I have installed LegoIce™ Project ROM 4.2.2 [LegoIce™ Galaxy S4] http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2458879 and [ROM 4.2.2] [30 Sep 2013] Micromax Mega™ v1.6 ROM [Aroma] http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2463987 In both the ROM when I tried to install .apk files form my SD card Its not installing even after given permission to install it from unknown source. Can anyone help me?

try some other apk installer app from playsotre, or may b your apk is corrupted
Are you getting any specific error message while installing those APK's???
hey are u able to open settings and about phone option too?? i suggest u download app not installing patch from dark nexus page or wipe dalvik and cache!

Thanks for the Replay. I have try to install all apps installed in my memory card. I am sure that none of the apps are corrupted because i can install the same apps from any 4.2.1 Roms.

Thanks for the replay . When i try to install the apps its just giving a message 'app not installed' instead of App Installed Screen . While installing apps progress bar is showing but at last it shows as app not installed. I think its with the permission setting. Do you know any way to give the user full permission?

Thanks for the replay:fingers-crossed:. Yes I am able to access phone settings and about phone option. But it crash when i select Security > Lock screen>
The problem is that i didn't find Super Backup application in Play store( i have done all my backup through Super backup). I hope i have to wait till the next ROM release I have tried the ROM with and without patch and cleared and not clearing the dalvik cache.

Just give it a try, this may fix the issue
In recovery first do Wipe Cache Partition & then do Wipe Dalvik Cache & then Fix Permissions, reboot

Well I installed this and, while it boots fine, my phone reboots automatically every time I long-press the power button in an attempt to bring the power menu.
The Contact app is closed evertime i start it..

The same happened to me too in Evo7. Also, be aware that if you flash this mod, you'll no longer have the Performance menu within settings. That has nothing to do with this mod itself, it's something extra that Evo7 added.
That's annoying. I was just about to flash the new zip file, thx.
Can't we take PerformanceControl.apk from Evo7 priv-app folder and put it in laginoo's zip file ? As we do for the framework ? What do you think about this ? Sorry if I'm totally wrong with this thought and/or out of the subject..

I actually have no idea, it might work but I don't know how the dependencies work, we'd have to ask the Evo7's developer

Pre-requisites:
1)Custom recovery such as TWRP, CWM, PhilzTouch(TWRP 2.8.4 rev2 prefered, as I've tested rom using this recovery)
2)Before proceeding, Back up your Current Rom (Failsafe).
3)/System minimum 1gb partition (Repartition your phone, before you flash this ROM).
4)SP Flash Tools & Stock rom (In case, If you are in trouble).
Procedure:
1)Put the downloaded MiuiV6_5.7.9_By_SmiLeToLiFe.zip in sd card.
2)Delete any files from previously installed rom from sd card & phone storage (especially /android/data folder).
3)Reboot to Recovery using root apps or by pressing (PowerOn + VolumeUp) key combination.
4)Wipe /system, /data, /cache, Dalvik Cache, Android Secure using Advanced Wipe.

6)Don't reboot system, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache & Press Home button.
7)Immediately, Install the MIUI6_5.7.9_Patch.zip
8)Again, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache.
9)Reboot System.
10)1st boot may take 3-5 minutes (Screen will be a boot animation not a Boot Logo. If you stuck at Boot Logo, then go to recovery & flash the rom again).

Notification lights are limited to LED lights, to enhance battery life.
Camera capacity was not shown in megapixels, but MIUI utilizes full camera capacity (supported by Hardware).
Perfect port bro, everything working fine, rom is smooth n stable, found some bugs like fc settings when opening audio settings

I guess!! you haven't wiped cache & Dalvik Cache before/after installing update. So, it's showing same version no. even after update.
Missing icons are due to lacunae in stock kernel( I've tried a lot, but Needs custom kernel)
In order to avoid overcrowding of MiUi roms, problem faced by Dr. Avi sir, I am presenting universal port for MiUi7 ROM for Xolo Q3000, with special thanks to:

10) If u face any problem or wanna flash as clean install, then wipe data as well as system, alongwith Dalvik & Cache, before flashing rom.
Note:
I will update link to full rom, time to time, generally every Sunday, as MiUi releases weekly update on Friday.

