DROID Universal Root
or DROID U-ROOT
ROOT can access all features deep down into system, just like you are a Administrator in Windows Computer!
ROOT can give you more benefits like, optimize performance, save more battery life, completely remove unwanted user and system apps, and more!
That's why i created this small package
(ChainsDD has also his package but it's old : http://androidsu.com/superuser/)
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Android 2.3 Gingerbread to 4.2 Jelly Bean (Not yet sure for KitKat)
+ Android Devices with ARM Architecture, not yet available for x86, MIPS, etc.
+ An Android Device with a workable Recovery Mode Console.
(Custom and NON-OEM Recoveries are Recommended! More info...)
* With a SD Card at least 20MB remaining space, a system partition at least
12MB and a "/data" or internal memory with at least 10MB space remaining.

NOTE : For users who are using DROID_U-ROOT_******--SIGNED.zip,
If installation fails, try these two packages.
DROID_U-ROOT_******_GB--SIGNED.zip contains Superuser files by @ChainsDD
while, DROID_U-ROOT_******_ICS+--SIGNED.zip contains SuperSU files by @Chainfire

Android rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other
devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control
(known as "root access") within Android's sub-system.
Rooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and
hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or
replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require
administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise
inaccessible to a normal Android user. On Android, rooting can also facilitate the
complete removal and replacement of the device's operating system, usually with a
more recent release of its current operating system.
As Android derives from the Linux kernel, rooting an Android device gives similar
access administrative permissions as on Linux or any other Unix-like operating
system such as FreeBSD or OS X.
Root access is sometimes compared to jailbreaking devices running the
Apple iOS operating system. However, these are different concepts.
Jailbreaking describes the bypass of several types of Apple prohibitions
for the end user: modifying the operating system (enforced by a "locked bootloader"),
installing non-officially approved apps via sideloading,
and granting the user elevated administration-level privileges.
Only a minority of Android devices lock their bootloaders?nd many vendors such
as HTC, Sony, Asus and Google explicitly provide the ability to unlock devices,
and even replace the operating system entirely.
Similarly, the ability to sideload apps is typically permissible on Android devices
without root permissions. Thus, it is primarily the third aspect of iOS jailbreaking
relating to giving users superuser administrative privileges that most directly
correlates to Android rooting.
2. Advantages and Disadvantages of ROOT

An Android Device with a ROOT Access can give more functionality, such as by
Optimizing Performance both Software (Kernel, ROM) and Hardware (CPU, RAM, SoC)
Longing Battery Life, Uninstalling unwanted system apps, Forcibly transfer the app
to the SD Card (Even it's not supported) etc. All of these functions can separately
install using apps with a special SU (Root binary) system call.
Many users says that ROOT Access was a great function for a Android device.
But ROOT can cause vulnerabilities on your device and it's potentially dangerous
just because it can access deep down into a Android Sub-System such as modifying
system files, depending of which particular files or binaries would modify it by
users.
3. What are the requirements to make it work?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In order to make it workable smoothly, you/users must comply these requirements;
* Android 2.3 Gingerbread to 4.2 Jelly Bean (Not yet sure for KitKat)
* An Android Device with a workable Recovery Mode Console.
Custom and NON-OEM Recoveries are Recommended!

This package will install a Superuser/SuperSU app in system/app/ directory, then
the su binary will install in a system/xbin/ directory. While the other functions
will be informed how at XDA forum.
4. How to install DROID UNIVERSAL ROOT?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BEFORE INSTALLATION...
Reboot your device to recovery mode, booting IT can be in different ways.
Case #1: Turning off the device and wait in a seconds to shut, and pressing
BOTH Power, Volume Up and Home Hard Buttons. This case are applicable
in many Samsung or other devices which it has a center button (HOME).
Case #2: Turning off the device and wait in a seconds to shut, and pressing
BOTH Power, and Volume Up Buttons. This case are mostly applicable
to the devices without a center button. (Soft Touch)
In some recoveries, some of them doesn't have a "select zip from sdcard" option.
So make sure you must rename the package to update.zip
INSTALLATION...
After that, Use the volume button to move, and home/menu/power button to select.
Some devices can select by tapping. Choose "select zip from sdcard" or
"select update.zip from sdcard". It will run if you rename this package
to update.zip!
AFTER INSTALLATION...
Reboot your device, wait for a moment to boot, and open your launcher menu.
When the Superuser/SuperSU app appeared, it means that you are ROOTED.
5. Compatibility Notice
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOT ALL ANDROID DEVICES are 100% workable in this package.
Many devices may not be easy to install cause of security features
such as OEM Recoveries build and provided by own manufacturers,
and locked bootloaders which it has a ability to restrict sideloading files
except their Official OTA Updates. It should be unlocked right away before
this procedure.
For users experienced Error 0 by installing this package, simply replace the
update-binary file from any of your stable update-binary.

