I know this may sound stupid, but just buy a powerbank.
A battery case is in many ways handier because you don't have to carry around a big bulky powerbank all the time.
But a battery case also makes the phone about 2 times thicker than without it and the battery in there is simply overpriced for the capacity.
I can only recommend you a Xiaomi Powerbank, cause they're cheap and well worth their money.
For myself and a friend, I bought two with a capacity of 16'000mah for about 25$. For this capacity, you pay about double the price or more in Switzerland. I can easily charge my phone through a week of work and then maybe have to recharge the powerbank.
I recommend this seller: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Xiaomi-Power-Bank-16000mAh-Dual-USB-Xiaomi-Portable-Charger-Battery-Dual-Output-Interface-Xiaomi-Phone/32328480713.html
But maybe, one day, there will be a battery case for the Z5 and you will make your call...

It seems that way. A battery case for my green Z5 would be a lot more convenient than carrying around my 20,000 mAh Anker powerbank. That thing weighs a tonne!!!

I do not think we will get any Battery Case for Sony Z5

[Q] Anyone Tried This? - Replacement Battery

Hey Guys
I'm having some quite bad battery life with my DHD and I was looking into getting a bigger capacity battery.
I found this:
http://www.htcrepairparts.com/standard-battery-for-htc-desire-hd1600mah-p-3411.html?language=en
It is 1600 mAh and on paper looks promising and before I just wanted to check has anyone ordered this and had successful results with this battery and the seller or is it just a fail?
Thanks
Patrick
Found one while browsing around for a replacement for my DHD too.
Can't post links yet, but if you go to a site called evertop ending in a .co.uk and search for 35H00141-02M, you will find one with 1550mAH rating.
There are a few of these replacement ones claiming higher capacity, but one has to be cautious about these things mate.
Would love to find a genuinely reliable replacement one, although I must admit, if you haven't tried it already, there is a thread around which has a tip to charge the DHD in a certain way - seems to have worked for me upto certain extent - have managed to go over 24h without the need to charge with moderate use.
Hi I am a new member here. I also read somewhere about a mugen battery. haven't been able to order yet. I recently bought an external 5000mAh battery (USB charging) I can charge my DHD approximately 4 times before recharging the external battery.
just wanted to share an alternative to extended batteries that need to replace your battery cover.
a 5000mAh? holy ****...
EXTERNAL
the ones, which you connect to your usb port and charge the phone's battery
i wouldn't buy another internal one than the original.
battery's can be really dangerous..no chance to buy one from china or so..just my 2 cents.

These are the same as ones you can get from ebay.

Take extra precaution to this company. They will send you counterfeit goods no matter what if they think you are incapable of fighting back (say, living too far away).
My friend has been scammed once, and he went through all the complain channel in UK online in vain. It seems that UK's Government has no intention to stop online scammers that are active in their own countries. That was really an awkward discovery.
So be very careful.
I still don't get why people consider battery life as extremely important for phones that have easy to remove batteries...
They arent too expensive, ($3 on ebay for a 1600 mah fake, $15 for a genuine 1230) and its not exactly that hard to keep a few on you.
External batteries are also another option, but they usually use more space than internal ones (and they also require a cable).

but external can hold ALOT more AND plug into various devices
I would definitely recommend an external powerpack. I have a New Trent 5500mah pack, and it indeed gives 2-3 recharges, in a form factor slightly smaller than the DHD.
The only battery which is not fake, is the Mugen, coming in at 1500mah. It's not a huge improvement, but many say it's the difference between running out of juice mid-evening, and making it through to the night and the power cord.
Search for Mugen in this forum, all the details are there.
Or look for NewTrent on Amazon for example. The price varies (and they have bigger models too).
Avoid ALL OTHER "high capacity" batteries

You are right, batteries aren't expensive nowaday.
I recommend using genuine where possible. Fake/replacement/counterfeit batteries return bogus charging level to the devices, and that would result in pre-mature shutdown which would damage mobile devices.

evertop co uk is a well-known scammer. You should have looked up uk's ripoff list (forgot the full name of this website, you could search) and you can find it listed top 10 or something.
UK is hoarded with scammers like that, because their government just don't give a dime of what their people do on the internet.

- Ive been a little worried about this as I have a cheap one from China which came in an accessory pack, which by the way sucked. everything has just fallen apart. but the battery, which I rely on heavily as a backup, seems to have a better life than the original odly enough, dunno what's up with that. afraid it may leak or output higher charges and fry my phone?

Best battery for extended life

As the title says I'm looking for a bigger battery for my phone.
I don't mind if it size is actually bigger just looking for recommendations please?

I am ordering one of these right now:
http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-3000-Ex...GQLK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1334418633&sr=8-5
I talked to someone that used it and said that it worked just fine. It's 3000mAh which is more than double the stock (1450 I believe). I would ask you to wait for me to review it but mine wont come for a week or so because I used cheap shipping. And yes, this battery is bigger, as you can see it comes with a replacement door.

The external charguer doesn't looks bad. Does it really has 9000mAh? Usually this kind of chinese stuff have the half of capacity that they claim.

The max capacity that you can fit under the original battery cover do not usually exceed 1800-2000 mAh in general, everything higher requires either a bigger cover or can be considered as total fake advertisement

Mbuynow 6400mAh battery - worth it?

