Does Flashing with a Stock Rom leave the phone locked to the region it was purchased in or replace the region lock to the country of the firmware that was flashed. If that makes sense. Thanks for your help.
So in other words does changing the CSC alter the region lock status say you unlock the region lock with one CSC then change firmware with another do you then have to region unlock for that region

Is there any way to know the status of Region, SIM, Country etc. unlock status? I mean how anyone know that the phone is locked or not?
Go to recovery mode and check CSC.
I bought my phone from a different country and it was country locked. I got it unlocked but I am curious If I flash the other second country's firmware, will my phone again get country locked. Or is there any chance by which the phone can be country locked again?
If my phone was region locked then unlocked then flashed a cross region firmware and flashed back to the original one, will region lock come back?
Also, can anyone answer where in the system does this kind of lock reside?

If I install the global firmware and attempt to lock the bootloader, will it brick the device, or do I need to use the original region firmware to avoid this?
There is a very high chance you will brick your device when locking bootloader with rom for different region, I wouldn't risk it.
Maybe a stupid question. Is it possible to put another regions rom on the 908U? I was thinking about flashing the international rom to be able to unlock the bootloader, just checking if it's been tried before.
