[Q] how to get into fastboot mode ?

how to get into fastboot mode in sony xperia tipo...
need help.. i tried power button and volume up but nothing happens. my phone start normally..
is there anybody who teach me the right way to get into fastboot?

plug usb into pc or laptop then turn off phone. hold down vol+ button while pluging in usb into phone keep hold of vol+ untill you see blue led. Then there you have it your in fastboot mode

hi.. a noob here. sorry. tried hold down vol while connecting to pc via usb cable but had error.. drivers not found. im in the process of unlocking bootloader on my tipo dual. thanks so much

install fastboot drivers

install fastboot drivers. I also recommend installing flashmode drivers too. flashtool is your friend.

you can find the drivers in s1tool i think i my self have a branded phone but have my xperia ray still and when i unlocked the bootloader the fastboot drivers had to be installed from s1tool while unlocking the bootloader via test point metherd in 2011 range. so don't know for sure if 2012+ is supported worth a check mybe

Tried it but nothing happens.
Shouldnt fastboot mode be accessible with vol up+power button?

No. Just hold vol+ and then plug the cable, till u see the blue led

Dude... From my experiences,just a question,is your phone operator locked??
If yes,no one can help you!!
If it is operator locked,u won't be able to enter fastboot.its because if u are able to enter fastboot,u can remove operator lock via flashing...
So if your phone is operator(SIM) locked....u cannot probably enter fastboot...

Yes it is locked unfortunately. Any thoughts on how to get the code instead of just buying one?

Nope, no way of getting rid of that SIM lock without paying. Nobody will give you code for free when every single other source charges.

my xperia play does not boot even to sony logo

When i press the power button, the phone only vibrates but nothing happens. Sony ericsson logo wont even show up................please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HY,have you tried to flash a custom ROM andit didnt worked? iAM thinking it might be a boot loop,but if you didnt mess with the os,then the phone can be changed if you have a guarantee.

Thanks for the reply..............but i finally fixed it by updating through emma flashtool...

Have u flashed a custom rom? then flash appropriate kernel!!

[Q] My Xperia miro Bootloader doesn't work!

I unlocked my xperia miro boot loader. but i can't open it. i don't know why....but when i hold vol+ and plugged it into USB, it shows blue led....but then nothing happened . What can i do?

dude u cant open bootloader..its cwm-ClockWorkMod...!!
How to use
Power off (for firmware version less than 11.0.A.4.22 will need to connect charger. Others need not connect charger )
Power on. When you see the sony logo press vol – button repeatedly.
Now you should be in cwm recovery or TWRP.(whichever’s install.bat you used)

[Q] Cant boot into recovery... Sony xperia tipo

Hey guys!... i bought my sony xperia tipo an year ago... yesterday i rooted my phone, it was succesful in first attempt. I wanted to then install jelly bean OS on my phone. I came through a point that "Reboot your phone into recovery by pressing Volume Down + Power + Home... lol it was funny cause home button is touch sensitive.. but i still tried it...nothing happened. i realised that i need to install cwm recovery and something something which i did and was a success. Then it says that reboot your phone and as soon as you see the "sony" logo start pressing volume down repeatedly. i did the same...but it rebooted normally...... X- parts didnt work too.... Fastboot, flashboot and safe mode works perfectly
I really need help...im really eager to use jelly bean

to boot into recovery..press power button and when you see FXP logo, press vol - button.

For jelly bean os you need unlocked bootloader. If you have unlocked bootloader,then download fxp cm10 rom for your phone (tipo) -download here unrestrict.li/FXP,choose version: cm10, release leave,file-search for "tapioca" name ,pull boot.img from that rom .zip file and flash it through flashtool in fastboot mode. Turn on phone and start pressing volume - button

You have to Install CWM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2003069 also to install CyanogenMod, you have to Unlock your bootloader(you will find a lot of guides on how to do this and check if you can unlock your bl) because if you not you can brick your device...

Try connect your phone by USB your PC. It should enter flash mode. Then try to flash Stock ROM ftf without flashing system or userdata (to not erase your current ROM) with FlashTool.
That may reboot your device so it will turn on
