Please recommend adblock app

After using Mate 8 for days, I realized how much ad my AdBlock app on S4 had blocked in comparison. I start looking for alternative since there seems to be no easy way to root the phone yet.
Please recommend adblock apps for no root phone.

Its ez to root phone. use my guide for noobs. easy peasy

unlocking bootloader and flasing twrp recovery and root is very easy bro

easy once u know the specific steps, true

I can't do this at the moment. I max out my card buying the phone. I have to wait until next week even if I want to try this.
BTW, is 'Data wipe' necessary?

Not for all devieces. But if it dont work without... You have to do.
Its not a big deal you loose only the Themes and you can install them back easy.

Thank you for the reply. I would try without wipe first since I am rather lazy about reinstalling apps .

Adguard works really well without root. You have to buy a license, but it's well worth it to buy a lifetime license, as Android phones are getting more and more locked down and carrier versions often can't be rooted.

Block this! Less battery use than adguard, does the work allright. For me the easiest adblock app.

It is not available at the moment The dev website said that it got removed from Google play store.

You are right. However if you Google it, there are places you can find the apk file.
As far as I can judge it, Block This just works fine - even if discontinued on Google Play...

No, but if needed, I will root it. Can You advice an easy way to root (and after fixing maybe un-root?) the Mate 8?
EDIT: just checked (with ES file explorer: HwSystemManager.apk IS in system/private/HwSystemManager map, but PhoneManager does not show up on Android app list, and according to debloater com.huawei.systemmanager is "blocked" -and I cannot unblock it ("your device does not support block").
I have tried to install HwSystemManager apk, as found in system/ private; "app not installed" is the response. Is root the only solution to sort it out?
In the meanwhile did some reading: Chainfire or Kingroot is an option for easy rooting my Mate 8?

Need to root your phone 1st if you wanna install the apk..if you direct install i think its not working.

I can't change personal notification whatsapp after restore

Hi yesterday I did a full restore B560 with hardreset and I backup all the applications with huawei backup, now when I want to personalize my girlfriend sounds on whatsapp I can't, it allows me but it goes to the default sound after which is "Bongo" why?
So it let me change system sounds but not the ones That I Downloaded.
And also tapatalk doesn't show me push notifications anymore. I don't want to have to restart again everything.

I found out was memory permission, now let see tapatalk....
I don't want to setup all my settings again.

I'm not root.
Now cleanmaster is asking for permission from accessibility and it doesn't appear any button and in my friends phones it shows there so. This is crazy

Huawei mate 9 is not actually install an app unless I restart my phone. Help.

Playstore is not downloading an app. when I click install, it is keep showing the downloading progress and never installed the app.(as shown in the picture)

Do you get a Errorcode? Have you tried to delete the cache from Playstore, G-Apps and G-Apps Service?

Hey, this is an easy fix. In settings somewhere under security, you need to allow unknown sources. Enable that. Then reboot, or forceclose the app store and open it again.

That seems strange to me.
It should be possible to install from playstore with that option off.
That option is just for exceptional use. It's unsafe to have it on all the time.

I've had Huawei phones for years and this always fixes it. Your right that option shouldn't be on all the time... its not ideal. I leave the option on because I side-load a lot of apps. The problem seems to vanish once that option is checked though.

I have asked if you get a Errorcode when you waiting a little bit longer? Have you tried to delete the cache from Playstore, G-Apps and G-Apps Service? This have nothing to do with unknown sources. I think its a Google Account Problem. I had this problem on the P9 and i fixed it by clearing the cache of the Apps what i say. And sorry for my english. I hope you understand me.

Enable the unknown source download and then clear cache of google play store and then restart.
This way seems solve the problem that google play won't download bug.
It has been 2 days I haven't restart my phone, google play is still working. I will test it for several more days to confirm.

I didn't get any error sir.

No push notifications after Update to B380

IMPORTANT: Before rolling back to 131 in order to install b380, i did a Backup with the huawei backup app. After restoring the data on b380 i didnt get any notifications, which could be fixed by reinstalling the apps. So if any of you guys also want to install b380 using the rollback method, be aware that, at least for me BACKUPS FROM B360 CANNOT BE RESTORED ON B380 WITHOUT LOSING PUSH NOTIFICATIONS OF THE APPS!
After Updating to B380, I dont get push notifications anymore! I excluded all the apps i want pn from(twitter, wapp, tapatalk etc) of the "close after screenlock" option, but I still dont get push notifications:/
Does anybody has the same issue or know how to fix it?

Update: After reistalling tapatalk from the play store i get notifications again, reinstalled twitter and wapp as well, hope it works there too
Edit: Twitter notifications works as well
Seems like you dont get notifications when you restore a backup from b360 on b380

I have had this happen to me in the past and I fixed it by going into settings - apps - and then clearing the data and cache on whichever app is not receiving notifications.

I have a working solution)
If you using Google play servicies, you can even not touch the settings of the whatsapp and system, you can trust Google Cloud Messaging (aka Google push)! For that, you need to go to the Settings->Apps->Settings(the symbol of gear in the bottom)->Special access->Notification access, And mark the checkbox of "Android System".
After that, go to Phone Manager->Auto-launch then mark checkbox of whatsapp and after that go to->Secodary launch management-> Mark Whatsapp again.
After that whatsapp will recieve messages even if it had been force closed! (proved)
In my case, I used kangvip B391 (chinese ROM), deleted native Gapps and install microG (not nessesary, I just dont need other Google services: you can use native Google play servicies), and even with that Google push is working well! Enjoy your Phone!