Idk what this is. OP says Stable and beta. I downloaded your signed beta rc 1.0 and it is nothing but supersu apk, su binaries, and busy box. The updater script seemed weird as supersu does all of the work in the updater-binary. Anyway, I have no idea what this is supposed to be. You might want to ask @Chainfire before repackaging his stuff though. It doesn't appear in your OP that you give him credit.

HOW TO FIX PRIVATE MODE
NOTE: These instructions are for STOCK ROM using chainfire's system less cf-autoroot on the SPRINT GALAXY NOTE5 (SM-N920P). This might help for other Samsung devices but this is written for the mentioned model only. I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR SOFTWARE, DEVICE, CAT, DOG, DRAGON, HOME, COUNTRY, PLANET OR SOLAR SYSTEM. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
1.) Install Xposed Framework (follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960 - use sdk22 arm64)
2.) Download module "Wanam Xposed for Android 5.x.x" - VERSION 1.3.0 OR NEWER
3.) Run Wanam Xposed and activate option Security hacks>Disable secure storage
4.) Using a file explorer that can access root with r/w permission, Delete the following folders:

- /data/privatemode
- /data/system/secure_storage/com.samsung.android.personalpage.service
And delete the file:

5.) ACTIVATE THE WANAM XPOSED MODULE in Xposed

This is a simple guide to tweaks and tools for Huawei Y541-U02. This post is not complete, some tools are missing, but this is all I can find.
HOW TO ROOT (No PC)
1. Download the Latest Kingroot App Here.
2. On your device, go to Settings >> Security >> Unknown Sources. Make sure its enabled.
3. Install the App. Click "Get Root".
INSTALLING XPOSED
1. Download the Lastest Xposed Installer Here.
2. Allow unknown sources on your device settings.
3. Install the app and open.
4. Inside the app, go to settings. Check Disable Resource Hooks (Important. Otherwise it may mess up your device).
5. Go back. Go to Framework, install and reboot.
NOTE: Some modules won't work because of the disabled resource hooks.

WARNING
Before you root your device you must be aware that
This will void warranty.
As of now you will lose Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass forever if you root once, even unrooting won't help.
There are many features stop working when you unlock bootloader other than S pay/Pass like Samsung Health, Secure Folder, Galaxy Watch pairing issue, Issue connecting old gear watch (S3 or earlier), Google Pay etc but ROM is patched for all these mentioned features. Still you may trouble using some bank apps and these may fixed by adding these apps to Magisk Hide
There may be some knox features there which you may not able to use but I can't list those as I never used. Just Google It
Patched featurs are working today when writing this, No idea if it may stop working next moment/tomorrow or later
Also to note, once you root, you can't go back to "pre-rooted" state completely. It is one way!
OTA won't work once you root device.
ROOT with caution.
You can unroot & Relock bootloader after flashing stock firmware, but still your warranty flag remain 0x1 and most of countries it still voids warranty. Also after unrooting & relocking bootloader, some knox features never work again.
ROM Tool permission : Files & media - To save and read files, Calendar - Tool needs some time monitoring to avoid using RT immediately after reboot. Special access for accessibility service - Since Android 12 it requires for QS panel custom Toggl e.g. Reboot to recovery

How to Root (currently non rooted device) with or without TWRP

Root with or Without TWRP
1.Root without TWRP :
Unlock Bootloader
You needs to download stock firmware (You can get stock firmware with Frija) and extract AP*.tar.md5 file and patch with magisk. Flash patched file with AP tab of Odin PS : In case root files without TWRP available in download area for your variant, you can use that for AP slot instead of Patching AP
put device in download mode and connect to PC and flash above files
Reboot to recovery and select to format data
Reboot to system → You will see Magisk stub in drawer → Update it. (In case stub not there, Donload magisk app from Download area and intall manually) → Open Magisk - It will ask to complete additionl setup, Let it do. → Reboot device. You are now ready to Intall Dr.Ketan ROM module. Move to next step.
2.Root with TWRP
Unlock Bootloader
Download TWRP, Patched vbmeta and Kernel and system-rw script zip from TWRP thread (Link below)
Select TWRP tar file with AP slot and Patched vbmeta for USERDATA slot of Odin PS : In case root files with TWRP available in download area for your variant, you can use that for AP slot. It contains both TWRP+patched vbmeta
Put device in download mode and connect to PC and flash above files
When Flashing completes, disconnect device and starightway reboot to TWRP
Run multidisabler from TWRP → Advanced → Terminal → and type : multidisabler (it may take few minutes, keep patience)
Wipe Data (Full wipe, that you needs to type YES to continue)
Reboot TWRP and now connect to PC and copy Custom kernel and flash from TWRP as zip
get Latest magisk apk and flash from TWRP
If you want to make system-rw, Get afaneh92_lp_rw_tool_v*.zip from TWRP thread and flash
Reboot device to system Update Magisk from stub if availble OR Install Magisk apk
Now ready to install Dr.Ketan Module, Follow XDA ROM Changelog post to install ROM Module

