Gcam for Realms 5

This post is created to share the experience of using Gcam Mod on Realme 5. Mostly the versions of BSG for Mi8 or Poco F1 are also supported on our device, which is a good news. I have tried many of them and found that the version linked https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-80wps_h1Zg_e1ar7O3B3gu0xY_FMp2S/view?usp=drivesdk is working best for me.Almost everything is working. Kindly try the same and also other versions if you can from here https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/ give suggestions for the best stable Gcam version for our device. Kindly also share some samples in the link https://photos.app.goo.gl/qbk8cws4MbHL3SSi9 for others.
PS: - I have uploaded 4 photos 2 with phone camera 2 with Gcam mod using night sight and the difference is obvious as seen in the photos

What doesn't work ( At least for me ) :
You cant use wide agle and macro lense.
60 fps video recording ( Refords 30 fps ).
Thaks for sharing this! HDR+ works wonderful!
Portrait mode Edge detection is horrible sometimes.
I wish 60 fps video recording would be supported.
Does anyone know a video recorder app that can record 60 fps on realme 5?

Hardware is not the same, I was under the same perception in A5 2020 and A9 2020
Even in A5 2020, there are two different suppliers of sensors depending upon region. Lower end version (CPH-1933) use 12MP sensor from Omnivision and higher end use Sony or Samsung (I don't remember exactly, but the exact sensor models are listed in a system xml file) 12MP sensor. (Sony IMX 386 I think while 2MP sensors are samsung's)

7.3 partially working
installed and tested the MGC_7.3.020_RPII_v0f
- features working:
* taking photos in max resolution
* night mode
* videos in 30 or 60 fps
* portrait mode
- features not working:
* Shortcut to play videos does not work, playing from DCIM is totally fine though
* Slow motion does not respond and saves glitchy footage
* does not use the other lenses
So, that was my experience on that version

How to record video with x5 zoom camera?

Hello,
I just bought the Mi Note 10 because I thought it could record x5 zoom video with the x5 camera. But it is using the x2 camera and it is low quality. Do you know how to use the x5 camera to record video? I'm using MUI 11.0.13 on Android 9.

I found the answer. Using this modded Open Camera is possible https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81870041&postcount=15
It is using org.codeaurora.snapcam package, if you have some GCam installed you may have problems to install the modded Open Camera and you will have to uninstall the GCam.
I've read that in .eu Rom is also possible with the stock camera, but I didn't test it.

This is for exynos but m32 has helio g80 ,this will not work on m32 device, please suggest another gcam

Pixel 7 pro over sharpens the images taken via portrait mode and in normal lense too. Any solution or mod Gcam is available?
