the last one) - nothing changed.
What I can do with it?
I am sure that other devices' bluetooth is alright, i've tested it. The problem is in Nexus 5.
Nexus 5, 32GB, 6.0.1 [MMB29Q]
Try flashing a stock MM ROM with a factory reset.

already flashed. i'm always flashing ROMs with factory reset, to avoid problems like this.
baseband is newest, btw.
Does wifi work? I have a Nexus 5 with dead wifi and bluetooth and I could never solve the issue via flashing. Only thing that fixed the problem was a replacement motherboard.

of course, phone is fully functional, doesn't had any problem with wi-fi, always stable signal and fast speed. LTE is stable too.
update: because i am running out of solutions - i'll try to flash last factory image via linux debian.
update2: flashed newest factory image via debian, latest adb and fastboot tools. the problem is still there.
If everything else functions properly, I'd conclude that there is a hardware problem.

it's so bad? there is no sowtware solution, and the official service center is the only way out?
The fact that you have flashed other ROMs and everything works with these other ROMs except Bluetooth spells hardware issue to me.
