Im loooking for a ROM RADIO which activate GPS , cause the one in my ORANGE phone doesn't .
the guigou ROM is supposed to include a driver for the GPS but I think it works only for a naked pharos .

I have made a complete backup (Radio, OS and extended ROM) of my M600 (FR version) as at 24 august 2006 (41,489,443 bytes) and used awizard 1.2.

i did not have time to write the instructions, but if you use awizard and follow the instructions from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=252957
you should be able to get you M600 back to french rom as some requested.
rom version : 2.10.1.30
rom date : 2/9/06
radio version : 02.30.21
protocol version: 4.1.13.16
Extended ROM version: 2.15.7.127
As you may have seen, I forgot to include M600 original boot loader and but any other should work fine.

Have you tried to restore from this backup to the device?
Because when I tried to do the same I had the following problems:
The awizard couldn't find the backup files (.nba) even if you place them in the ROM folder as required. So I took the commands from awizard.cmd and wrote them on dos prompt
:arrow: to write the OS - pdocwrite.exe name_of_file-OS.nba 0 0x3900000
:arrow: to write the Radio - pdocwrite.exe name_of_file_file-Radio.nba -n 1 0x50000 0x280000
:arrow: write splash Logo Rom - pdocwrite.exe -n 1 name_of_file-HTCLogo.nba 0x2D0000
(pdocwrite.exe is in \lib directory)
I successfully managed to restore the OS from my backup, using the a/m command BUT it doesn't worked for the Radio and for the Logo.
for me, it doesn't work:
impossible to upgrade OS and Radio ,no message error
i have waiting 30 mins ,and nothing right..... :roll:
No body have an idea?!?
As I said in another thread talking about this backup, it won't work...
Even if it seems that the backup go weel and you obtain some files... it doesn't mean that your backup is good...
The point is that you can't manage to have a working backup with the french orange rom.
so there is no way to go back to an orange rom?
Salut les gars,pour la restore,il faut impérativement que la rom soit identique c'est à dire ipl et spl similaires que la rom que l'on veut installer .C'est le constat que j'ai pu trouver sur divers forums.
P.s : j'ai la flème d'écrire en anglais ce soir !

Hi does somebody tried to remove the HTC boot spash screen after downgrading with this french orange rom. After installing the update "RUU_Prophet_215738_2157127_023021_QTEK_FRE_Ship_NoVendorID.rar", splash screen was changed by htc splash screen... It is possible to put the default boot for Orange m600.

Hi, if anyone is still looking for this, here is an upgrade program that will put back the 3 (yep, the 3 of them) orange splash screens back in place, I guess for warranty purpose

je pense qu'il y a peut etre une legere difference entre le pharos orange et le pharos nu, et plus que pour la rom, je pense qu'il y a dans la rom radio de la version orange un accès different au circuit du gps. a voir, pour le moment faut que j'arrive a remettre la rom integrale du pharos orange dans le mien j'ai trop besoin du gps.
Quelqu'un pourrai t'il faire un packtage avec l'utilitaire et la rom orange d'origine ? j'ai les fichiers raw, mais je n'arrive pas a faire un ruu_signed.nbh pour re flashé mon pharos.

pour creer un fichier nb avec part02.raw utiliser la commande
ImgfsToNb.exe Part02.raw Windows.nb NewPart02.nb
windows.nb est le fichier nb original anglais ou francais
puis utiliser htcrt dans country id mettre HTC00001

Yours looked like a good solution but process does not work on mine. I have already done it with my trinity (faman) however.
I'm little bit desperate cause I tried again and again. Can you tell me how to do? Maybe I did it in a wrong way.

did you try it under sfr ? Now my pharos is running on the original htc rom but i can't have all of my sfr services. I've have some data connection error, dunno if it's coming from me or sfr.

Bon Boulot, je l'ai flashé et tout est ok, mais j'ai juste un petit bémol; c'est une WM 6.0, t'aurais pas une 6.1 par hasard ?
J'aimerai bien essayer d'en kooker une 6.1 avec la manilla de poldo que j'avais essayé, mais j'en ai eue assez de l'anglais.

pour le flash de la rom, utilise le jumpSPL et le HardSPL. et pour la version c'est du windows mobile 6
c'est une rom original, (avec drivers en plus par Guigou) donc le gps fonctionne, et le desimlockage n'est pas actif (tu peux le faire toi meme, ya des liens qui fonctionne sur xda, cherche un peu)
edit : je suis sous portable, je ne peux pas mettre le lien du JumpSPL et de HardSPL

Comment tu fais pour mettre la certification orange pour le GPS, j'essaye de la trouver mais sans résultat...

First of all, i did a hard spl. After that i install the rom from guigou. Then i install TTN7 (ttn7.915.9196.vga_black) with maps of france.(France V.815.2024).
