Yes I know that. But internet is not cheap here and I don't want to download 800MB just to extract 20MB. It's a waste of time and bandwidth. That's why I've asked a help here.
Anyway thanks for the response.

hmm ok. i would have pasted it but i dont have it. did you try in the XXLC deodexed rom thread in Adnroid Dev section? may be someone can help there

I'm now on SVA ROM not alliance ROM. I like his ROM but hate AVA theme. So I wanted to switch back to Stock look. That's why I asked those two files.
In SVA SystemUI is in /system/app/ . I just create a CWM file to copy these two files to relevant folders. But after flashing it I got a bootloop. Actually what I noticed is, Framework-res you provide and he provide are different. That's why I asked that question.
I'm actually not a ROM or MODs dev. So I might did some mistakes when flashing.
Actually I'm not 100% satisfied with current situation as well because even I got the stock look but now S Pen is not working ( S Pen is kind of getting stuck ). I don't know WHY

I didn't flash mod with more toggles. I've only themed one. He has changed almost all colors in SystemUI

I think you could ask in his thread for stock theme as to theme his rom he might do change some files not only 1 or 2 of them
I do not use SVA rom but believe he has the option for choosing theme in the last release

[Req] Themes for ODEXed ROMS!

A lot of the community would be grateful if someone could make a theme + tweaks for Odexed ROMS also. (For those giving me that strange look, no it is not impossible!)
As most of us are using XXKPQ, it could be a good beginning.
If it has been requested before, I (or google) could not find it. Thanks for listening!

I am already doing that, but EDT tweaks and 14 toggles are really what I am after
It's a very good idea. Other phone users are doing that. Look at i9000 section. They say that deodexing a firmware doesn't make it smoother or something like that..
i'm using Odexed Jpkpa Rom fo a while now, using ics theme of xxkpq by pushing the deodexed files then using a script to generate the .odex file Format

Which version of the theme?
v2 (i hope the screens are from v2)
I do this on ODEXED ROM.
Step 1- Download a theme for de-odexed ROM itself.
Step 2- MANUALLY put files using Root Explorer or anything similar.
Step 3- While you re-place, delete .odex files.
Step 4- After copying all teh files and deleteing .odex then and there, re-boot
step 5- ???
step 6- PROFIT!

[Theme]{updated with fix for DDLf2\(XWLF2-testers needed)}Little bit S2-ICS look

Hi Friends, I have try to make theme looking little bit S2 like. I have changed drawables from framework-res of s2. I have also changed icons of apps same as s2.
Added S2 keyboard.
I have used morphing file made by ammar786 and I am thankful of him for that. As I have edited darawables to make this theme, now it should work on all GB firmware. But I need some testers for that.
This time ammar786 has helped a lot which u can see here.. So he should also be thanked. So dont forget to thanks him
New version change-log:-
1.Based on S2 ics stock look(little bit)
2. Added system back ground
3. Ics style holo progress bar
4. Changed icons to ics style in gmail, gtalk and voice search app
5.Added modded touchwiz launcher from here.,it is really smoother than stock one.
6. More polished battery icon and some other changes.....
Installation of new version:-
1. Put the zip file in external_sd.
2. Open cwm recovery.
3.If u r on other theme then flash deodexing file first and then my theme only.
4.If u use any mods than first flash deodexing file then flash mods again. Then flash my theme and at last flash fix file from below link.
Download link:-https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B4tLzE5Rh5e0b05veU5DaGkyM2c
Download link for mods fix:-https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4tLzE5Rh5e0Tk9vZzA2ZkQ2eU0/edit?pli=1
Screen shots of new theme is below...
I think your phone should be dodexed.
Older version will work on all the stock gb roms.
As I have edited darawables in files to make this theme, now it should work on other GB firmware. But I need some testers for that. Download link is below.(Not for ddlf2/xwlf2)
Changes(older version):-
Drawable changes in...
1. Mms.apk
2. Clockpackage.apk
3. Browser,apk
4 Music.apk(Some changes...)
And some other chnges...
And due to morphing zip size is reduced.
Installation:-
1.Flash through CWM.
2. If u r on other theme then flash deodexing zip file first, then flash theme.
3. If u use mods then flash deodexing file then mods and then theme.
Download link for other gb roms besides value pack:-https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B4tLzE5Rh5e0cGVtRHFIWkk5LXc
Screen shots are attached below.
I have made this theme on s2 stock theme so it may possible that u don't get much changes but i have made changes.
Cool! Nice...
Thx for ur efforts.

