Hey guys,
Has anyone had any luck getting a WiiMote/Nyko PlayPad/any bluetooth gamepad really, to connect properly?
It's my understanding that Google broke gamepad support in 4.1 or 4.2.
Are there any ROMs that address this issue directly or are there any other fixes available?
Thanks.
Got the Nexus 5 streaming music to my 2012 Toyota Camry, however the AVRCP profiles do not appear to be working correctly. No metadata, and no remote functions (car -> phone via BT). Anyone having any luck with this?
I had a Skyrocket before with CM10.0 (Android 4.1.2) that did the AVRCP profiles perfectly. I know the BlueZ change-over occurred directly after that, why I kept that version on my Skyrocket. I rolled back after it stopped working when I upgraded to CM10.1. But now on the Nexus 5 I'm "stuck" with KitKat.
Thought all this BT profile stuff was fixed in 4.3?
Most likely your Camry's radio will need a firmware update. I'm running into this with my 2010 Volkswagen GTI.

That's the thing, the Camry worked fine with my Skyrocket which used AVRCP 1.3. Emailed Toyota and they said 1.3 is supported in the head unit. If KitKat truly supports AVRCP (even if it's 1.4) shouldn't it be compatible (backward compatible).
Hi,
Has anyone checked if Android 5.0 fixes the bluetooth connectivity issue with Wiimotes? Really wanted to use the Wiimote with my phone, but havent been able to since 4.2..., and I have not got the 5.0 update yet.
Further, if I could change the Wiimote controller, what would I need to change to make it compatible with Android for pairing?
Not an expert! Can follow instructions though. Pls help!
Changing The Wiimote to enable Android Pairing
Can get the changed wiimote manufactured from some chinese contractor surely..
Hi, I bought a nice Logitech Bluetooth keyboard (y-x5a77) and tried to pair it with An Android stick with Android 4.2.2 but Android didnt even see the Logitech device. Then tried with Android 5.0.1 and got same problem! I know the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard is working , because it directly connected with other OS like IOS and Windows. A phone does work with Bluetooth pairing with my Android stick, but with keyboard it gave troubles.
How can I fix this Bluetooth problem in Android? I have root access.
