AVS group without root!? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Is there a way to find out my AVS group/bin before I root, I just did a warranty replacement but I don't want to root just to find out then it turns out to be a bad number group and on top of that lose Samsung pay..
I appreciate any feedback
Thanks in advance!!!

I just did a Google of what you're asking and literally no results. Did autocorrect mess up your post? To help you not waste time worrying about samsung pay, not into download and look at the Knox counter.

Ahh I see what you're asking for. No I do not know how to find that out. I would suggest contacting Samsung as they should be able to match that to your device's serial number. Your Knox counter being 0x0 is good. I would just keep it that way instead of rooting because then Samsung pay would no longer work. Is it for Samsung Pay that you need to know the AVS #?
It can't be that you're asking for it for Undervolting and Overclocking as you have to Root for that. So for Address Verification Security under Samsung Pay? I also know that it's used for PayPal when it comes to Credit Cards.

I do want to undervolt/underclock, if i root and its a low number.. well then i have a low number then i can't sell my device... but if i can find out my avs bin # and its a high number then i can root and ill keep the device, ill just sell it if its a low#, and ill get a nexus 6p.. but like i said if i root it then that person will lose samsung pay.. so is there a way i can find out without rooting?

The what heck do you expect, do you want troves and troves of people to come and tell you "We don't know the answer to your question" just to give you a warm and fuzzy?, get over your self. Did you even thank the people that were trying to help you? Nah, doesn't look like it.
Common sense tells you that if someone had the answer to your SUPER specific request then they would be helping you. But, you rather throw a hissy fit like someone will feel bad for you or get butt hurt when you start dishing out 12 year old insults.
Welp good sir, take your clever L33t word play and kick rocks. Find another community to go crying for handouts in.

Don't do it, will brick your phone for sure. Anything for the Charge WILL NOT work with your phone.

I see no bricks in the linked thread. I would highly recommend NOT flashing a Charge Odin file to the Aviator, especially don't use the PIT file, however, some components of the odin file may have at least some functionality. The thing is, if you have to ask if it will work, you shouldn't be doing it.
End of the second page. Not technically a brick I guess, but effectively one because the only fix was to replace it.
Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
I was asking because over at team us cellular a guy followed some dumb post about how to root the aviator and he is bricked. The store/ service center has the odin file but no pit file. Was hoping he could use the charge pit file. Was just hoping to help him out.

So US cellular doesnt even give two craps if you mess with your phone? They just odin it for you? Looks like a cool company if you ask me
Yeah I guess not. I've bern told several times about rooting by different sales reps lol. Had two ask me to put a custom rom on there mesmerizes lol.

You can get the PIT file if you're rooted. Just dump /dev/block/bml2 with dd. If they have a full Odin file that they'll share, let me see it and I can get the phone rooted for you
Ill try to get it asap. Thanks a lot

Installing CWM Recovery

I wanted to ask if there's any way to install CWM directly on galaxy R without using ODIN.The problem with my cell is that its micro usb port is damaged and its not detectable on computer. So the only way i can connect my cell is using kies and bluetooth. My Phone is rooted and have a yellow triangle at the beginning and have a custom kernal installed.I want to fix these problems before giving my cell to SSC.Guys i need serious help.i have been googling for three days but didnt find any thing useful. Thanks in Advance
If u download adam77root's cwm 5.x.x.x in your phone, rename it to update.zip and then use install update.zip option in stock recovery, will that work?
I m not sure, let some expert reply first to this.

I was experimenting with bypassing signature verification or creating a signature, but didn't manage to make it. I finally thought it's easier to flash with Odin.

Probably, he's on holiday nowaday, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't feel as developing to Galaxy R will not growth too much the number of users of Mobile Odin Pro. Maybe, we need to make some noise on his thread to let him know our needs

I completely agree mate. I don't understand why these well known developers won't support our efficient device. What irks me more is that fact that there's support for those ****ty Xperia phones with their ****ty hardware but not for our device. I think we should try and get some attention. Who knows, one big developer and things could change drastically for us:thumbup::beer:

Well, I think Chainfire has work enough... I readed he has some phones "under consideration" to developing support for them in MobileOdin, but all of them sent their dumps and kernels during the last year (2011), so probably, we could conquer GalaxyR support for 2013-Q4 :crying::crying::crying:
Chainfire is one of the most busiest and best developers on xda. He works basically exclusively on flagships just like all the most famous devs do. This is how it is. He has already started to develop on SGS3 and I've read he's even willing to abandon S2 totally due to lack of time. (take a look at the number of just his premium apps on the market.) When he decide to give support then it's really enormous contribution. So I can really understand why he don't have time for other phones. Every little piece of such development takes time.
If I may suggest something, before being punished, don't spam his threads. I really don't think it will make anybody work and another thing different communities can be really very agressive towards such initiatives. Kindly ask him as cooleagle suggested.

The simple solution isn't always simple for somebody on fixed bandwidth with no actual internet or ISP, a 2GB file is not an option for me at this point. A small APK that's mere KB's is a much better alternative. Thanks though.

MetroPCS Official Device Unlock APP - SOLVED
This will work if you have a un-rooted MetroPCS device
1. Please back up all your data ( any pictures, video contacts etc).
2. NOTE This step will delete all your data and wipe your phone clean - Do a factory data reset : - go to setting and search for "reset"
when your phone restarts it will load up the MetroPCS stock ROM and you will have all of the MetroPCS app suite including the official MetroPCS device unlock app.
