Is your phone a Moto G? A google search turns up 'XT1029' as a Moto G with LTE - but that model does not exist. Perhaps a typo for XT1039?
All known Models (and Firmware Images) are listed here:

What version of android are you on? You might have to reflash your modem. Also do you have retail india, asia, or brazil? And you will need a custom recovery for this.
Download this file:
Asia: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/05b8b0b696/1033_Retail_Asia_340.63.00R.zip
Brazil: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/79269cb621/1033_Retail_Brazil_355.66.00R.zip
India: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/b4bba0ad34/1033_Retail_India_DS_355.66.00R.zip
Then just flash the zip with your custom recovery.
CM 11 4.4.2 and sorry for this question but how do I find what retrail I have? Flashing one of those will fix it?

Thanks. I'm yet another victim of this issue.
Will try this and let you know later.
Also, if it doesn't work, will simply flashing the Stock ROM via fastboot fix it?

Theres also different countries available btw. And stock "rom" is different from stock "firmware". Roms do not consist of modems, bootloader, and recovery images. So maybe flashing stock firmware will work
can you give me a link with the firmware for my XT1033 please? also, if I did like in the video from the first post and converted it to single sim what should I flash? is it now considered an XT1032 or what? thanks for the help!

Hello!
I have a Moto G 1 gen...so i started reading here about roms and rooting etc...
I already played a lot with my other Android devices adn other roms, but here, i don't know which files would be for my phone...
And i really don't want to brick it, because it is so super duper difficult to get this phone working with my phone company.
It reports this:
Android 5.1
Baseband version MSM8626BP_1032.3116.98.00R vzw_cust
Kernel version 3.4.42-ge27f578 [email protected]#1
System version 221.26.7.falcon_cdma.Verizon.en.us
Build number LPB23.13.33.7
My Plan is to root it, and place a boot animation on it and a optimized rom with or without different kernel
I am afraid of ruining my cdma function, cause i read, that the Cyanogens had problme with that....so optimized stock rom maybe?
And so on...
Hope someone has the time and patience to give some key advice...
Thx in advance...
You are the proud owner of an XT1028 Moto G. Optimized Verizon US Stock 5.1 ROM is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3017510 (Unlocked Bootloader required)
Don't ask me about unlocking, there are numerous threads on the subject - use search keywords: verizon us xt1028 Bootloader unlock
I am curious...
How did you determine the Model number?!
Not that i think it is wrong...just want to learn...

Your system version includes the phrases 'Verizon' and 'US' - there is only one model it can be.

What is the exact model number of the device? What you posted does not necessarily reflect the true model number. I'm having trouble finding anything about xt1941 or xt 1941-4

The Model is : Motorola One XT1941-4
Europe Only..... in Asia it´s named : P30 Play
The Motorola One (P30 Play) has 5 models and variants. Generally the variants are the same device models with some different features and specifications, as the amount of internal storage, processor or just 3G/4G frequencies that may be different depending on the country where the Motorola One (P30 Play) is sold.

I'm finding this:
https://www.getdroidtips.com/motorola-p30-play-stock-firmware-collections/
But it's only the 1941-2, not 1941-4 like you have. Maybe something there can be used as-is depending on whether there are any differences between 1941-2 and 1941-4 or maybe something there can be used with a little modification. The stock firmware file is on this page in the section "Motorola P30 Play Software Update"
You may want to create a thread in the forum linked below and post your questions and what you've found so far, maybe someone there can help you figure something out using the stuff in the link that I posted above.
