First ever Note 5 Rap Review!!!! - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

My brother made a Note 5 Rap Review. The S7 and S7 edge are stunning devices, although 6 months in the Note 5 is still a beast. Enjoy! It is informative as well as entertaining. Trust. https://youtu.be/p6QcJkK8d88

Would be nice if it was shorter for a commercial he hit all the selling points of the phone ??

Watched it, two super thumbs up. Also appreciated the way he displayed the some of the note5's nicest features as well. All around super nice.

Funny, Android Police had the same exact article on the same day. He even took the pictures from the article lmao:

BLOWN AWAY with the ONE X

The first phone that I fell in love with was a Bold 9000. For messaging and durability, it was untouchable. I took it swimming multiple times, dropped it off a 3 story building, and it still worked like new.
I dicked around with a 3GS for a while and it sucked. Laggy and severely dumbed-down interface and UI.
Just picked up an ATT HTC One and I'm simply blown away after an hour of use. I can't wait to fully customize Android and this phone to my liking. The simple ability of mounting the phone as a disk drive is PRICELESS.
Simply put, it is a power user's dream phone.
**** Apple.

I completely agree with the poster for the thread the phone is by far one of the best I've used in while and I've been around the block a few times with Android Phones.
HTC One X takes the cake as it is.

Wow, took the time to read the post, find a picture and then post saying we need to cut away the BS? Who pissed in your cornflakes? Go the Dev forum and make your substantial contributions there.
I honestly am blown away as well and I come to this site to see what people like/don't like about the phone so I can learn more. This phone is damn near perfect coming from a Captivate which sucked in every aspect. It's nice to see other folks feeling the same way instead of the constant gripping over, what I consider, little things.

Alright, thread cleaned of all the stupid and trollish posts.
I did lol at the "you're fat" comment though.
Please be respectful to your fellow XDA members. You can agree to disagree, without being rude or disrespectful.

I love these post when I look for a new phone. I hate how people don't like good comments on phones. This is a general section. I will agree this phone is my first not to have to root but will eventually. If you have a problem with reading good comments don't read them.

Tech and my bank account don't get along. This phone is great. I will have a party when the bootloader is unlocked. Even stock, this thing works well and that's saying a lot.
I remember when I first opened google nav...inside.. to just type in the addy like I did with my inspire so I wouldn't have to mess with it in my truck. Address in, hit go, put it in my pocket. Maybe 5 steps in to the hallway it starts talking to me with a gps lock. It was an exciting moment lol
Thank you for sharing your views on 3GS. I was thinking to have it with me but then you recently make me feel it can be broken easily with just one drop. I will add some more money and then I will buy HTC One X.

People seriously think that the only two phones that exist are the S3 and Iphone 5

Reading Facebook posting the past two days, I keep coming across "iPhone 5 or Galaxy s3"...living in a prominently Korean community, most people are telling each other to get the Galaxy s3 lol...but the other thing I find funny is people are asking which one to get...and people dont even know anything about either phone. I must say that Samsung has done a magnificent job at marketing.
Side note: speaking of their marketing...every time their commercial comes on for S-Beam when Im at a movie theater...people go..."Ahhhhhh!" in amazement. And I've had my parents turn to me and go "your phone can do that?!"...and I have had friends with HTC phones that dont even know that their phones can do the exact same thing. Its amusing
I thought there were only 3. You forgot the Note 2

that's always the case, i've found that most people on my facebook completely disregard the budget androids and only get the flagship phones. this time last year it was the iphone 4S, note and nexus. now it's the S3, iphone5 and note 2
Please continue this discussion in the thread for other devices in the stickies.

nice thread
I always liked XDA's Nexus 7 "Unboxing." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNWRto0Vf0M
Hello!
I loved all articles in 2012 and I was reading them while having fun, so it was very good. For videos, I particularly liked the XDA Unboxings, and the unboxing of the SGS3 was hilarious when Jordan "fainted" when he saw his device was taken apart.
So yeah, a great year at XDA, wish you another like this!!!!!!
I'm a big fan of Azrienoch's This Is Why We Root video. It really sheds some light on the possibilities after rooting your device, as well as providing information as to why someone would want to. I'm an advocate of being able to have total control over a phone that you've paid good money for, and now I have a resource to direct my friends to whenever I hear the question "What's so good about rooting your phone?".
The story of the HD2 getting a WP8 port
cracking the gsIII bootloader on verizon
I like XDA unboxing videos.
My favorite is Verizon's Samsung Galaxy S3 unboxing
azrienoch's video on Why XDA-Developers.com Roots Android(http://www.xda-developers.com/android/this-is-why-xda-developers-com-roots-android-xda-developer-tv/)
is my favorite
After lurking for a number of months this is the first subject that has compelled my procrastinating fingers to register.
Best video all categories - Azrienoch "This Is Why XDA-Developers.com Roots Android"
The others are difficult to choose from as they're all great and I feel it is almost a betrayal to say that I've preferred one more than another thus I'm just going to give a special mention for TK who has improved exponentially with every video made.
Big thanks to all for your efforts.
Good

I love android because of its limitless options of customizing, whether you root, or do not want to root.
Looks pretty nice
A general computing platform
Why do I love Android?
I can buy a phone that is more powerful than any computer built more than 10 years ago, run it stock, and have a perfectly capable machine that will handle 100% of the duties for 99% of the population. I can take that same phone, disable some security settings, and run any app available in the wild west of the internet (IOS needs to jailbreak to install anything not approved by Apple). A simple root and custom rom, and I can modify the feel, performance, and capabilities any way I see fit. Throttle that massive dual core processor to 300MHz and get 2 weeks of battery, OC to 2100 and catch it on fire, whatever. I can access an accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, photodetector, proximity sensor, and GPS network on almost any Android device.
Android is a suite of tools that I can use to solve problems and create. Most phones are devices that are opaque to the user.
When I have my phone, I have a mythical device straight out of a fantasy novel. I can know my position anywhere on earth, to within meters. I can contact almost anyone on the planet. Instantaneous access to entertainment, news, financial information, databases, and people. If there is a mountain in the distance, I can measure how tall it is, look up how tall it is, or ask someone else how tall it is. Two days ago I used my phone to level a chemical reactor worth upwards of $10,000 and improved the efficiency by 15%, just because I could.
That is why I love Android.

I love android because a couple months ago my galaxy s2 started to fry up because of the bloat and was slower than a snail carrying a rock. Then, I turned to xda for help and voila! My phone turned into a beast! Now I'm using this phone on android 4.2.2 and love it! The credit definitely goes to the awesome developers for their roms and ANDROID for it's customizability options! You don't see stuff like this on iOS!

Okay so we have twelve and a half hours left of the contest, I'm going to bed tonight so if I have not thanked your entry tonight I will get it in the morning. And with so many good entries its hard to just pick one, and my wife suggested that I take all the entries and write the names of the posters down and draw it from a hat/box. So that is how the winner will be chosen. Truly random. Goodnight and good luck everyone!!!!
