[Q] Root Meizu Pro 5 - General Questions and Answers

Hello, I really need an expert who can help me to root my device, it comes pre-rooted. Im trying to fix this for couple of days and cannot manage, I unrooted the device from SuperSu in the settings>full unroot
My phone is a Meizu Pro 5 with Flyme OS 5.1.2.0G that I installed following this guide (guide-how-to-install-i-international-firmware-on-your-chinese-mainland-meizu) when I had root acces. It originally came with Flyme OS 4.5.4.2I.
Now I need root access again and it seems impossible to get it, I tried recovering the telephone and changing the OS back to the original but nothing seems to help, maybe some of you know how to manually re-root the phone?
Thank you all very much for your time.

[Q] Rooting the Huawei y330 U01

Hello there!
I'd like to ask anyone for help regarding the rooting of my phone.
So far i have tried every program available like vroot, kingoroot, srsroot, framaroot and many others i dont remember, but no luck!
All of them have failed to root my phone.I ve installed the phone drivers on my pc and im running windows 8.1 on my laptop if that makes any difference.i also have usb debugging on.
The only time it worked, was with root genius but only for 5 minutes, then it unroots itself again.
So if you have any ideas please share,i only want to remove the bloatware that came with my phone.
Thank you
Did you have any success?
I have just been given one of these god awful phones for work,
seems that we are stuck with 4.22 android, which is a shame because the work related apps the company bought me the phone to use, won't run on 4.22 and all the developers of the app say is that I need to upgrade to Android 5
Rooting Huawei y330 u-01
Though this problem has taken a while now, it is possible to root your Huawei Ascend y330 u-01 using the kingo root option as at 4th December, 2015 :highfive:. I am not quite sure if rooting via phone works, but the results are impressive through the PC version. Unlike before where rooting restarts the phone unexpectedly and fails, support for Huawei y330 u-01 is now available for kingo root users. However, at the time of writing this piece, though root is successful, it is easily lost when you allow an application to access the root for a couple of times. Therefore, you should use this access immediately otherwise you will have to wait again for the kingo root program to root your phone again.

Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 - Android 5.0.2

Hello,
I recently got the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 running Android 5.0.2 which is a phone based off the ZTE Blade S6 Lux which is known for having a secure boot loader. Anyway, I have been trying to root it for quite a while.
I managed to root it using Kingroot but it only lasts till a phone restart so it is a temporary root. I have tried the PC version and 3 different versions of Kingroot APK with no permanent root. I even tried replacing Kingroot with SuperSU but that's not working at all as it breaks the temp root. I have tried a few other tools to try root such as kingoroot but they didn't work at all. I really need a root because I want to make a Tasker profile that puts airplane mode on when a NFC tag is scanned and lots of other things, but that's irrelevant.
I don't want to flash a custom ROM as I feel very unconformable with that.
If anyone knows how to make the root stay or any other method on rooting please reply to this thread.
Thanks,
Zacy5000.
Ok, I was thinking perhaps with the temp root I could put some files in the phone which is a different root to make the root stay but I wouldn't know how to go about doing that (if that makes sense).

How to UNroot Infinix Hot 4 X557 Android 7, Urgent help please

Hi,
I recently got my phone reset accidentally and some important images got deleted. Phone details:
Infinix Hot 4, Android version 7
Build number: X557-H807AD-N-171110V163
Model: Infinix X557.
Kernel Version 3.18.35+
I looked into recovery software and thought I'd give Dr fone (PC) a go. It successfully recognised the device and started the one-step root & recovery process. However, after a couple of minutes, it stopped with a message that it can't root this phone model and I should do it manually.
Hence, I have researched rooting of Infinix X557 and for my particular case of Android 7 I believe the following guide would work:
w**.techvilaz.com/2017/05/how-to-root-infinix-hot-4-after.html
I haven't rooted my phone yet, as I know that the consequences shall not be favourable and until I unroot the phone it won't receive updates. Therefore, I am thinking of inquiring if anyone knows how to unroot my phone once it is rooted. I will then root my device, recover files and then unroot it.
Any help relevant to my case of Infinix X557 Android 7 will be much appreciated. Please note that it has already been 25 days since my phone resetted and I am not left with much time to recover my data. I have asked on so many other forums but no luck. Please help!!!

Leagoo T5 - How to root this device?

Hi guys,
I'm new here. I was wondering if anyone has a Leagoo T5 and might be able to help with rooting it, ideally without flashing the OS?
I'm worried about bricking the phone, which is why I'd rather just root the current OS if possible. My current OS version is: OS2.1_E_20181025
I'd looked at many of the well know root tools, like KingRoot, KingoRoot and OneClickRoot, but so far none of these offically support this device.
So, has anyone successfully rooted this phone with the default OS, and if so, which rooting tool did you use?
Note - My goal is to install an app (needs root access) that can prevent the phone from charging over 80%, to boost the battery's lifespan if left to charge.
