[Q][cleaned and tweaked v3] Not able to get into the security menu.

Hello guys here is the case.I have the following :-
unlocked bootloader
root access
extended stock kernel with the module v3 installed
cleaned and tweaked latest Rom.
The day before,I tried to lock my phone with Android device manager remotely .I was able to lock it and as i knew the password I typed it in and then i was able to go to the home screen.Now that the password was changed i tried to go into settings>>security but whenever i click on security I
get a force close (Unfortunetly settings have stoped). I am not able to change the password If you all can help me with this :good:

There's a problem with the ASOP lockscreen in the ROM. Go to the C n T thread and search for SettingsFix.zip and flash it. You will just lose the AOSP lockscreen and all else will be the same.

Flash this....n wipe cache n dalvik cache. it'll be working.

Hey thanx But i noticed that xperia Home is not working (unfortunetly xperia Home is Stoped) I get continuous Loops So here is what i want to Know i want to do a clean installation of this Rom Although I Have all the file :-
1)Install Extended Stock Kernel
2)Install Module V3
3)Install Cleaned and Tweaked Rom V3
4)Install Settings.Fix
So m i missing something here If yes Pelase reply And thanks :good:

I came to know where the problem lies its not he ROM its my SD card since i have modded my memory partitions so that i can play more games when i restart my phone it takes some time to grant super user permission to the modding application and hence there might be a conflict between the internal and the external memory that is the reason why i get this issue. when the internal memory is mounted it smooth.

select mtk setting>>hardware testing>>> Audio>>loundspeaker mode
change the values to 255 n 160
for moving google contact use X-plore file manager and for that u have to root the rom

I’m presenting my 1st ported ROM MIUI6_v5.7.9 for Xolo Q3000, with special thanks to:
1)Xolo for the awesome phone at affordable price,
2)MIUI for the wonderful rom,
3)Turkdevs.com & SmiLeToLiFe for the ported rom,
4)Dr. Avinash for MIUI6_Boot Logo and TWRP rev2 recovery,
5)Of course, me for Repartitioning Xolo Q3000. But, I need not to Thank myself as I know U will Like the rom & press the Thank Button,
I haven't take any permissions from you guys, I'm sorry for that, but your work is all credited to you, so, please forgive me.
Pre-requisites:
1)Custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM, PhilzTouch(TWRP 2.8.4 rev2 prefered, as I've tested rom using this recovery)
2)Before proceeding, Back up your Current Rom (Failsafe).
3)/System minimum 1gb partition (Repartition your phone, before you flash this ROM).
4)SP Flash Tools & Stock rom (In case, If you are in trouble).
Procedure:
1)Put the downloaded MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip in sd card.
2)Delete any files from previously installed rom from sd card & phone storage (especially /android/data folder).
3)Reboot to Recovery using root apps or by pressing (PowerOn + VolumeUp) key combination.
4)Wipe /system, /data, /cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.
5)Install MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip
6)Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.
7)Immediately, Install the MIUI6_5.7.9_Patch.zip
8)Again, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.
9)Reboot System.
10)1st boot may take 3-5 minutes (Screen will be a boot animation not a Boot Logo. If you stuck at Boot Logo, then go to recovery & flash the rom again).

Hats off for ur work..nice and lagfree rom...wifi working for me...found a bug...in sound can't open audio setting got fc for setting. And only thing I miss the keypad notification light for msg and miss call..any way to get that..and how much is the camera pixel..

Notification lights are limited to LED lights, to enhance battery life.
Camera capacity was not shown in megapixels, but MIUI utilizes full camera capacity (supported by Hardware).

Perfect port bro, everything working fine, rom is smooth n stable, found some bugs like fc settings when opening audio settings

I guess!! you haven't wiped cache & Dalvik Cache before/after installing update. So, it's showing same version no. even after update.
Missing icons are due to lacunae in stock kernel( I've tried a lot, but Needs custom kernel)

I will update link to full rom, time to time, generally every Sunday, as MiUi releases weekly update on Friday.

Hi Sachin, thumbs up for your work... nice rom .. but when i optimize and clean by using security app and reboot phone, it does boot up , fixing only at boot logo. It happens only with miui posted by you.. not with those of avi sir or rohit. Please help.

