How to root elephone P6000? - Miscellaneous Android Development

So I'm using Elephone P6000 (Aka Just5 Blaster2 as named in Latvia).
I searched many places couldn't find anything.
Tried to open bootloader via fastboot but "fastboot oem unlock" or "fastboot flashing unlock" doesn't work and shows me error
"FAILED (Remote: Unknown command)" But the second option was mentioned on help. Also I didn' t found oem unlock option in dev options.
So post any ways how to root.
Ps My android version is 5.0

Just install SuperSU from Play Store and let it update binary. The phone i factory bootloader unlocked and prerooted.

It can't download su binary because of android 5

It has nothing to do with lollipop, how do you try to do that?

It shows: There is no su binary and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!
If you just installed android 5 you have to re root.
It said something like that.

Ok, I didn't have that problem.
Have you tried with Kingroot.

Yes, I tried every app. Can't you tell how to do it manually or at least help me with the problem I can; t flash custom recovery.
It shows that I have flashed it but I still have old stock recovery. I used fastboot.

Use SP Flash Tools to flash custom recovery. You can find TWRP recovery on needrom site, and you have a lot of tutorials how to use SP Flash Tools.

It doesn't work. I turned phone off and on and still just stands still and does nothing.
In which mode I have to turn phone on?
I used stock ROM text and carliv recovery to flash.

To use Flash Tool you need to turn of the phone, remove the battery, press download button in tool and then connect your phone, not turning it on. I got an error trying to flash recovery with Flash Tool, but it's not a real error, phone simply disconnected from PC before it checks if the flash was successful.

Nothings happens Just shows "Super Phone flash tool(Runtime trace mode).
I did everything I need, connected via usb with no battery in phone.
I have phone normal and adb drivers. Meh.

Have you even red some tutorial how to use SP Flash Tool?
Try with tool and tutorial from here:
http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-1037-1-1.html#.Vryb6fIrK01
As I told you, you need to start Flash tool, select rom to flash (scatter file), in your case to deselect all partitions, select custom recovery, click on download and then to connect phone to PC. It's all written in tutorial, all you need is to read.

I have the same problem, this phone seems to be unrootable and without the possibility to flash a costum recovery, help me please,MMI TEST on the device appears everytime I reboot phone and I launch an app so I want costum recovery to manually root and remove this system app,HELP PLEASE.

Custom recovery flashing and rooting your phone are advanced user activities, if you can't learn how to use SP Flash Tool you shouldn't try to do it.

After rooting my phone and then again factory resetting it, I cannot access my phone?

I rooted my phone using kingroot and after that to gain some extra space started deleting files. In that course I deleted apps like webview and keyboard too was deleted automatically. After getting annoyed by this kind of problem I took a decision to "reset factory settings". When my phone got reset those missing files were still not there. So after selecting my language when I tried to connect to my Wifi then the keyboard didn't load. I removed the password of the wifi then also it would not move an inch further i.e. it wont connect to network. So,I am kind of stuck her. Cant flash Rom because USB Debugging and OEM are not enabled.
Is there any way out?
Help.

Goto website www.firmwarefile.com
Select Your Phone
Download file Version 1
Extract using 7zip
Install drivers and ets tool.
Read instructions in readme.txt
Flash using ets tool.
Done
Don't root again with Kingoroot
Use adb commands for unlocking bootloader (Note: unlocking bootloader is a necessary step) and install custom recovery ex. Twrp
Flash SuperSU.zip ( download it from official website)
Now your phone is rooted properly.
You can flash kernel, roms, modules etc through twrp.
See XDA for full rooting guidelines
Hit thanks if you resolved it with this way.
A problem in this method.

Okay so what problem I am facing is that I don't have my USB debugging on and I also can't switch it on because I can't enter settings bypassing the staring screen. And I can bypass them because I dont have webview& keyboard apps installed.
Is there any method in which there is no need to switch any thing on from the phone.
And yes my laptop is connecting to my phone. I made that sure.
I also did fastboot but under adb devices my device is not listed.