Hi Sachin, thumbs up for your work... nice rom .. but when i optimize and clean by using security app and reboot phone, it does boot up , fixing only at boot logo. It happens only with miui posted by you.. not with those of avi sir or rohit. Please help.

My phone is booting normally after cleaning with cleaner/security app.
Does it solved a problem??
Try a factory reset from recovery after flashing both the zips.. Had the same issue.. Fixed this way

I tried ur way.. After a factory reset when I checked with the security app the process freezed at 87℅.

But one thing .. When using full ROM posted by rohit/avi/puduraja this bug is not noticed. My phone boots normally after using security app. Please help.. I need the updated MIUI ROM...
Hi Sachin.r.fulzele,
1st of all THNXXXXXX for such a wonderful rom updated till date.
2nd There is no lag/FC in allover & no equalizer issue in this build.
3Rd THNXXXX for butter smooth UI in theme change & by default theme while having 40 above apps with high end Games.
4th Camera also very smoothly working with Full HD jpg 4.5+mb size images.
5th Battery backup also very fine no issue till date.
6th Theme option is far much better than previous build, However there are still some option are missing for selecting custom Dialer/icons/Locksreen, ETC.
7Th JOCKER Screen on boot loader is extremely awesome.
Only Issue is in some of the theme change there is no call UI appear in Locksreen state, However i have to unlock device first then drop status bar tray then have to go in notification call option to rcv.
Not a big deal it might be a theme issue.
Over all 10/10 from my side for such a Chocolate sweet rom.
Hi Guys, My problem is not solved yet.. does the security app deleting any system file while cleaning. because when i use root cleaner with full cleaning , the system restarts as usual.

Theme customize option reappears, just go to installed apps/theme & clear cache. Try if you can deal with themes, when u r offline. As the problem from miui side, I've reported it.

As u said, there is not such a problem with roms by rohit, try installing cleaner app from that rom.

Extract full rom.zip, go to system/app or priv-app and search for kingsoft cleaner, install it as normal apk

Same problem occurs with this rom also. Can you please tell me how to port security app from the rom where this bug is not found. I tried to install it as a normal apk but failed.

app isn't installed as normal apk as the security app needs 5 apps to run cleaner ,data saver ,permission manager etc
in security app while cleaning don't clean system cache
have u remove any system app,if yes then it goes in bootloop after reboot

- click on mount / system read / write
- add wipe to flashfire..... select system, 3rd party apps, dalvik cache, cache partition, cache partition format and wipe boot image backups
- move wipe to the top
- click on flash
- after rom is installed it will update and install some bloat.... but this time, you just can click on uninstall.
notes:
- yes, you can use this rom and skip part two of the root procedure
- yes android pay works. at least it opens up fine. i never used

Care to post instructions? I used Flashfire to wipe then install the .zip but it looks like I still have some stuff from other providers like cricket and metro.
Edit: Looks like it didnt flash in Flashfire. I'm getting this error: This package is for "dreamqltesq" devices; this is a " "

- as soon as you finish with the unstable su installation (first su injection), install flash fire
- update supersu (normal) and disable knox
- reboot
- turn on airplane mode
- open flashfire and click flash zip or ota
- browse to turbo.s8.ss2.zip file

Had some issues with root but looks like I figured it out. Runs great!!!!

Reboot and let it sit for few minutes.... there are some scripts running at boot.

I installed this and it works perfectly. I see you are optimizing and updating this rom quickly. For V3 and beyond is there a way to install without doing a full wipe every time? Thank you for the hard work.

Hi and thank you!!. In short, negative. Why? If I add, something, that's no problem. The problem is, when I remove stuff. If we do it like that, then you will keep all the stuff I removed. That's the reason behind it.
Of course, if I create a script to remove stuff before, it will work too. But too much overhead, for me. I try to keep it simple.
