I found this trick on galaxy note 2 thread, might be necessary for someone
Just go to system/csc and edit the feature.xml or other.xml file by adding these code:
<CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>en_US</CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>

you change the language code with your current language. set to permission rw-r--r-- after editing. then reboot
works on my superbean v1.3.1

Any idea how to add 3rd row of symbols (3/3- Smileys)? Like how it was in ICS

use ur rooted phone use x-plore go to system/csc look for features.xml n open wif edit
then add to the bottom n save it then do a reboot ！
for DXLSE u can paste it any where for me i'll paste it from the bottom.

There isn't any features.xml in my csc folder. As stated in the OP, if there isn't any features.xml, have to edit others.xml. Tried that and it does not work. :laugh:

It won't work on others.xml
But funny things is just work in feature.xml
U can create feature.xml by ur self or find one in the OP

I still use it on my GT-I9295 int version, theme v been flashed for 3 min, without any notify after reboot n it works perfect..i dont know what to say

if your rom is odex- always odex version, if it deodex- use deodex version
i have odex rom, so i used odex version.

if it was new from the box and u use stock baseband or updated it by ota or kies- it is odex, it can be deodex if u flash custom

[Request] Need help to deodex the new SamsungChineseIME 7.0

Hi all,
I extracted the latest SamsungChineseIME 7.0 from the HK 4.4.2 firmware N9005ZHUENB5.
I struggled for hours in playing around the apktool and command but failed to get it deodexed. (handicap me....:crying
I will be very grateful if someone can help to deodex them.

I used kitchen to deodex NB5 firmware for HONG KONG, the only app left odex is keyboard. Tried several time no luck.

Here you go , the different apps between NB5 and NB7 so the Chinese Keyboard will work (don't know if all files are needed , don't feel like testing), extract it, drop it - you know the drill.

REQUIRE A ROOTED SM-N900 WITH DEODEXED ROM
May work on other models...systemUI and framework.res may not work..make nandroid backup before trying.
Always Make Nandroid Before Trying Anything On Your Device.
If You Dont Like Anything...Just Flash The Reset Zip

I have modded
1-SystemUI,
2-SamsungCamera2,
3-Framework-res,
4-QuickMemo-cover,
5-SecMMScandy.
I have done nothing special...all credit goes to @tkari4 for his guides on making multidpi apps. All i have done is modding lollipop apks based on his guides on kitkat apks.

1-Decompile and go to values-sw360dp-xxhdpi folder
2-Edit dimens.xml in notepad++
3-change the lines with following

4- Save and recompile.
SecContactsPhone_os.apk is getting corrupt after recompiling...so if anyone can make it work...just decompile and recompile with no changes...and inform me via PM. I will send modded layouts and dimens.xml to mod the apk.
Issues:-
1-Favourite contact list is not multidpi bcoz it depends on SecContactsPhone_OS.apk
These all are individual apk dependent...but they wont give any bad appearance altogether.
2-Also to keep in mind is that all systemUI tweaks will be gone after replacing the systemUI.apk

It's mine Bro. ..You can check it...your's is for n9005...it wasn't working on n900 so I modded mine. And your launcher works perfectly on n900. I also tried modding SecContactsPhone_os.apk but it always got corrupted after recompiling. Did u get any success with it? I can help u with it if u can recompile it successfully and the app works. I have got all layouts and dimens.xml fixed but just can't get it working. Searched many threads...think it's a universal problem with SecContactsPhone_os.apk.

Rom should be deodexed...or to use these files...first remove the odex files of respective apk from your system.
Stock rom is odexed...so first you have to remove the odex files of the apks.

Where can I find these files?

All apps updated today for latest base BO2...this time combined all apks into flashable zip. Just delete in winrar the apps you dont want.

Just a little suggestion about "SecContactsPhone". First decompile the apk and make the changes of dimens.xml and after that take the original apk (untouched) and open it with 7-zip and copy the modded files to their right directions.
See the attached picture. It's 400 dpi.

Hey man, can you make an s view cover on 320 dpi.?I have a note 3. When I change dpi from 480 to 320 dpi background is too small. Before I had a kit kat rom with an xposed module called app settings, there was an apk called s view cover apk and I can change dpi for this apk. Today I have a tw lollypop rom 5.0, xposed doesn't works, there is not s view cover apk and I can not find any solution for change dpi of background's s view. Can I help me? Thanks and best regards.

Download Dr.Ketan's L21 rom. I have made the mod for his rom...will work perfectly on his rom. I haven't made a version for other rom as of yet. So download L21 and my mod from L21 download post.

What would be nice is a list of the files in the services.jar.out smali that contain the line
Ljava/lang/String;->clear()V
instead of needing to go through every one of them... too time consuming imho

i found all of them but can't recompile always gives error messages

You can search folder with notepad+ guys is all automatic.
On aurora works ok, but I can't install apps, I need to push them manually and that's not cool at all. For now I ll be without it and when the great devs fix this will try again.

I am booting device and now Android Upgrading regularly....
Which was going to finish in secong before this.
Once upgrading finish, will try to install application
Edit : Confirmed - Now Application Installed regularly on N910G. I have modded jar but it should work without editing jar too as OP of thread didn't asked for it.