[REQUEST] CRT off animation cwm flashable zip for 4.0.4

As the title says, would someone be generous and make us a working cwm flash crt to use with lrk or 4.0.4 roms.
Some roms doesn't come with it, specially the stock based ones, and others once u flash a theme its gone...
Would be grateful for it...

I do like it very much. But the thing is the roms I use doesn't have it when u choose the stock look theme provided by thrm, (sometimes their themeing is ugly and Vey colorful ! I prefer stock big and simple notification icons)
So a separate CRT zip would be a great help, I think I'm not the only one wishing for this
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
For the Gingerbread ROM's i always did em myself using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24370886#post24370886
But since ICS came its harder because if you only modify the framework.res.apk file you end up with CRT effect and straight after it the screen blinks and then goes off.
For ICS you also need to mod some other files but my android skills are like zero so im stuck too....

any way here it is, hope it helps
i tested it on LRK stock rom and it works just fine, might work for other ics as well; just give it a try
beware that if you have a modded framework, flashing this will revert all other mods

this is the correct link, I've figured that i'll just add "l" at the end. I haven't tried this yet but if you do, can you please report back if it's working? Most of the crt-off mods will make your screen flicker right when turning it off(i.e. the screen will turn on for a split second after locking/turning off the device)hope it doesn't happen on this one

Doesn't work on CleaNote V5 .
Right after the boot splash, the screen goes black. Need to go into Recovery by force (3 button combo) and reflash the ROM...
-----
Why should we put it in the internal SD? I keep all my flashables on the external SD (Serioux 16GB class 6) and never had any troubles...
Some people also recommended using the internal to flash from rather than external, on the Motorola ATRIX.
Any particular reason why? Scientific explanation

So Sammy puts so much work in the frameworks for every (small, I'd say) update? CRT animation was flickering even on 4.0.3 (XXLQ3 - RocketROM) and 4.0.4 LRK and LR6. I know CRT is tricky on ICS in general or so devs say?

[TUTORIAL] How to Add Themes and Mods Into a Custom Rom

Things you will need: 7ZIP (or other compression tool), An unzipped rom and Notepad++
1. Download the Mod or Theme you wish to add and open it with 7ZIP.
2. Drag all of the folders/files EXCEPT Meta-INF into your rom's folder (copy and replace all of the files that have the same name)
3. In your Mod/Theme, open the updater script with Notepad++ (located in META-INF/com/google/android)
4. Copy all of the text in the Mods updater script and then paste it at the bottom of your rom's updater scipt (they're both in the same location).
5. Save it.
6. Done
I hope this guide will help save some time and enhance your roms (Also, please make sure to ask permission for the work you use!) :good:

all these pngs need to be copied to the drawable-xhdpi of each apk. for systemui you can't modify the apk and just copy it back to the priv-app folder. you'll get FC on systemui. I usually open up the rom zip with 7-zip, extract the apks (system/priv-app folder system/framework for framework.apk), look for the drawable-xhdpi folder then drag the pngs into that folder. after you do this for each apk copy them all, except framework.apk, to the system/priv-app folder. framework.apk goes into the system/framework folder. copy the rom back to your sd card, go into recovery and reflash the rom without doing any wiping. if you have xposed you might have to re-enable it and reboot
I know it sounds like alot of work. I usually modify the rom before I flash it. This process should work with any aosp kk rom. I've flashed several and always theme the apks before I flash it. these not flashable zip files.
DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK
ALWAYS NANDROID FIRST
THIS IS ONLY FOR THE S3
NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS SOMETHING UP
I've installed plenty of roms and always do this and have not had any problems.