Your device must be shown in device manager. Make sure it is in device manager. Try to install adb drivers from another site.
See device manager and tell me when you connects your device what happens ( Your device shown as )
I send you guide for flashing stock ROM in your phone.
First download and then install all drivers without attaching phone.
If not done try to remove all older installations and then again install drivers from given Firmware folder.
I checked it when I install drivers it shows potential harmful for my PC on windows 7.
Then click it install anyways
After 2-3 retires drivers installed properly.

no Scatter included use Fastboot, or You can take scatter from ROM.
Ok but where is the recovery image file to flash via SP Flash Tools? I only see an exe-file saying "flash recovery" and a 12.6MB file called "rk" but it's shown me as a mp4-file
it worked!!! Thank yoU!! @gasperoni, just start "Flash Recovery.exe" and do what is written in the window. It's really easy.
i have include a Script which have ability to unlock bootloader and then flash twrp, if you flash with SP flash tool your Device not bootup because bootloader is Loacked. so Simply use Given Instruction Not SP flash.
any custom ROM
non yet
hm..i install twrp with your "flash recovery.exe", my phone reboots, i have to press "volume up" to unlock my bootloader. then trwp starts.
until here everything works fine. But when i am installing Superuser and restart my phone, it writes sth like "orange mode, your phone is untrusted" and just boots into twrp, touchscreen isnt working. So i have to flash it again, but i didnt achieve twrp of course :S

Same result here. But how did you get the factory rom to flash on the phone? I first got some checksum error and had to find a checksum generator and now the silly multiport flash software says:
" Warning maybe error as follows: 1 com port number repetitive or invalid 2 brom and preloader have the same comport number! Please modify them in INI file or scan again."
I think i did everything correctly (installed the drivers and stuff as it says on the ulefone download page) but i haven't flashed any mediatek devices in a long time and i would be very thankful if someone can tell me what i'm doing wrong. I don't mind it getting bricked as i know that is always a risk with mediatek, but i do need to be able to flash the stock rom.

I had also issues using the flash tool provided on the Ulefone website, the same as you say (with the checksum). None of checksum-generating software worked for me, so I was searching long for an alternative and found this flash tool: https://spflashtool.com/. Using this tool, flashing worked for me perfectly even without having to bother with checksums.
Good luck!

On another note... anyone know if there is source code for the power 2 to be found somewhere or did the dev just port another recovery somehow? I tried a while back just porting twrp by swapping files but i couldn't get the image to repack with the kitchen tool so i gave up.

When I run CMD command (fastboot flash oem info) it shows everything but the recovery.img system.img and boot.img need verification how can I verify them without the debugging bridge active on the phone.

Bricked Ulefone Armor 8 Pro

Hi everyone, I tried to flash a patched Magisk boot image on my Ulefone Armor 8 Pro via fastboot but the device is now stuck in bootloop. I have already read some threads about trying to flash the stock firmware using the proprietary SP Flash Tool, but the phone doesn't remain in download mode for more than a few seconds. I can't even boot in recovery/fastboot mode again to try to flash the stock boot image since the phone just keeps rebooting. If someone could give me a hint it would be really appreciated.

You need write the model of device.
Currently I know of 3 models: 4GB RAM(Armor 8); 6&8GB RAM(Armor 8 Pro).
So with the correct stock ROM you can flash the device.
To use SPFT you need to specify which OS you have: Linux; Win7_8_10; other
This is to know if you actually installed the USB MTK drivers correctly and if further action is needed.
Also, write if you have the device with the bootloader locked or unlocked.
I have the 6GB RAM and have downloaded a time ago the GQ3090RH3_KSX70H_Ulefone_20210902_V01(Non-EU).zip file aka stock ROM. That's aka Non_EEA model. In the Ulefone site have SP_MDT_exe_v3.2048.02.00(Client).zip aka flash tool.
You used that tool?
Thanks for the reply. I have the model with 6GB of RAM as well and I am currently trying to recover my phone by using Windows 11 in a virtual machine. The bootloader is unlocked and I tried to flash the EU version of the stock ROM (GQ3090RH3_KSX70H_Ulefone_EEA_20210902_V01(EU).zip) by using SP_MDT_exe_v3.2048.02.00(Client).zip (after installing the required drivers), but as I have already specified I can't boot in download mode for more than a few seconds. My computer recognises the device as "MediaTek MT65xx Preloader" but the phone immediately reboots and I am not able to flash the stock ROM.