How to Update Firmware and Keep root/twrp intact without losing data
PS : We highly recommend to make data backup before trying this as something went wrong and you may lose data.

Read below methods depending on you have root with or without TWRP
1.Rooted S908B/E/N/0 without TWRP
Unlock bootloader
You needs to download stock firmware you want to update (You can get stock firmware with Frija) and extract AP*.tar.md5 file and patch with magisk. Select Patched AP file for AP slot and BL*.tar.md5,CP_tar.md5,Home_CSC*tar.md5 for BL,CP and CSC slot accordingly. (PS : In case root files without TWRP available in download area for your variant, you can use that for AP slot instead of Patching AP, Importnt : Use Home_CSC*tar.md5 if you want to keep data. Selecting CSC*.tar.md5 will Wipe data autometiclly.)
Reboot device → You are now ready to Intall Dr.Ketan ROM module. Move to next step.
2.Rooted S908B/E/N/0 with TWRP
Download latest firmware as per pre-requisite
Disable Auto Reboot option in Odin
Select appropriate slot in Odin for BL,AP,CP and CSC (Using HOME_CSC will keep data, while using CSC* will format data) from stock firmware
Select TWRP file for USEDATA slot . File must include patched vbmeta file. If TWRP doesn't have patched vbmeta included, you have to make one yourself. To make TWRP+Patched vbmeta : Download both the files from TWRP thread and extract it to get recovery.img and vbmet.img. On your PC, select these two .img files and Rt click → select 7zip → Add to archieve → select archieve format "tar" → Select OK and this will create a tar file that have TWRP+Patched vbmeta. Use newly created tar file for Userdat slot of Odin. PS : Incase download area have Rootfiles with TWRP for your device then it contains everything TWRP+patched vbmeta + Kernel, extract zip to get all required files
When Flashing completes, disconnect device and starightway reboot to TWRP. Importnt : At this stage you should be quick to reboot to TWRP, If you flais and device tries to boot to system, you may have to wipe data.
Run multidisabler from TWRP → Advanced → Terminal → and type : multidisabler (it may take few minutes, keep patience)
Wipe Data (If you are already using Afaneh92's TWRP and used multidisabler + Format data, you can select to Factory Reset too (This will preserve media file) OR you can skip wipe option at all in case you want dirty Install.)
Reboot to TWRP In case you have wiped data.
Copy Kernel & Magisk apk/zip to device (Alternatively use USB storage)
Install kernel (Flash Kernel zip from TWRP)
Flash Magisk
If you want to make system-rw, Get afaneh92_lp_rw_tool_v*.zip from TWRP thread and flash
If you don't have magisk app in drawer (in case of clean install), Install manually.
Open Magisk app and complete setup if it asked for
PS : If you are on any other TWRP or Stock recovery, you must FORMAT DATA (That requires to type 'Yes' to confrm wipe)
Now ready to install Dr.Ketan Module, Follow XDA ROM Changelog post to install ROM Module

