Hey everyone, asking here because the slim rom thread got closed. The rom does not have the samsung theme store installed, is that apk available or is there any other method i can use to theme?
I flashed that rom to try it out but I was getting errors with it too..I think u have to change the model name to our sprint one..its in,system,then build properties ..

this is my first rom so dont hate. this is just a port of ranye's stock 2.2.2 thrive rom for the pheonix. It is non themed right now. it will be soon though!

UPDATE THIS ROM WILL NOT WORK ON THE P500 P509 P506 AND THE P505r
flash in clockworkmod recovery for the p500 will get color issue dont freak. also works in thunderg for p500 anyone that wants to help me andy? mik? ciox? you reading this theme is going up soon its a metamoph theme, have to play WaW zombies on pc now lol.
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: i no loger have this device i now have a samsung captivate, i might still work in this though.
this is a metamoph theme: install thourgh metamoph,
if you want white clock text replace the services.jar with this one
can you provide a better specs of your rom

grab all apks you need,
Place the apk inside the system/app
(etc go-sms-pro)
Open go-sms-pro go to MANIFEST-INF -> and open cert.sf on top you will she
SHA1-Manifest-Digiest: (and a lot of numbers and letter's
copy these line,
now go to the rom your building and add the line you copied
META-INF -> CERT.SF
META-INF -> Manifest
(be sure to delete the line Manifest, when pasted in both files)
Should loke like this SHA1-Digiest: 1jfij1giji47mojh8jh/khoi=
now zip all files (system META-INF recovery and boot,
name what you want, and make zip file
And remember to sign it

So i have a p505 and this rom doesnt work with mine, or at least i guess
i may not have given it long enough to work i dont know. What i do know
is the rom that this was made from worked perfectly on my p505, so i
thought i'd throw that little bit of knowledge out there
i cant get the theme to install! it says some error and theme control or somethin like that! please help!
it will do that now go into metamoph and choose pick exiseting theme and go to carlorom and choose Gingerbread.xml
go into metamoph again and choose gingerbread.xml from exsiting themes carlorom.
Did this modify the kernel at all?
I would like to make an update on this rom.... I guess i was in general
a tad too impatient and didnt give the rom enough time to boot the first
time i ran it... This rom does actually work on the P505R for those that
do have it.

that is where you can download the rom. after you flash your rom and boot it up..reboot into your custom recovery and flash your theme. hope this helped.

Thanks your awesome but 1 tiny little qustion what is flash gapps what is gapps i know how to flash a rom but actually i don't know whats gapps and whats nandroid so please send me links
Is your phone rooted with unlocked boot loader? If yes do you have clockwork mod recovery? Gapps is what installs certain Google apps like market and Gmail and such.you flash gapps right after you flash your rom in the same session. A nandroid backup just backs up your current rom and data in case you have problems with the new rom or just don't like it.

Hey i searched this forum to make sure that this wasnt already posted didnt see it i guess i will post it. i was able to change the carrier name to what i want it to be with this apk check it out currently on ravers miui rom

That is awesome it works. I can't remember if I tried that app using a different rom on this phone or on a different phone but it did not work properly. I am too on MIUI and my carrier name now says Google.

no problem glad that i could help out.
If you're running miui, you can simply push the files from the extended settings mod zip. and change it. Even better, you can apply pngs by pushing the images to a theme mtz.

Yes I know that. But internet is not cheap here and I don't want to download 800MB just to extract 20MB. It's a waste of time and bandwidth. That's why I've asked a help here.

Hey, are you sure this is deodexed LSC Framework ? I got bootloop after flashing this.

You should have said alliance ROM he doesn't have the files in system/app folder its all in preload partition mate

I'm now on SVA ROM not alliance ROM. I like his ROM but hate AVA theme. So I wanted to switch back to Stock look. That's why I asked those two files.
In SVA SystemUI is in /system/app/ . I just create a CWM file to copy these two files to relevant folders. But after flashing it I got a bootloop. Actually what I noticed is, Framework-res you provide and he provide are different. That's why I asked that question.
I'm actually not a ROM or MODs dev. So I might did some mistakes when flashing.
Actually I'm not 100% satisfied with current situation as well because even I got the stock look but now S Pen is not working ( S Pen is kind of getting stuck ). I don't know WHY

I don't know what SVA did.... maybe his rom has more toggles so some changes goto framework?

I didn't flash mod with more toggles. I've only themed one. He has changed almost all colors in SystemUI
I think you could ask in his thread for stock theme as to theme his rom he might do change some files not only 1 or 2 of them
I do not use SVA rom but believe he has the option for choosing theme in the last release

I still use it on my GT-I9295 int version, theme v been flashed for 3 min, without any notify after reboot n it works perfect..i dont know what to say

if your rom is odex- always odex version, if it deodex- use deodex version
i have odex rom, so i used odex version.

if it was new from the box and u use stock baseband or updated it by ota or kies- it is odex, it can be deodex if u flash custom
