Hello, I am planning to change my Poco X3 firmware region to Global.
If I install the global firmware and attempt to lock the bootloader, will it brick the device, or do I need to use the original region firmware to avoid this?
There is a very high chance you will brick your device when locking bootloader with rom for different region, I wouldn't risk it.

Rebrand to any firmware(requires bootloader unlock once, but it's relocked after it's done): https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108

Now magisk is much complicated for me now days and I don't want to root my phone
I have indian version poco X3 pro I flashed eu rom but saftynet failed. so can I lock bootloader with eu rom and this will fix saftynet failed issue fixed .
I don't want to root my phone and magisk method is looking complicated now days so that option is not my choice so plz help me with that
Locking the bootloader means phone gets forced to boot into ROM what was pre-installed.
I think eu rom should have resolved the safetynet, you should ask in the eu rom forums.
From my limitted knowledge, if you re-lock you must only flash the same ROM that your phone was sold with, or you'll have a brick...
Unless I'm mistaken, once re-locked even EDL will not be available, so it would be hard brick.
Don't do that unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Try at your own risk though, I heard new xiaomi devices don't allow people to lock their phone, even if you want to the fastboot will simply not let you do it. On slightly older xiaomi device, it does let you lock the phone but good chance that you are stuck with that rom because you can't unlock it.

Use stock rom india openline firmware
@Sheepmister thanks for the response, I couldn't able to find the right link. Please can you help me?
Appreciate quicker response.
@Sheepmister I have downloaded the firmware https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a12/firmware/#SM-A125U with the country as Unknown, flashed with ODIN still the phone is in Network Locked state. Please help me if i am missing anything here. Thanks
Your bootloader is unlocked, or not?
Network lock will not able to fix by flashing simple rom
You need to spend few credits by chimera tool and get it unlock
You can flash a125w xas firmware on the u version so you can unlock bootloader then flash a125f firmware for your country after unlocked bootloader. This requires taking the phone apart and using test points for brom. I do not recommend any tools that force brom without test points bc it bricks it(personal experience with mtk meta tool)

Unlocking the bootloader and flashing different firmware does not automatically also network unlock the device. So this is very bad advice for the original poster

if the firmware is unlocked from factory then you can. For the states i use canadian xac firmware to unlock everything and it works great. No bloatware either. The a125u that i converted was locked to tmobile. Now i can use whatever.
Hi,
I have unlocked my rog 5s using official app.
I did some playing with roms and installed official firmware by flashing RAW firmware.
I have locked the device using below command.
fastboot oem asus-lock
Now that my phone is in unlocked Rog phone list, I am not getting any updates nor Asus Unlock app is working.
I want to unlock my phone again and install some GSI roms as I officially don't get any updates from ASUS.
Any help is appreciated........
Maybe by changing the device rom and fingerprint back to Chinese version and hoping that the unlock tool will pick it up as a good match - Guess being that your phone is a CH>WW convert and not an original Global/WW version from factory.
Re-locking converted devices is a bad idea. It's posted and warned about so many times in this forum by other CN device owners...
Maybe a stupid question. Is it possible to put another regions rom on the 908U? I was thinking about flashing the international rom to be able to unlock the bootloader, just checking if it's been tried before.
Not possible