Based on S908EXXU1AVBF Android12 March 2022 security patch OneUI 4.1
ROM Tool on essential fix auto setup zygisk including SafetyNet fix (no needs to change any option manually)
Important Instructions for setting up ROM (NEW)
Prerequisite :
Must have installed firmware S908EXXU1AVBF S22 Ultra
Rooted device with Magisk (Zygisk) Intallled (Follow steps belo in case you have non rooted device)
How to Root device
Unlock bootloader
Download Root_files*.zip (available in download area) - Extract and Flash Root_Files_*.tar.md5 with Odin for AP tab
Reboot to recovery and select to format data (Factory reset option on stock recovery)
Reboot device → You will see Magisk stub in drawer → Update it. (In case stuf not there, Donload magisk app from Donload area and intall manually) → Open Magisk - It will ask to complete additionl setup, Let it do. → Reboot device. You are now ready to Intall Dr.Ketan ROM module. Move to next step.
How to Install Dr.Ketn ROM Module
Download DrKetan_ROM_S*_module.zip and copy to device, We recommend to check MD5 to rule out faulty download
Uninstall any other magisk module you have installed
Open Magisk app → Click on Module → Select Install from storage → Select Module file you have copied to device → Complete Intallation and reboot device
Setting up device first time after Module installation
Open ROM Tool, Apply essential fix and Reboot,
After reboot you can check SafetyNet and should be passed. You can use this app from playstore or This from Github to check SafetyNet
Now you can further setup ROM a per your liking. Also MagikHide is Configure Denylist now and available under Magisk Settings.
Since A12 Stable Magisk not working and new Magisk doesn't have buil-in Module repo, You can get standalone module manager from here For more details and queries about new magisk ref this
PS : Plz don't install any other mods for SafetyNet, All queries related to Magisk/SafetyNet will be ignored if already explained above

EDIT: HERE IS THE GUIDE TO USE FOR EXYNOS (still testing)
Ok, so basically find and download the firmware (S908BXXU1AVC6 for EU - or ask me for the File..) to the phone eather with the Phone itself or trought USB-Cable, install magisk.apk from here, unpack the zip file from Firmware and patch the ap file via magisk, get the files to the pc and use odin to flash the patched Firmware.
of course unlock bootloader before and go to download mode.
Here is how to do that:

You can try on exynos (only module, no root files). If it doesn't work then maximum you needs is to factory reset.

I think its much better to make separate only for Exnos variant? So that files for SD will not be included, correct me if I'm wrong about that. Also been using your ROM since my Note 9.

com.android.phone closes down
and it says system is unstable - please do a factory restore - on boot up.
But all in all it seems to work, with root etc.

Optional If you have installed Official Stock YouTube app: Uninstall it if possible or Go to your Settings > Apps > Find YouTube and Select it > Choose Disable > Click Storage > Clear Cache/Data > Uninstall Updates.
Download Vanced microG (latest version) + ReVanced Manager (latest version) [ONLY Arm64 devices] + Recommended Official YouTube Version 18.19.35 (Android 8.0+) [Note: Do NOT download BUNDLE version].
Install Vanced microG + ReVanced Manager. (Do NOT install youtube.apk you previously downloaded)
Open ReVanced Manager and Check if your device is compatible with ReVanced Manager here. [Sort By New]. If it's compatible proceeded.
Go to Settings at the bottom right > Scroll down a bit > Click and enable the Experimental Patches support (Not the Universal).
Go to the Patcher Tab and Choose the section "Select an application".
Click the "Storage" icon on the bottom right corner and select the .apk of Official YouTube which you previously downloaded.
Select the "Recommended patches" box at top left and Patch. [Recommended to deselect Debug patch as it may lead to performance degradation]
The process will start, wait to finish.
Optional if you want to export the patched .apk (app) you made, after finish the patching and before you install it, press the 3-dots menu in the top right corner and export it.
Press Install and done!
While you installing the app and when you first open the app, you MAY get a warn from play store. Press ignore and then press -do not send-. It's safe don't worry about what play store says.
To set the app as default: Go to App info > Open by default > Open supported links, "On" > Supported web addresses > Turn them all "On". [For general devices check this] [If you are using MIUI and you have trouble to do it, check this] [If you still have issues check this and this]
On Huawei devices you should also do this.

How to Update (Backup & Restore ReVanced Manager Keystore)
ReVanced Manager using a keystore file to sign the apk, if you erased all data of the manager the keystore would be deleted too, so you need to remove the old revanced apk to update.
What if there is a way to backup the keystore? It turns out, you CAN, check out below:
Check here how to backup and restore ReVanced Manager Keystore file via adb, so you will be able update your app even if you erased all data of ReVanced Manager.
You can also do it and copy-paste via File Manager > Android > data > app.revanced.manager.flutter > files > revanced-manager.keystore.

Install microG and then the ReVanced or ReVanced Extended.
While you installing the app and when you first open the app, you MAY get a warn from play store, press ignore and then press -do not send-. It's safe don't worry about what play store says.
To set the app as default: Go to App info > Open by default > Open supported links, "On" > Supported web addresses > Turn them all "On". [For general devices check this] [If you are using MIUI and you have trouble to do it, check this] [If you still have issues check this and this]

To Install via Root without microG, you need to manually built according my Root guides at OP. (You can still install my ready .apks here as Root user but along with the microG) [Read here]
Or you can simply install the ReVanced Magisk Module or ReVanced Extended Magisk Module or Inject YouTube Module (iYT) or ReVanced Extended for Android 6-7 Magisk Module.

