[Q] prl update for page plus on alltel htc hero cdma

Hi. I've found this site to be very helpful in my attempts to activate an Alltel HTC Hero cdma on the Page Plus network.
I finally got the phone to make calls, but it says that I'm roaming - there's a triangle above the signal strength meter. I checked it by making a call and it charges me the roaming rate of $0.29 a minute. I think I need an updated .prl file, but I'm not sure.
I'm able to send and receive text. I cannot send or receive MMS or connect to the internet.

Phone will be used in Berlin, WI 54923 (Near the following cities: Appleton, Oshkosh, Neenah, Fond du Lac)
Original phone details:
Alltel network, but Alltel is no longer in my area. Alltel customers were sent to Element One. I don't know if this affects what I'm trying to do.

MSID (MIN) 9202900444
SIN/NID 1/65535
MMS Server url mms.alltel.com/servlets/mms
I rooted the phone and got my MSL (000000) number and made the following changes
Phone # (MDN) 920xxxxxxx
MSID (MIN) 9202799238 (from Page Plus)
SIN/NID 240/65535 (got "240" from Page Plus, they couldn't give me a NID number so I used the same one)
MMS Server url mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms (got this from searching on forums)
I downloaded a .prl file via KittyWireless manual programming instructions kittywireless.com/pageplus/pageplusmanualprogramming.html
I updated the PRL from my sd card by dailing ##775# and "commit changes"
When I make a call, I'm always asked to re-enter the 10 digit phone number I'm trying to reach. I've tried the following OTA programming numbers *228, *22800, *22888, *22890, *22891. I always get the following "Message AP 32 Welcome to US Cellular ..." It should be Verizon or Alltel, right?
I thought I might be using the wrong NID number so I tried 65335 (which I think is for Verizon), but it didn't make a difference. Still roaming and same messages when I try OTA programming.
I don't know if this means anything, but when I dial ##DATA# to edit mode I can choose either Data Profile, EVDO, or Advanced. If I choose EVDO, I get a blank screen. I can't make any changes.
So, I'm thinking I need a different prl file. Would this affect my data connection for internet and MMS too? What do you guys think? Can someone direct me to the right PRL file?
I've spent hours trying to get this phone to work... if you have any suggestions let me know.

I've found the following PRLs useful when using Sprint Phones on Pageplus, so perhaps they will help with the Alltel Hero. I've used 51425m on my Alltel Hero on Pageplus. Worked like a charm. The 52505m is the latest VZW EvDo PRL.
Noticed the thread is old, but may help anyone else trying to do this.

Ive been trying to get 3g data working with my Nexus S on Pageplus.
All I can get is either a good 1X data connection or a slow, intermittent 3g connection.
I will try these PRL's when I get home.

nexus s 4g flash to metro pcs texts work but calls dont help !!! please and thank you

ok so heres the problem i can text and receive texts but no calls it calls to verizon if i dial 611 and they say they cant route my call and im always roaming and if i take it off automatic set it to home only i get no signal whatsoever i flashed sprint nexus s 4g to metro pcs so i dont get it any help would me much appreciated
im on jb 4.1.1 codname 3.6.0 rom
heres what my status in settings under about phone says
network : analog b
signal strength : -96dbm 1 asu
mobile network type : CDMA - 1xrtt:7
service state : in service
roaming : roaming
mobile network state : disconnected
my phone number : is in there correct from my current metro phone 978 *** ****
msid : again is also correct from my current metro phone im using
prl version : p:03029 (also tried 3030 and 3031 no luck )
meid : also correct meid i flashed it from my current metro phone
again i dont get why it wont work the signal stays grey and just is roaming and it lets me send texts but no calls now text just stopped working out of nowhere i have no idea whats wrong but i just need help im not a noob so it wont be a hassle to explain anything somebody just please help thank you

Someone help I used a donar phone what do I need to do im stuck on roaming I can text but no calls could it be my nv items ? And what settings do I use in qpst for metro to get call and text working

[Completed] [Q] A T&T Lg G2 &Samsung S5 both unlocked, no Telephone nor text

I have bought two phones from the same person with the same story for both phones; The story goes that ATT could not provide good reception at his home with these phones and replaced them with new ones. He sold me the old ones. Neither are on the blacklist, and now both are unlocked. Neither telephone not texting work on Tmobile, However, both work on Att at Att regional fix it place. T-mobilre states that it is an issue with Att, LG states that the phones are fine.
I recieve these error messages:
LG G2...Upon entering 2945#*800# gets a 5 option menu for sim unlocking, all of which return the message "Your phone is not persaonalized"
.....3845#*800#accesses the hidden menu. yielding: firmware 4.2.2, APN Delete states that there is nothing to delete, RMnet auto connect Mode is Off; RF call info yields calibration status OK; Call Test, Auto call test yields Not implementation: Modem Settings, LTE Band Selection lists Bands 1-5,7,8,17,and 20. All of which when checked result in FAIL.
In Modem Settings, In LTE-A CA setting, There are 3 "buttons" titledCA Enable / SupportedBandO?(it runs off the line) listing all-enable,Pcell B4 Scell B17, and Pcell B2 Scell B17,Pcell B177 Scell B2, and the other two "buttons" CA Disable / Rel. 10, and Rel. 9. For whatever that means.?
I ran a bug report that resulted in a 1,457 page document(5.9mb), not attached, as it is way too big. If you were to run a word search on telephony, it might tell someone more knowledgeable than me what is wrong with this phone. If you need to see it I will post it to box and give you access to it. If there is any more information that is needed, I will gladly provide it.
I've read this forum for about a month on this issue, and am probably stumped because I am beyond my level of understanding here.
Whatever suggestions you have would be appreciated.
PS, the phones work in every other way that we have tried.

Please Review Att to Tmobile lg g2
Understand that Phone may or may not be unlocked. But you need correct APNs to make Data and MMS Work. You need SIM unlocked to get a Signal with T-Mo Sim. Same with your other phone the S5. Please review SM-G900T on AT&T MMS problem
Please post on the respective threads if you continue to have issues.

Thanks, I tried to set up the APN again, but still get kicked back to the mobile network folder when it tries to connect automatically...I can not connect to the network, it doesn't get that far, it keeps putting me back two folders back.. If this is the wrong thread, Please direct me to the correct one. I read the thread that you referenced above, but my phone won't get that far in the process, and therefore that thread does not go deep enough. Am I missing siomething else?
I will check on the Sim unlocked issue, mine would be locked.

[Completed] boost mobile 4G APNs

Hello,
I have searched everywhere and haven't been able to find the boost mobile APNs to make my phone properly work on 4G LTE. If anybody has the correct APNs please send me a message with them. Thank you

I found this thread about boost mobile APN settings: [Q] APN help Boost Mobile.
No details in there.
Maybe you have to ask the carrier (or search it's web site) to get more details.
