Hey guys,
Need some help. I am using an app named "AppLock" that I am sure most of you will be aware of. It provides a video vault facility where you can save you personal/private videos in the vault and no one can access them without the password.
I have accidentally deleted all the videos from my video vault. My device is not rooted and I have no recovery software installed on my OnePlus One. :crying:
Any way I can get my videos back? Please let me know.

Hello All,
I currently have instant upload enabled on my phone which automatically uploads the photos I take to google plus. Apparently the app should upload your videos as well but for me it just skips them.
Has anyone got this working?
Proof the app should upload videos: http://i.imgur.com/AHMLl.png
All help is greatly appreciated!
Pretty sure it only does pictures. They'll probably change that soon. Thebsetting in the app says only photos as we'll, and no one will do videos because they can be huge. Want to cap your data plan cause the app was uploading views in the background.
Google only gives you 1gig spacenfor that stuff as well, which can be another concern.
This is just Google's equivalent to PhotoStream on iOS and Camera Roll synching on WP, since Google+ and its services is basically equivalent tibthe Social parts of Windows Live and Facebook.

Patched?
Didn't the patch it by removing uploads of videos?

I tried to download the secret video recorder pro app
After installing the app and just ran the app I got this message on my android phone saying anti piracy sending data to law enforcement.... before i knew it all my data has gone on my phone all messages pictures and downloads gone. what to do for recovery? any help
Um, where did you download it from ?
I'm guessing not Google Play ?
Google "recovering deleted data android" or something, that's what I'd be doing to try to find this out for you since I know there are ways but I'm only vaguely familiar with them and haven't needed them so I don't know them by heart but I do know how to Google.
Hi,
Recently for no particular reason, my image gallery now shows ALL of the picture in my phone. Thumbnails from reddit app, pics from my boot sequence, etc. I have a Bell SGH-I747M running the lastest CM11 snapshot (the june one). Now i searched on google and couldn't find anything that can fix the problem. I've uploaded some picture for you guys.

Try turning off Photos Sync, Picasa Sync and auto upload by Google +, Facebook and so on.
Turn off any photo syncing and after that make sure you delete the gallery cache.
Unfortunately, everything was already turned off. I turned it on then off again thinking that it was bugged, but nope. Folders are still there. When i delete them and quit the gallery app, they just come back again.

MediaScanner is not running correctly , thanks @It_ler for the hint. :highfive:
On some devices, connecting/disconnecting of the USB cable triggers the MediaScanner.
Here Rescan Media app from Play store to simply call the system's MediaScanner process.
If you don't want that the Gallery to show pics from special folders you can try to place a file called ".nomedia" into the folder(s).
Then trigger the media scanner again.
Thanks for your help but the app doesn't work (Crash right on startup), i tried other apps doing the same thing and all of them crash on startup or when i press the scan button. I'm not at home right now so i can't say much about the .nomedia trick. I think my root is just really ****ed up... I should unroot and start on a clean device. If you have any other possible solution feel free to post it!

I have an instagram like app in which I receive data from a server(imageUrl, username, about) and I store it in a cursorLoader and after that I take the data from the cursorLoader and put it in a RecyclerAdapter. The images are being loaded using the Volley library. I recently found out about the realm library. Should I use this instead of the cursorLoader ? I'm not even sure why I needed the cursor loader, but I implemented it and it's working. I think I only need to store the user once connected so it doesn't have to connect every time the app is called if he didn t disconnect. Which would be the best approach to make this app work smoothly. Which is the best way to keep some data displaying like the instagram/facebook feed once it was downloaded(even after the user killed the app and turned it on again). Could you give me any tips ?
