Please i need help on how to solve this nagging problem.
I have a techno p5+, the problem with the phone is that it keeps loosing Internet (pls not radio network) network all the time.
When this happen, I will still have access to radio network (that is, the phone radio network will still be there, sometimes with full bar but the problem is that I will not be able to access an Internet network on the phone. I will not be able to get even 2g or 3g (hspa+) on it until I restores or refreshes the network APN.
The only way I solves this problem is that I will go to settings and click on access point names (APN) then I will RESET it.
This problem has frustrated me to the extent that I find it difficult to download or update my phone apps because the moment I does that, it will keep doing this over and over...
Please, any geek in the house with a good understanding of the problem should pls help me.

I just got unlocked fuze at first the phone was working fine but i was trying to fix internet setting i knockied the phones signal compleatly off and now it wont make calls please help

There are at least 2 types of internet access, cellular and WLAN. Contact your WLAN admin or your cell phone service provider to ask about their network settings.
you may have removed your proxy. can try resetting proxy or even better, back up and hard reset.

So I stumbled upon something interesting the other day while running a CSDI ROM. I noticed I was unable to use 3G data anymore even if I had full reception and my menu bar indicated a 3G signal was present. Funny thing is I can connect and use 2G just fine.
Since then I've tried wiping, flashing other roms, upgrading recovery, reformatting and partitioning my SD card but to no avail. I don't believe it to be a problem with T-Mobile's 3G network either (I've since called them an am awaiting any further help they could be).
I've made sure "T-Mobile" was selected under "Network operators" but that didn't seem to help. I know I can "use only 2G networks" but that would just be silly to not try and get my 3G up and running again.
Is anyone able to shed some light or have any input into this situation?

Try *#*#4636#*#* ,and then you can see information phone,there select "wcdma only".I have the same problem like you,the reason is that signal 3G no strenth enourgh and phone always change net between 2G and 3G.
I had no data for 3 or so hours, searched google's live twitter feed and others list data as well.

Thanks for your help, however after switching that setting, it worked for a little bit, then the data connection stopped functioning again. Even though it shows "3G" at the top with 3-4 bars, I simply keep losing the data connection whenever I access the internet.
This is very annoying...
Generally my sensation has a decent reception. Most of the times i`m able to get a decent 3G/HSDPA signal without any problems.
The problem is, that I live outside the city and at home my (3G) reception sucks. My Sensation seems to suffer from this poor reception a lot more then my previous Desire-Z.
The 2G connection is fine. When the phone switches to 3G however, I only get one bar and the connection frequently drops so that I have no service at all. When i set the phone to only use 2G, the connection stays stable and since I have wifi, having only GPRS at home is no problem.
I don`t want to leave my phone on 2G only because when i`m not home, the 3G connection is usually fine. I was wondering if there is a way to manually change the 2g/3g switching treshold so the phone will only switch when it has a decent 3G signal. I tried to set GSM Auto (PRL) at the #*#4636#*#* menu, but this doesn`t do the trick.

It has the ability to automatically disable 3G when you have access to a WiFi network.

I used tasker to achieve this, when it notices my wifi ssid, it switches off 3g. The down side is that wifi needs to be on ask the time. You could also use "show and switch 2g/3g" from the market, with this APp you can switch with one button or use a schedule.

Hey guys I hope you could provide some guidance to me with my problem. Here's the thing i made a mistake on switching with X carrier which still has a not so stable of a network. Often times my phone goes to roaming even though im still on a network coverage area which in turn causes charges to my account when I send message or call someone and use my data. Now what I do when that happens is (on a samsung phone) go to [Settings>Mobile Networks>Network Operators>Select Automatically] which fixes the problem sometimes. Is there a way to automate this process with tasker so that whenever my phone's signal state goes to roaming it does the thing above^

no matter what ROM i use, no matter in what manner I flash said ROM, my XT1548 simply will NOT connect to mobile data . the problem seems to be that a cellular signal needs to be established in order to "activate" the SIM. (I guess this isnt a problem with contract phones). however, I cannot get a cellular signal at all. Ive tried airplane toggle, cellular toggle APN, you name it. I just want a working ROM that lets me use my US Cellular registration . I will post any logs or whatever I need to help. but can anyone help out here? it seems that with VIRGIN the problem was solved within CM13 (virgin "data anywhere" or whatever it was). but how can the US Cellular version be helped?
