Old style Galaxy S4 SIM card in Note 5? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

I just got my Note 5. As I went to switch out the SIM cards I noticed that the carrier in the note 5 used the nano size cards and not the micro sized cards in the original S4.
Can these micro cards be cut for nano size? It looks like I would cut the metal if I did that.
Or is there a way in the t-mobile site that I can switch which number is assigned to which phone?

You would have to go into a T-mobile store and get a new SIM

Not true I have cut them 50 times. .. all you do is cut it right next to the gold color along all 4 edges carefully leaving a small hint of the white strip with scissors and cut the little angle corner the same place at the top test fit if it's little off on fitting in the tray cut it a hair more. .. my note 5 has a cut nano sim from my note 3 which was a micro.
I've done this on the spot on many phone trades I've done. And many others here will tell you the same .
Don't waist gas and time going to a store.

Unfortunately I don't think cutting it will work most of the time the contact pad is clearly the same, but in this case I would need to cut the contact pad to have the same size.
Take a look.

looking for a slip case/pouch

Guys I'm looking for a leather slip case/pouch for nexus 4. What I have in mind is something like blackberry cases where its rigid design (retains shape without phone inside and something that is made FOR nexus 4 so it's a snug fit but not impossible to remove.
something like this but for N4:

I was actually thinking of getting one. I saw this one on amazon, it was the only one I could find that didn't have one of those pull tabs. Reviews seem decent and only £2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mobile-bits4u-NEXUS-Black-Leather-Protective/dp/B00A50EPAG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1387294516&sr=8-4&keywords=nexus+4+pouch
I know this one says made for the S3. But I've been using it for my Nexus 4. It fits perfectly. Snug enough that it won't fall out but also not tight enough that you'll have to struggle to get the phone out.
Was going to post a link but I think I need ten posts. So if you go to amazon.com and look for "Ultra Slim Pocket Slip Case Pouch for Samsung Galaxy S3 - GT-i9300 S III" (just copy and paste), you'll find it. It's $7.
i hardly recommend a bumper! saved my screen a few times
Does anyone think the Blackberry Z30 case will fit the N4/ bumper? The BB Z30 dimensions are 140.7 x 72 x 9.4 mm (5.54 x 2.83 x 0.37 in) and the N4 dimensions are 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 mm (5.27 x 2.70 x 0.36 in)

I guess test it, sometimes cases fit and sometimes not. It depends often on the material...

My setup - Sinjimoru Pouch + Spigen Case

Here's my setup:
- Sinjimoru Credit Card Pouch V3.
- Spigen Crystal Clear Tpu Case
The Sinjimoru uses a hardcore 3M adhesive to attach onto any case.

I had the same setup on my Note 3. The pouch on my old setup lasted pretty much the whole time. Didn't give up and the adhesive haven't peeled in anyway.
I enjoyed the irony of having the best mobile device with a credit card pouch. We can now mobile pay so credit card is unnecessary.
Note 4 beats your Note 3, just sayin...
Most of the stores and restaurants I know don't accept mobile pay.

I never use mobile pay and I don't believe in the security of it. I much rather use credit cards for the per swipe. Also many countries that I travel in don't support mobile pay.
speaker holes
do the speaker holes line up on this case since the vzw note 4 is a bit different than the other kids in the family ?

Actually, mobile is not well supported in the USA. The credit card companies are still fighting with each other in regards to it support. I thought we might have seen some progress with ApplePay since there would be an huge herd of iPhone6 users who would be willing to use it. Alas, a couple of major supporters have already stopped supporting it.
Personally, I like Google Wallets implementation. Unfortunately, Google, Apple, and various other tech companies don't have enough clout in the financial markets to change the credit card. It will occur, but it's going to a lot more time.
Hey buddy..im using the same case as you.

Not too bad of a case. The only I dont' like is that it's not 100% clear.. Has a slight yellow tint in the TPU.
Hey there, for those using a Sinjimoru on a Note 4, does it block the flash or the speaker on the back? Been wanting to pick one up, but was worried it'd hit one or the other with cards in the back. Thanks!

nope, don't have a problem. check the attached pics
Curious, I actually wasn't able to mount it in a way that didn't have my business cards blocking the flash, at least partially. I had to shift it down and to the side, mounting it in the lower-right of the back to clear both the speaker and the flash. It fits, just.

Yeah, it's an old thread, but i can admit: it would be awesome if there was transparent back plate

It was known for a quite long time now. But Note 5 / S6 Edge+ have glass+metal construction which cannot be seperated (you can't access the battery) , while S5 has plastic construction, where you can take off the back cover to get access to battery, sd card or sim card.
In Note 5 / S6 Edge+ you had to heat up the back glass to loose the adhesive underneath, pull out the glass, then scratch off the color layer, and finally readhere the glass to phone.
In our S5 we can't do something like that, because we have a plastic cover which is not transparent. I would love to have ability to simply mod it like that, but it is not possible
Search eBay or look for someone who molds things on eBay or youtube
Maybe you could print the case with an 3D Printer ?
There are Companys which offer this even with transparent "print".

Any luck?
+1
I want a couple too, any luck?
I bought the RIngke Fusion with clear back. It's a case, but it's tight enough that you can take out the back cover and use it as is.

Laser sensor and cases

Any cases available on Prime and in stock that don't jack up the laser autofocus?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
I see most cases have cut out for the three spots on the left (camera, flash, sensor) but not the two spots on the right. What are those? Is it ok to block it?
Spigen ultra hyper case is the only case that leave the visor fully exposed which I am planning to use the phone in.

Don't know what those 2 holes are, but they don't look like sensors. The white thing on the right is a "warranty void if removed" sticker on top of a screw.
What's most interesting about this device is that it does indeed look like it could support dual sims with the right tray... Or a sim/SD card slot. There are definitely 2 chip hookups behind that shroud in the teardown. It's possible that it's just a dummy port though.

Only s8 cases will fit an s8, s8+ cases will only fit an s8+.
Is this real life?
Everybody can tell right off that this thread is troll
G955U is not dual SIM
There is no way that S8+' cases won't fit to a S8+. It is probably a fake one
Last but not least, writing like a crazy man (with capital and small letters combined) won't make you more believable
