Yes, it works, if it doesn't, just flash the uninstall zip
I have tried gltools on cm 13 galaxy s5, but haven't been able to get it to work. The first time I recognized a problem was when it didn't soft reboot after installing. After a manual reboot, the app didn't work, but it said the decoder was installed and let me edit app profiles. I then uninstalled it via the app's uninstall button, then tried installing via twrp. Still the same result. It thought it was installed, but it was doing nothing. I used the TeX(de)coder, so I know that is not the problem.

I've followed all the steps posted in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com//crossdevice-dev/sony/4-4-4-stock-xperia-devices-ps4-remote-t2868092/post56340072
My issue is the "Root" error you get when booting up the Remote Play app. Other than that everything works perfectly. I've tried uninstalling SuperSU, but I believe CM11 has a built in SuperUser setting. Has anyone running CM11 got this to work>
Thanks!
Ok so i deleted my supersu to transfer over to superuser. after i rebooted my phone after uninstalling supersu i was no longer able to connect to the google play store. I've tried just about everything and i need help.

Excellent glad everything worked out for you
hello everyone, i have a nexus five running cyanogenmod 12.1 and 20150529-nightly-hammerhead android version 5.1.1 with TWrp v2.8.6.1
as of yesterday i had it finding the updates for nightlies everyday. and i was updating it when i would download them. and i found that everytime i would update id lose the root. i tested this the following day. rerooting with the nexus root toolkit, then updating and found i had no root. so i rerooted and havent updated again. is there a reason why it would unroot? thanks in advanced guys!!!
1) Delete the Nexus toolkit, don't ever use it again.
2) Flash the most recent nightly.
3) Go to settings ---> developer options and enable root access.
4) Optional: download SuperSU from the Play Store.
Why is nexus tool kit bad? So should I flash nightly first then enable root or enable then flash? Its giving me apps only, adb only and then allow for both. What do I choose?

For one thing, CM isn't meant to be rooted, root access is implemented via Privacy Guard, so whatever changes NRT made are erased every time you flash the ROM.
reroot...
Rerooting wasn't done with nexus tool kit. Initially yes, for the first time. I rerouted, or atleast thought I rerooted via twrp. I guess I was wrong. But either you helped me solve the issue and I really appreciate it.
I have a different one...the one that helped me figure I wasn't rooted. Google play store keeps crashing. Giving me that error "unfortunately, google play store has stopped" what could be causing this. I've rebooted, cleared cache, cleared data, force stopped and still. I've reinstalled the gapps..and still. Any ideas? Thank you such!!
Anyone????

Which Gapps package are you using? From what I gather, some Gapps packages don't play well with CM 12.1. Try this Gapps package, it's CM official.

Hello, I have used this rooting tutorial to root my Moto G 1st Edition 1033 phone (5.1 Lollipop OS):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/guide-root-xt1032-xt1033-moto-g-running-t2965507/
The rooting worked fine without problems, though the Google Play App (Market) is now crashing. Sometimes, even when I start it. I have tried clearing cache on the app and services then rebooting. Then I tried using Lucky Patcher to move the market app into System folder. It moved it but that did not help either. Then, I tried factory reset. That did not help either. Any chance you got a fix for this?
Regards and thanks.
P.S. I do not have any custom firmware installed I just rooted my phone that is all. I do not want to install any custom firmware.

Try reinstalling stock rom.
Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. I tried replying to the topic earlier but since I had low post count I had to wait and then I forgot all about the topic. Anyway, I am looking for a more simple solution to the problem. I do not want to flash since I am new to this. Thanks again.
@samandroidh - That rooting method is unnecessarily complicated and obviously has created this situation. The easiest way to root is to simply flash SuperSU.zip via custom Recovery.
Perhaps try this zip I have created before anything else. The zip will remove the pre-installed Play Store and install the latest version. Prior to flashing in custom Recovery, Un-install any Play Store updates - Settings > apps > (ALL) > Google Play Store:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24352994023707407
Latest TWRP custom Recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-2-0-touch-recovery-t2980621
Latest SuperSU: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
If my zip makes no difference, then maybe try rooting again with the above SuperSU.zip - no preparation needed - simply flash in TWRP.
I have a Oneplus 1 running CM11 44s Kitkat 4.4.4
I did a clean flash of CM11 and now I am unable to install any app from playstore. As soon as an app finishes installing, the phone hardboots and enters bootloop or I get continuous error messages Trebuchet stops working, Play Store stopped working
I have to goto Safe Mode and unistall app to recover phone.
Apps which I have tried to install and have been unsuccessful Greenify, Nova Launcher, Facebook, Gboard, Microsoft SMS Organiser
Basically, I am unable to install anything at all! All these were running fine before, now dont understand whats wrong!
I cleaned whole phone, formatted all with fastboot and reinstalled CM11, but the problem remains.
Please help!!

Yeah I could do that, but I would like to understand whats going wrong in present case, I have had flashed CM11 many times since past 4 yrs but never faced such an issue.
I even installed TWRP and SuperSU latest version and also Old versions, I tried installing old versions of apps, but phone keeps crashing! Wonder whats wrong?!
Is this a firmware issue?(Tried flashing firmwares too)
or Partitions gone bad?
I tried searching but couldnt find any resource on how to recreate partitions.
Can anyone help please?

Wait, what if you flash cm11? I mean you just wanna stay on KitKat,so why don't cm11?

Clean flash this cm11 nightly+gapps you like.
Make sure you use latest twrp.
Same issue here. Happens not to all apps though. Just particular ones after updating certain apps. Not sure what happened. Only solution is to avoid installing those kind of apps.