Win11 is not good to use SP tool.
Maybe using Win10?!
"MediaTek MT65xx Preloader" is normal but need installing drivers correctly. You can try this: Driver_Auto_Installer_EXE_v5.1632.00.zip - 8.8MB
Reboot VM and try with the device turned off!
For using SPFT or SP_MDT your device not need in the bootloader mode. Device turned off - conect USB - look about USB PORT COM - Scan - Start All
If you not know how to do so Read Upgrade software guide for factory assembly line.pdf
Here file and more about: Upgrade tools and USB driver - Armor 8 Pro

UP: Maybe SP need more than you know.
I used the SPFT and worked good to me with Win10.
May be SPFT can help more than SP: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.2124_Win
For using SPFT your device not need in the bootloader mode. Device turned off - open sxcatter file - look for Download Only option (NOT use FORMAT+....!!!!) - now with the device turned off conect USB - press DOWNLOAD (Ctrl + D).
Well, you saved my phone. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate that. I installed Windows 10 and the drivers you linked me and via SP Flash Tool I managed to flash the stock ROM after connecting the device with a USB cable. Thanks again.
How do I get this phone into download mode? Cannot seem to get it to flash
I've followed your tips but I cannot get the phone recognized by the flash tool.
I've collected full details here: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/248035/bootloop-in-ulefone-armor-8-pro
Can SPFT be used with Linux?

Can a "Hard-bricked" android phone be restored if there's still access to Download mode?

I accidentally installed the wrong ROM on my phone, and now it's unresponsive (nothing happens when I try to turn it on, not even a vibration)
But I managed to access Download Mode (aka EDL, right?).
Can I restore it if I have the Scatter file and the Stock ROM?
Thanks in advance
MediaTek devices have preloader mode, EDL mode is for Qualcomm
Not sure what device you're talking about, but try to look for an "unbrick tool" or an "unbrick guide"
I "semi hard-bricked" my OnePlus 3T a while ago, and there was this leaked Qualcomm tool that you could use to flash the factory ROM the phone came with from Download Mode.

Does the fact that I can communicate and flash via Download Mode (SP Flash Tool) mean that I didn't lose my preloader? I'm kinda stuck trying to flash the Stock ROM (demanding verified image files, even though I'm using the original firmware for flashing... probably)

I'll check the guides online, hopefully I'll find one that'll help.

I've also had issues previously with trying to flash stock images on Samsung phones. Not sure if you have country-specific images, if you do, try giving all of them a shot. I'm from Hungary, and a locally bought Samsung phone only came to life after flashing a Spanish factory image.
you need to (by)pass SLA/DAA authentication
Now I managed to bypass protection, and got the successful flash message from SP Flash Tool.
But I still can't solve the issue (Phone still only responsive from BROM)
For reference I'm using the global version of RMX3171 (Realme Narzo 30A) based on MT6768, and the Stock ROM is available online.
I flashed every partition (Provided in the Stock ROM), and Now it is booting, showing the logo + a message "Download not completed Error Code 0x992566 " and then it reboots after a minute or so -_-
I think that means you did not flash all partitions (some not included in Download)
In the other thread someone mentioned "Format All + Download" very bad idea never do this.
did you try unlocking bootloader from mtkclient like suggested in that thread?

Hello,
Can someone share their nvdata & nvram + oppo_custom?
I seem to have formatted mine, and need them to recover my Narzo 30A.

I came across the tool, but I failed to enter into Meta Mode.
I'm trying to make my phone boot to the system, then I'll try restoring my IMEI's using MTK Engineering app.
Thanks for links though

There is no such thing as a "hard bricked" device that can still boot into TWRP. A hard bricked device is completely dead and shows no kind of activity or function. It won't charge, it won't boot into any kind of mode and can't make a connection to PC, makes no sound when connecting to PC and it won't appear in device manager when connected to PC.
A device that can boot into download mode but not its other modes is just a softbricked device.
