For me, at least, it's more I don't want to bother anyone on my google talk list by sending them a random link to a video to see a feature, and less being so damn lazy.

Yep. There's an app. Search for SugarSync all one word.

Lol idk....
But this app is pretty neat, it works great for syncing music pics, and my android stuff folder between my PC and my phone. I had barely used dropbox because of the little space available, but this is a different story
And I even won a $25 gift card! Haha

I'm with you, not worth the risk and hassle. I'd rather just wait till CWM is updated to allow Infuse 4G... not sure what's taking so long.

im comtemplating it. i downloaded all files and they are sitting there in my downloads folder and i go to it then exit... i want to then i dont want too... lol

It's because there's not a hell of a lot of benefit given that it's not 2.2.3, or 2.3.... it doesn't add a whole lot of functionality, and the phone isn't missing much to begin with to make it all that appealing in the weighing of potentially bricking the phone, haha

i got a question when you all facotry reset you alls phone? do you go back and download one app at a time or do they all manually start to download again?
cuz whne i had my hd2 every time i would switch out roms apps would automatically restore

They're supposed to auto-restore, but I had to manually do them on this phone.
With my HTC (last phone) it stored the list on their Sense server and pushed them all back to me. Much easier with HTC, so I'm going to use my backup pro to save this time.

yeah i had to do it manually like 2 time already with diffrent phones. this is the only thing i hate bout it. my hd2 i would log in open the market and with in 10 minutes i was up and running.

Yeah, once you have stable apps, settings, location, etc, just do a backup with mybackup pro then restore with it... much easier than even the login thing, cause then mybackup also restores app data, accounts, emails, and sideloaded apps.

Can't upload large files. Tried to upload a Tom but it said that the file was too big.

Can't upload a folder, but you can create a folder on Box and upload into it.
Lower left of box app is a plus sign on top of a folder, click that to create your folder.

Even with the huge amount of space, no folder uploads, small upload limit, and no desktop client makes box pretty much useless. Dropbox dominates because it has these features.

If I am not mistaken it is a 100 mb limit. Really not that bad. Uploaded abunch of stuff foe backup

yeah i think it is. its weird you cant upload a folder though....

Ive had that for a long time. I had to download an app which you had to login to with your Box details, then it somehow made the actual Box think that it was a certain phone (LG or SE?) that could get 50GB free and then voila.

This is exactly what I'm hoping for. I really like the dropbox UI on mobile and desktop. I hope box.net updates their UI in the future.

Grabbed this yesterday, like it so far. And I was able to upload the full "camera" folder from my gallery. Yeah, the 100mb limit kinda sucks, but between Dropbox and Sugarsync, I got that covered.

one thing ive found out recently is that with dropbox you can set it to automatically backup your pictures (when on wifi if you want)
which is great because i always forget to back them up when changing roms (constantly)
and have lost a ton of pictures!

You can install apps from the play store on your computer to your phone and control them from a web interface.

But the thief will most likely turn on airplane mode and then factory reset. If it was lost, someone might try to return it, but I doubt they would care about your info. Unless its credit card numbers , etc.

Buddy for that you need to install play store in your mobile & OP said he hadn't configured. So I think it wont be possible. Also check its NOTE. Its wont work in Galaxy S3.

You can't really do anything.
But unless someone stole it just to try to get your personal information, chances are they already wiped the data themselves and are planning to just sell it. Unless it's personal, I highly doubt they give two craps about persnal documents and family pictures - just selling the phone and making money.

If you're for real, then that means maybe they'll turn it in to the police.