My phone is booting normally after cleaning with cleaner/security app.
Does it solved a problem??

Try a factory reset from recovery after flashing both the zips.. Had the same issue.. Fixed this way

I tried ur way.. After a factory reset when I checked with the security app the process freezed at 87℅.

But one thing .. When using full ROM posted by rohit/avi/puduraja this bug is not noticed. My phone boots normally after using security app. Please help.. I need the updated MIUI ROM...

Hi Sachin.r.fulzele,
1st of all THNXXXXXX for such a wonderful rom updated till date.
2nd There is no lag/FC in allover & no equalizer issue in this build.
3Rd THNXXXX for butter smooth UI in theme change & by default theme while having 40 above apps with high end Games.
4th Camera also very smoothly working with Full HD jpg 4.5+mb size images.
5th Battery backup also very fine no issue till date.
6th Theme option is far much better than previous build, However there are still some option are missing for selecting custom Dialer/icons/Locksreen, ETC.
7Th JOCKER Screen on boot loader is extremely awesome.
Only Issue is in some of the theme change there is no call UI appear in Locksreen state, However i have to unlock device first then drop status bar tray then have to go in notification call option to rcv.
Not a big deal it might be a theme issue.
Over all 10/10 from my side for such a Chocolate sweet rom.

Hi Guys, My problem is not solved yet.. does the security app deleting any system file while cleaning. because when i use root cleaner with full cleaning , the system restarts as usual.

@luke.rockstar,
Theme customize option reappears, just go to installed apps/theme & clear cache. Try if you can deal with themes, when u r offline. As the problem from miui side, I've reported it.

As u said, there is not such a problem with roms by rohit, try installing cleaner app from that rom.

Extract full rom.zip, go to system/app or priv-app and search for kingsoft cleaner, install it as normal apk

Same problem occurs with this rom also. Can you please tell me how to port security app from the rom where this bug is not found. I tried to install it as a normal apk but failed.

app isn't installed as normal apk as the security app needs 5 apps to run cleaner ,data saver ,permission manager etc
in security app while cleaning don't clean system cache
have u remove any system app,if yes then it goes in bootloop after reboot

Mi Contact and Dialer 11.0.8.1 working Global RN8

Contact and dialer vertion 11.0.8.1 its working perfect in RN8 MIUI vertion 11.0.4.0 global.

Can you share the caller screen for incoming and outgoing call

Cannot change the default phone app to this ?

Tried 11.0.8.4 on global RN8t 11.0.5 and phone app keeps crushing is this the same for others?

it works but can't make call it keep crashing to resolve that you need to install it as a system APP I think it's a permission issue but installing it as system apps make it makes calls.

Update : I could remove the stock dialer and contact apps, everything works but there's is an issue when making a call , the screen that shows the buttons for hold, speaker ETC (the screen in attachment) .... doesn't show up, I had to restore the stock app again

if your phone is rooted you can use luckypatcher but it's not allowed here in XDA,I'm not sure if after changing the APK permission when it's intalled in internal memory will make it a system app (need to check this on), the other solution is to make it aflashable ZIP that can be flashed through TWRP or a custom recovery.
I did the 1st one the others 2 I never testd them.

I made a flashabe ZIP for the dialler but I couldn't test it on my phone but if some1 can do it , it will be great
you will need a custom recovery to do SO, this might brick you phone.

apk dealer don't work on redmi note 8t rom EE 11.0.7.0 it's possible twrp Flashable zip?

if your phone is rooted you can use luckypatcher but it's not allowed here in XDA,I'm not sure if after changing the APK permission when it's intalled in internal memory will make it a system app (need to check this on), the other solution is to make it aflashable ZIP that can be flashed through TWRP or a custom recovery.
I did the 1st one the others 2 I never testd them.

I didn't understand what u meant with "fix" if you are referring to install Mi contact and dialler through luckypatcher you need to get the APK 1st, in lucky patcher the bottom left corner you will find "Rebuil & install" it will open the file explorer select the APK then "install as system app" you will need to reboot the phone

it's safe it's just an app installed as system app just dont remove the stock ones also if you do a system update there is a chance they will be removed and u will to reinstall them

I tried this and didn't work Thank you, anyway. I hate de google dialer app.

If I try to make a call, it crashes. If I set it as default, the phone shuts down instantly