How to Update
You can just download the new .apk and install it normally as update.
ReVanced Manager using a keystore file to sign the apk, if you ereased all data of the manager the keystore would be deleted too, so you need to remove the old revanced apk to update. In order to prevent that, I backup and restore my keystore. [Read more here and at the same section at OP]
Root Users
Root Users, you can still use my ready apks along with microG if you want.
However, you can also avoid microG and use the below open source Magisk Modules:

A: In ReVanced Manager, for ReVanced include the patch "spoof-signature-verification" and for ReVanced Extended the patch "protobuf-spoof".
After installing the app in ReVanced you can find the toogle Enable spoof signature patch at Misc settings and in ReVanced Extended the protobuf-spoof patch at Miscellaneous settings too. If you are using my ready apks update to the latest version of ReVanced or ReVanced Extended which I include these patches (but you need to enable them manually). Should be fixed, check here and here.
If doesn't work try this.
Q: I have Huawei device and ReVanced force close after 1min, what can I do?
A: Check this.
Q: I have history in search which I didn't search for any of these, also I have search history off. Any reason why this is happening? It won't show the actual search I do, these are just random things or trending things I guess?
A: Check here. Extended has added a patch "hide search terms" which can be enabled in Extended Settings > General > Hide search term suggestion.
Q: How to set ReVanced as default app for youtube links?
A: Go to App info > Set as default > Open supported links, "On" > Supported web addresses > Turn them all "On".
For general devices check this. If you are using MIUI and you have trouble to set it as default app for youtube links, check this. If you still have issues check this and this.
Q: I've set ReVanced to open youtube links but videos open minimized with a glitch.
A: You need to be logged in to ReVanced to open the YouTube links normally when you set it as default youtube app. You can read more about the issue I had here (in the Official Discord of ReVanced). This is also happening in Official YouTube so it's not a bug of ReVanced or Extended. If you don't wanna use your personal Gmail to connect to ReVanced via microG then just create a new one and use it only for it.
Q: I have History/Search issues what to do?
A: Check your dns or ad-blocker and whitelist the following domains: "s.youtube.com", "video-stats.l.google.com" and "video-stats.video.google.com." If you use VPN try to turn it off.

A: Currently on ReVanced is not possible to do that. On ReVanced Extended there is an option to Import/Export the settings which can be found at Miscellenous settings.
If you are using my ready apks or you are using ReVanced Manager with the same keystore you patched before, you can just use the new apk over the current you have installed and it will update without losing your settings. Read more about how to update your app without losing your settings here.
Q: What is QUIC protocol setting in ReVanced Extended?

For official revanced
user's should not select debug patch as it may lead to performance degradation.

developer recommends selecting all patches and configuring yt app per user requirement.
Root users would need detach magisk module to prevent YouTube update from playstore.
Revanced manager has an option to export log and patched YouTube option available.
User's should use them...

Which version you trying to install Official ReVanced or Extended? Non root/root?
Are you sure u used the Recommended Official YouTube version? 17.43.36 or 17.45.36 for ReVanced and 17.45.36 for ReVanced Extended? @q1pa I see 17.46.37 in your screenshot, that's why I ask.
Really strage since it's working fine for most people.

I have added as optional step, But I am pretty sure not gonna hurt even if root users install Vanced microG.

I don't have any issue even if I deselected some patches. I will leave it like that, if any user face an issue, I will add it as note.

What's the point of that step? ReVanced isn't using different packange name anyway? Anyway, I've included this near patches as recommended documentation to read.

The only point to install MicroG is to be able to sign into ReVanced on an unrooted device. If you're rooted Google Play Services will ensure that. MicroG is always active (like it's google pendant) and therefore using battery. So I recommend: If you're rooted don't install it.

At first, it did not work for me, too. I also received the errors, other users mentioned.
But then I saw your post was from saturday. There is a new Revanced Manager Version (0.43) since today. So I have installed the older version 0.42, which works absolutely fine.

What version of YouTube you trying to patch? What version of ReVanced Manager?
Cannot install. previously was error like that two other user had, I also encounter Abort result. I did delete the /data/adb/service.d, /data/adb/post-fs-data.d directory, but after reboot the directory comes back, the contents of the directory is gone tho