Apologies if this has been asked millions of times before but are these expandable batteries worth the price and will it give me a big increase in battery life?
Specifically, I'm looking at the Mbuynow 6400mAh battery for my S4. The price seems fair but with all these third party batteries, are they what they say they are? Yeah the price is fairly cheap for what is named an "expandable battery". The size is somewhat proof that it could possibly be that size but then again it could be a 5000mAh.
There is this review that uses a 3900mAh version and quite slim but specifically I am wanting to know about their 6400 version.

But that battery is bigger than standard but smaller than the ZL 7500 etc so why isn't it possible? It is between both and as such the size kinda makes sense. That being said yes the price is very cheap hence our doubts, even if you find it is only 5000 that's still a lot more than the standard battery for very little money.
It will be interesting to see what is reported back

Just a question
I bought this Mbuynow 6400 mAh battery for my s4, I have cm12 optimized ROM. (5.1.1) . It seems the phone recognised as 2650mAh, and let me a day active usage only. In the Stweaks option I changed the charging power to 1900mAh... The charging time is about 4 hours.
Its still on 24 hours usage time.
Question: Is it the max lifetime of this battery? Or needs manual calibration?
If anyone can help me please...

The battery is possibly the most dangerous part of the phone, I'd rather spend like $10 more and actually get a trusted brand one, especially when someone proved that the MPJ and alot of the unbranded batteries don't hold the advertised capacity. Also because of numerous phones catching fire due to crappy third party batteries.
I'm possibly over reacting, but I would rather over react than be sorry later.

not just cause of shipping mate, i have used their MPJ 5000MAH battery for my s2 it was great but the cover was extremely bad quality it broke after a few drops, the heavy battery inside increases the impact on the cover thus it destroyed it and uh after 3 months of using it i noticed that the battery performance decreased despite of Calibrating it once every month so i had second thoughts on buyin from MPJ again and Purchased the ZL 8500. i hope the speakers are fine with it thats my main concern.

Have you tried it?

Battery case?

Do you foresee a battery case coming out for this phone? Or know of one in the making? Better yet one that exists? Thanks!
Yes, it will probably be 3-6 months before one comes out though, most likely. We barely even have any regular aftermarket cases except super cheapass generic thin TPU cases right now.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have a 12k mAh battery pack for my current non-mainstream phone. It's such a PITA to drag around.
Actually, the ZeroLemon 7500mah battery case for the OnePlus 3 is compatible with the OnePlus 6. I havr tried it and it works. Every port and button aligns along with the camera and even the fingerprint scanner. But the notification slider is hidden since it is on a different side now.

@sabbyj, thanks for the tip! I see the case you're talking about is this one. It's pretty bulky - not gonna lie! That's awesome to know. I'm sure one could cut a hole out for the slider too. I found a battery case that's more of a slimmer profile. It looks a little sketch but TBH, these type of cases were made for all the oneplus's and they can be found on aliexpress, Though I haven't found any reviews on it. Who knows how the quality will be. It's also not exactly my style as I prefer the battery cases that offer more protection like the one you mentioned.
Hopefully there will be more coming out soon!! Please post here if anyone finds one! Thank you:good:
I think this list might help for grabbing a OnePlus 6 battery case
roundup of battery cases and chargers
I just got my first Oneplus (6) , and as a fan of zerolemon products I will be waiting for their extended charger. I have had a Zero lemon battery for my last two phones including S4 and the Note 9 and loved both of them. I find a brick phone that doesn't die way more useful than a slim phone that dies out on you when you need it and worse yet you have to drag around power banks for it everywhere.
Last I asked Zerolemon on FB they said they were working on a Note 9 case, so hopefully they start working on a OP6 one now! The amount of demand and sale this phone has had there's no way they won't be supporting it.
Realistically, unless you're a very heavy user, there's not a NEED for a extended battery. It's not like you're scared to leave the house without a charger. I take my charger to work with me and rarely use it. These are 12hr shifts too. Granted, I'm not on my phone all shift. I do have to do a little work,. Lol
Sadly, it's very difficult to find battery cases for phones other than the ones from Apple and Samsung. I really want an OnePlus 6 or 6T (when the latter comes out), but I have to get a battery case as I keep traveling where hooking up to my phone for long time is a common thing (wait for the customer at his place, stuck in the Indian traffic jam in a public vehicle). I have been using a 7500 mAh powerbank, but that feels inconvenient. I know using a battery case means I have deal with its bulk, but that is acceptable (it will also protect my phone anyway in case I drop it).

I agree. You can try this case: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5000mAh-Ba...er-Back-Cover-Case-for-Oneplus-6/253714440150
I just haven't found the courage to order it and give a review, yet.

If you want to send me the money to pay for it and ship it there, I will do it. Just saying....
Also, you can probably order it from aliexpress, or no?

I appreciate that. But the shipping cost would be too much, not worth it. I even have friends in US who could help, but that can work only if one of them makes a visit to India this winter. Ali is not an option in India, I guess. I may have to end up buying Note 9 which is a far more capable device for sure, but I'm not sure whether I want to spend that much specially when my travel would be hectic (high probability of phone damage). Oh well, a battery case would be there, but...
found one on ebay tho, looks good

I got in touch with the guys at Zerolemon sadly they have no plans on releasing a battery case for the OnePlus 6
