I've been eyeing up the black folio case for a while and went to buy it, and noticed on the Google store it says that the black model is no longer on sale. I bought one of the adopted cases from eBay for something like $13, I was wondering if anyone knows about how and where to still get a Nexus folio? I can't find any on eBay, or anywhere else for that matter
The Folio case has a critical design flaw that is known to actually damage user's phones when it is removed. Therefor it is no longer on sale. They might introduce a revised model later.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any cases like this available yet or if anybody is making a case like this? My friend has some cases like this for his Iphone and they are reall good at protecting the phone.

Those are cool. I'd like to see something for the N1 that made by Speck, like these:
http://www.speckproducts.com/products/candyshell/iphone-3g-iphone-3gs/162
Had one for my iPhone 3G and it was PERFECT.
Best iPhone case I used was the incase slider - wish there were cases like that for the N1. Seidio Innocase II is somewhat similar, but the cutouts could be a bit better. Also, quite expensive trying to buy the case and getting it delivered to Aus.
Nice looking cases in the links...we definately need more case selections than just Seidio!
I've e-mailed both companies, Switcheasy said they are only doing Apple products right now but who knows what the future will hold, and case mate hasnt gotten back to me yet. Hopefully one of them starts or maybe a different company will.
I think I recall reading in another thread that Case-mate are going to start manufacturing Naked cases. They already have Clear Armour for the N1.
I emailed Speck and they said to basically monitor the website for new products.
It was a canned response. :-(
Hi,
I need a tough case (curse you Otterbox!) for my Nexus 4 as I will have junior staff using my phone like it's their own. I have seen some cases on ebay that are eligible for shipping to Australia, but they really don't look all that great.
I know finding something as good as an Otterbox, probably wont happen, but maybe something ALMOST as good? Maybe even with a cheaper price tag???
Found this on ebay after looking for something substantial myself, just so happens it comes from the land of Aus. http://r.ebay.com/7lVFKi
I haven't received it yet as I am in the UK and shipping will probably take a while, but it looks pretty sturdy from the images. Also, I made an offer of $11.50 (AU) for 1 and the seller accepted, so it's worth making an offer of that or less.

Hi, yes I have seen those before. I was told by another Nexus owner who bought tis case, that the stand makes it a very bulky case. Also the hard plastic on the outside seems to make the phone slippery. He would've preferred plastic inside, silicone outside.
But as I can't find anything else, I think I'll get this one for the time being. (Until Otterbox changes their mind. Yeah right!).
Thanks :good:

How about these?

I'm also bummed that OtterBox didn't do a Commuter for the N4. The GNex one I have is amazing!
That Seidio one looks good, but the price is exxy. However, Otterbox will cost more ofcourse. A shame I can't get the red or blue one in Australia. I can get them via the official site ofcourse, but it will cost me a whopping 63 bucks lol. I can find the black one on pre-order at an Aussie online shop for $38,- though.
I just noticed that the Nexus are back in stock in Australia again today. As well as in France and Spain (those 2 countries sold out within 10 minutes again on the 31st). So it looks like Google has sorted out stock issues. Maybe this means Otterbox might start considering making a case seeing more Nexus 4's are now available for purchase.
I got this case http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-Nexus...ies&hash=item53f44d48f2&_uhb=1#ht_2855wt_1133 from another seller (paid a bit more) but it got to Australia in under 2 weeks. This case is awesome for the price! The only problem is the cut out for the proximity sensor is too small and blocks the sensor when in calls. Easily fixed with a drill bit though Was going to buy the ballistic sg case, but for a cheaper price, i'm happier with this. (I have had a ballistic sg on a galaxy s3 and it was awesome) I still prefer this case. More colour options too. You can even get one that looks like a beer if you're into that.
How about we start a thread to document people selling fake Spigen cases
I bought a Slim Armor case from eBay here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161020953613?
After having some issues with it I did some research and determined it was a fake based on the following:
It did not arrive in original packaging
It did not include the jellybean button stickers
It included a screen protector (the original case packaging does not)
The font on the case and shape of volume and power button differs from the original
Fit of the phone was tighter than as described in reviews of real cases
Finally, and most importantly, the Spigen serial number tag to verify authenticity was not included
I will upload pictures later today.
Anybody else get suckered?
lol 54 sold and not everyone complained it was fake.
hmm... I guess those peeps don't check it well or just not that anal.
sucks though 17.99 for fake or 24.99 for real.
sounds like that was a bad deal to me.
should report to ebay that the seller is selling counterfeit products.
I bought a fake NEO Hybrid and its just about perfect. For 1/2 the price of a genuine its good enough for me.

best201202 was the seller
all of the above checked, in addition to that, when the cases came all of the package shattered cause it was mailed in a barely protected envelope.
Asked for full refund, only offered PARTIAL ONLY if I was to put positive feedback. - feedback extortion
I refused ... the seller has cut off communication.
BUYERS BEWARE.
A few devices back I tried a wallet case for the first time. Most wallet cases I have tried are similar to a standard flip case with the exception of a few pockets to place cards in. Then there are the cases that hide the cards inside of them. The issue with both of this is extremely limited space when trying to completely get rid of the wallet. Anyways, a few days before I pre-ordered my device I looked at cases. I came across 2 wallet cases that I liked. I was only going to order the second case below, but after I did I showed my wife and she told me "It looks girly." So I ordered the first case below as well. So now I have 2 wallet cases on the way. They appear to be similar with the exception that one uses a battery to hold the device and the other uses a pocket that you slide the case on the phone into. Here are the links encase anyone else wants to order one.
1) Multi-function Genuine Zipper Wallet Leather Case Cover For Samsung Galaxy Note 7
2) Multi-function Wallet Detachable ID CARD Cover Case For Samsung Galaxy Note 7
I did order both in black. Just encase you are curious.
I loved my cheapo wallet case for my ZF2, now I have a ZF3, and would like to find a good wallet case for it. The one I bought off amazon was truly a POS, and haven't really found any other ones.
Anybody run across anything?

Not sure if you are really looking for the "wallet" part, or more just a slim flip cover, it appears ASUS sells a sview like flip cover that looks pretty nice.
"ZenFone-3-Deluxe-View-Flip-Cover-ZS570KL" (can't post links yet)
This is a real nice device, need a replacement for my Note 3, but can't risk spending $500 on a device that might not see root or any development.
