Does the European variant support the LTE FDD band 28 ? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

With European carriers adopting the LTE FDD band 28, some countries like France, as early as April 2016, I was wondering if the Galaxy S7 sold in Europe supports this band, as apparently neither the Galaxy S6 Plus, nor the Galaxy note 5 do.

[Q] Shield Tablet Radio

I need some help from the developers on this forum. I live in Botswana and both carriers here are GSM 900, which is the most 'popular' European carriers frequency. Few days ago I ordered the LTE version Shield Tablet from USA. In the specifications that I found the North American version radio has support for other frequencies than European -
North America LTE: Bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 17 (1900, 1700, 850, 2600, 700)
HSPA+: Bands 1, 2, 4, 5 (2100, 1900, 1700, 850)
Outside-North America LTE: Bands 1*, 3, 7, 20 (2100/1800/2600/800)
HSPA+: Bands 1, 2, 5, 8 (2100/1900/850/900)
My question is if there is any chance for me to flash the European firmware to change the supported GSM carriers or this will be impossible?

Nope. No chance at all.

will T-mobile s7 be working on CDMA?

Here is the network support I found from t-mobile support website. The following data means at least T-mobile S7/S7 edge can be used in china and even Asia countries. But it didn't say that it will support CDMA. Anyone has any data to show that sprint version will support the following bands? I have talked with sprint, they said that as long as we pay it in full price. The phone can be unlocked. If it can be unlocked, and it can support the following bands, then sprint version can be universal. But when I was chatting with sprint representative, The rep said that he doesn't know the specification.

If I unlock Verizon pixel can I use it on another network

Only question I have is in the title.

All 4G LTE devices from Verizon are sim unlocked.
I used the Verizon model on my carrier and worked perfect. Hardware is identical. Only issue I'm having is with the SMSC, but, I think it's the pixel software cause both the unlocked and verizon model do it.

Locked bootloader and the Verizon model doesn't have all bands like the google store version.
Zboy2 said "The difference in bands between the google store version and the vzw version
Google store pixel lte bands: FDD LTE: B 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/20/25/26/28/29/30 TDD LTE 41
VZW pixel LTE BANDS 2,3,4,5,7, 13, 20,28 Missing BANDS 1,8, 12, 17, 25,26,29 and 30."
But yes it works on all U.S. Carriers
The Verizon model is not missing any bands. I've used it successfully on band 12 on both T-Mobile and att. Proven by *#info.
Same radio and no missing bands. Verizon just does not advertise them.

The Verizon version which is the US version G-2PW4100 has
GSM: Quad-band GSM
UMTS/WCDMA: Bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 (850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz)
CDMA2000: BC0, BC1, BC10 (800/1900 MHz)
FDD LTE: Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30
TDD LTE: Band 41
International version G-2PW4200 ie. UK and India have
GSM: Quad-band GSM
UMTS/WCDMA: Bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 19 (800/850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz)
CDMA2000: BC0 (800 MHz)
TDS-CDMA: Bands 34, 39
FDD LTE: Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 28, 32
TDD LTE: B 38, 39, 40, 41
And like I said before it works on all US carriers.
The hardware is suppose to be identical. ALL VZW 4g LTE phones are required to be sim unlocked by the feds. It's part of their licensing deal for the spectrum they use for 4g. If you buy an iPhone at Verizon it can be used on any other network. Not the case if you purchase the same from AT&T. There should be no reason a Verizon pixel won't work on t-mobile or anyone else in the US.
The only real difference is the bootloader is not able to be unlocked.... But depixel8 has fixed that issue.... For now.
I own both the VZW and GS models. I can use both interchangeably on Fi, TMO, and VZW. No issues.

So your carrier is ATT and your phone connects to Band 13? Might be software glitch which might be taken care of in the future firmware update or the info on websites isn't correct. There was a website that stated "Note 10 had UFS 2.0", but that was incorrect and phone indeed has UFS 3.0.

Question Network Bands

If i bought a snapdragon version of the S22 ultra from Hongkong or US, will its network bands work in middle eastern countries like Lebanon? how can i check on that?
Also I found this model of the phone SM-R908N and wonder if it could work on the network bands of Lebanon. Any thoughts on this issue I'd really appreciate it.
Oh, one more thing, will i encounter any firmware-related problems too? considering the different firmware models.
Easy to check....go to Alpha, see devices they sell, check specs
Alfa | Lebanon's first mobile network
Alfa is Lebanon’s first mobile network, managed by OTMT. Browse Personal, Business & Broadband offers as well as a wide range of devices & accessories.
www.alfa.com.lb
it uses
FDD LTE Bands: B1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 32
TDD LTE Band: B38
UMTS Bands: 1, 3, 8
LTE CA UL Bands: B7+B7, B38+B38
>>>bands 7 & 38 are main there
so now go to gsmarena
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G - Full phone specifications
www.gsmarena.com
see specs
4G bands1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 32, 38, 39, 40, 41, 66 - SM-S908B
So s22 ultra should work as it supports Band7 and Band 38 as Alpha provides, if no special locks at network, your s22 ultra shoulbe fine (max download speed are unknow)
