Hello I am really wanting to put a kernel on my phone but I just switched to an android phone from a iphone and it's so confusing to me. The kernel I want to install is the Hacker kernel. I have installed odin and i have downloaded the files but I don't know where to go from there. I mean... I tired to look for the .tar file in the zip I downloaded and it's no where to be found. I have the Galaxy s6 SM G920P sprint variant on 5.1.1 Lollipop. I don't even know how to flash :/ Please help me thanks in advanced

Zip files are meant to be flashed in twrp just like all custom roms and mods that you find.

I'm trying to install TWRP onto my Note 3.
Unfortunately you can no longer download goo manager. So I'm trying to use the Odin option, but i don't know what .tar file to use. I would list the site but I'm new to posting on XDA so i can't post websites, but if you know or have the .tar file pls message me.
My phone is a Samsung Note 3 US T-Mobile

Android Version: 4.4.2
If anyone can give me another method for getting TWRP on my phone or what .tar file to use, i would greatly appreciate it.

Hello i'm currentky havrme flash fire beta that chainfire released for testing, however im scated to test it because of it might brick it like mobike idin did, i only have one phone and it the Samsung GALAXY S4 SGH-M919 T-Mobile and i want a full stock version so itll update my bootloader and modem, how do i use this tool because i have no idea what to do?

I don't get dialog option to create a Odin flashable package when I click on flash firmware package. Is there something I need to do to get this option? I have the 910c and have some knowledge of flashing. By the way the option was there when I first opened it checking it out, but when I went to try flash firmware package it just goes to my SD card with no options. I have read a lot but haven't seen anybody else with this issue. Thanks any help would be greatful
I'm a US cellular customer, and I've seen there are a lot. There are no roms whats so ever for this device. I'm trying to make a TWRP flashable zip stock Odexed/Deodexed but I cannot get a working updater script for the SM-G920R4 (zeroflteusc) You have to use the Edge zerolteusc TWRP to even get touch, and touch is backwards. Unikernel is the only way to root, so if you're comfortable with not giving a crap about KNOX this is for you. I have a zip I can get uploaded. Is there anyone out there that can help? I feel so close but I'm stuck at this. I've also debloated it *a little I don't know whats safe to remove or not on the S6.

hi, i am from mexico sorry for my bad english , i need downgrade my g920r4 because no have baseband and icant active de service menu or diag mode my phone was update in ota mode and de version of boot rigt now is 3, any solution?

ok, Thanks for the replay. To be specific I need a custom rom for my samsung (SM-G920R4) because I need to flush using Twrp 2.8.7.0 but I could not find a custom rom for my specific rom. What happened was my I just bought my phone from a dude who I met on sell and buy viber group here in Ethiopia (big mistake I know) and it worked fine for a day or so and then I logged my google account. After that my phone run out of battery so I plugged it and turn my phone on and when I did this I got frp locked it just bootloops showing me "custom binary blocked by frp lock". I took it to some phone fix guy and he managed to turn the frp lock off but it need to be flush he and also I tried to flush it using stock firmware with odin but that didn't work so I saw on xda thread that some guy was able to fix the same issue as me by using custom rom here is the link to that thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/help-sw-rev-check-fail-device-3-binary-2-t3218678
But, I could not find a custom rom for my samsung model number SM-G920R4 us cellular, So I am begging this community of developers to save my phone if they have a custom rom for my model number? If the issue is you need a custom rom for that variant the op has then unfortunately you're out of luck, no one develops for that variant sadly.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Phone Boot Issue
Hi,
I'm new to XDA developers and pretty much a noob in Android related stuff, I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 with TWRP installed. Last week it went into a bootloop or something and wouldn't go past the "Samsung" screen. I wiped the caches but it didn't work, did a Factory reset but no good either, then used ODIN to install a Custom ROM in it but ODIN gave errors and that didn't work either. Basically, there was an error displayed in TWRP "No OS Installed. Are you sure you want to reboot?" I tried solving this following a Youtube tutorial. The guy flashed a Cyanogenmod in his phone using TWRP, I tried doing the same but TWRP gave an error " could not find meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary in the ZIP file" . I extracted that file on my PC and it had only an md5 file in it"
Well I've been searching the internet a lot but haven't been able to find any S6 (920-F) Custom ROM which has a ZIP file that contains The META-INF folder (I'm not sure what it does) but I'll be really grateful if someone sends me a download link for it.
Or if there's some other solution for a problem then please help me out.

Hello is anybody able to put together a cwm/twrp recovery together for me? The model of the phone is a SM-J100VPP it has a Spreadtrum Chipset I looked around and could only find one for the SM-J100H. I tried using Odin v3.0.9 to flash it but it failed presumably because it was incompatible.
The Reason I need this is because viper4android is not properly installing on my rom which is Lollipop 5.1.1 and i need to flash some things.
Sorry ahead of time if this is not where it belongs or I forgot to add something also thanks in advance for doing this.
EDIT: I'm still learning and made a mistake the chipset is acutally a Marvell ARMADA PXA1908.

Yeah so I got viper4android working now I made a silly mistake but would still like to request this.
If it helps any I've found a phone similar to this one(Galaxy Xcover 3) with the same chipset and a TWRP for it.

Do you mean that file I just download is a custume recovery for nasty J100VPP verizon (tuchwiz) lollipop 5.1.1
