Lock/Unlock Apps

On my Mate 7 i can lock/unlock apps whit the fingerprint. I can't find this option on the Mate 8. Anybody knows works this on Mate 8 too?

That's nice, but can we lock the phonemanager ?
Everytime I use maps with me, and the app, camcard, All data is gone. I guess this is getting deleted by that phone manager.
Its deleting more than we wish.

see if u can properly configure the phone manager, i dont think it just randomly deletes stuff unless u tell it to...

I can't lock the Phonemanager. But I think this comes when you go in the Phone Manager and you do a "Systemoptimierung". Sorry, I don't know the English Word for this. Please try it...

Go to your applications find and run Phone Manager. On the second screen (slide) you'll find the App Lock option.

i forgot my applock password on huawei mate 8...how can i change the password??

If i lock the app. with phone manager, only the first time its asking me to enter the password to open the app. Next time it is opening without asking for a password. Please help.

This only happen while u still switch on screen. Next time u lock the phone, it will be asking fingerprint on the next u open the app.

Hello,
My mate 8 is not rooted and i am on the B320 Firmware.
I have a problem with this game.
Every day the game is going to load the 560Mb big .db file. My handy delets it every day.
What can i do.

In the Phone Manager there's an option to auto-delete data the phone thinks is superfluous.
In my case it deleted the photo thumbnails of my image-app on a daily basis as well. Very annoying. Try switching the auto-deletion off and see if this solves your issue :good:

I tried to install xposed framework in honor 6x, but its crashing every time while launching app.

You need a modified Version. If you are on 4.1 Use this one:

Can't Create, Move, and Modify Files in System Folder after updating to EMUI 9.1

Hi. I hace an P20 with EMUI 9.1.0.311, with latest Magisk.
After updating and rooting it, i can't create, move, and modify files in system folder.
I'm using root explorer.
I need to do that for activating native call recording.
Help needed. Thanks.

I haven't heard of an available exploit and the bootloader cannot be unlocked. 99.9% chance this is a hoax.

Would you pay to have someone connect to you pc to root your phone or change its region? Don't think so, I bet they take payment from a pc app and get your bank details etc. This has to be a scam, no one has been able to root or even get the bootloader unlocked.
