Mais je ne pense pas qu'une MàJ puisse faire sauter le S-OFF, en tout cas je l'ai toujours.

An ota update can't make your S-OFF phone magically return to S-ON. But the update itself might patch the vulnerability used to first achieve S-OFF and make it harder for S-ON users to achieve S-OFF after the update (this was the case with the One M7 for example, at each bootloader update, you would need a new s-off method). IMO, its better to achieve S-OFF as soon as its possible and not waiting the bootloader to be updated many times. Ppl at HTC does not want you to turn your phone security off and will try to block it with bootloader updates.

Une mise à jour ne peux pas remettre ton smartphone S-OFF à S-ON par elle même mais elle peut effectivement corriger la faille exploitée pour obtenir S-OFF initialement et donc rendre la tâche plus difficile pour ceux qui n'ont pas déjà S-OFF. C'était le cas avec le One M7, un combat éternel... à chaque mise-à-jour du bootloader (ou presque), il fallait une nouvelle méthode pour ceux qui n'avaient pas encore S-OFF (Revone, Moonshine, Rumrunner, Firewater et finalement Sunshine pour les bootloaders les plus récents). Donc à mon avis, il est préférable de mettre ton smartphone S-OFF dès que possible et ne pas attendre qu'il y ait eu 10 mise-à-jour du bootloader... C'est un fait connu, HTC essai de bloquer les failles qui permettent de passer à S-OFF.

i dont know the path anymore but if you initiate logcate and then start the download it will tell u something like
"htc.updater" and somewhere it will tell you the path

I have SPV M600 French ROM and upgraded to Dopod 2.15.13.27.
But now I have some hardware problem and in order to use my original warranty I want to return back the original ROM version (the french one) in order to present the device to ORANGE SAV.
Can anybody help giving some hints how to do that :?: :shock:

Have you noticed that there is a new Firmware available on the www.orange.fr page.

Well then indeed it's too bad no custom ROM supports this, and I second your request for inclusion of the patch. EAP-SIM is such a great feature when you're on a limited data plan.

Do you think french are the only one using EAP-SIM in the World ? that maybe the reason none roms have it , i been traveling and to be honest i never had a provider proposing this service , each provider have to configure his home EAS-SIM i think witch could be complicated to had in each roms ?? not sure im' a newbis on Android . bonne Coupe du Monde !!
This feature can be easily added to source, it's just a patch.
Lot of custom roms are based on cyanogenmod source. So, we must complain to Cyanogenmod team
I've tried to use binary wpa_supplicant from stock rom, but it doesn't work.
if the developers were french, it would be faster, perhaps.

used to root my smartphone, I unlocked my bootloader, then I installed TWRP, and I do not know why, out of habit, I flashed supersu.zip ...
Of course it is not compatible, and I do not have backup ...
now i can not have root ...
I need to reinstall a rom without supersu, to flash Magisk with fastboot.
really stupid that I am, so I come to ask for help to you ...
(I have a huawei p20 Eml-l09 from France)
Someone would have a backup of the orginal rom for me or a solution?

forget what I said ... it's just the apk magisk that is not ok, https://github.com/topjohnwu/MagiskManager/releases
with 5.6.4 its ok

si oui, tu as juste a aller dans les parametres systemes, puis réinitialisation, et restaurer les valeurs d'usines
tu repartira ainsi avec un P20 tout neuf et tu aura juste a recommencer l'etape du root
sauvegardes bien tes données avant de faire cela

apres tu n'as pas besoin de twrp pour rooter ton P20 donc c'est pas une obligation de le mettre car au final il ne sert quasi a rien

Get in touch with your local Huawei support by phone asking for the unlock code, it worked for me
