[Q] Cant boot into recovery... Sony xperia tipo - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hey guys!... i bought my sony xperia tipo an year ago... yesterday i rooted my phone, it was succesful in first attempt. I wanted to then install jelly bean OS on my phone. I came through a point that "Reboot your phone into recovery by pressing Volume Down + Power + Home... lol it was funny cause home button is touch sensitive.. but i still tried it...nothing happened. i realised that i need to install cwm recovery and something something which i did and was a success. Then it says that reboot your phone and as soon as you see the "sony" logo start pressing volume down repeatedly. i did the same...but it rebooted normally...... X- parts didnt work too.... Fastboot, flashboot and safe mode works perfectly
I really need help...im really eager to use jelly bean
Dont laugh on my english....
hope i get the solution.. heard much about this site:fingers-crossed:

to boot into recovery..press power button and when you see FXP logo, press vol - button.

For jelly bean os you need unlocked bootloader. If you have unlocked bootloader, then download fxp cm10 rom for your phone (tipo) -download here unrestrict.li/FXP,choose version: cm10, release leave,file-search for "tapioca" name ,pull boot.img from that rom .zip file and flash it through flashtool in fastboot mode. Turn on phone and start pressing volume - button

Thanks!! it may take time to download... but i need to ask something
i read somewhere about RecoverX app...
is it helpful?? will it work??

if you're downloading jelly bean for your device, then you don't need that app.

Press power and volume up button at same time

You have to Install CWM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2003069 also to install CyanogenMod, you have to Unlock your bootloader(you will find a lot of guides on how to do this and check if you can unlock your bl) because if you not you can brick your device...

Can't Reboot Xperia x10 mini pro into recovery!

I rooted my device "Xperia x10 mini pro" using 'Unlock Root', unlocked Bootloader, installed BusyBox and Root Explorer. Installed xRecovey, CMW Recovery and whatever it was required to REBOOT into recovery.
Switched Off my phone & pressed back button when Sony Ericsson logo appeared but nothing happened. It didn't into recovery.
I am so disappointed now and don't know what to do to get into recovery
It would be a great help if you could let me out from my problem.
Thank You
Model Number:U20i
Build Number:2.1.1.A.0.6
Hello
Hello, Did you manage to put the sony x10 mini pro into recovery??
I have same problem, please get back
Thanks
try to press the volume down button intermittently during the boot .. thats how i get into the recovery (CWM) in my mini pro (SK17i) .. but since urs is X10 mini pro im not so sure if my method will work for ur fone ! theres no harm in trying
You have to keep smashing the back button until the recovery appears.

hold power and vol up button and release power after it turned on if you come into recovery mode your done : )
None of these methods work for me.
I rooted the phone, unlocked the bootloader, have xrecovery on it, I was even using the custom rom for a while, but when I tried to restart and enter recovery, I couldn't.
Now my rom will not even start up normally, and I can't get FlashTool to force it into recovery since the phone has to be turned on for flashtools to do that.
Am I seriously going to have to do the whole rooting procedure all over again?
EDIT: Solved omfg You really have to keep SMASHING that Back button, holding it does nothing!
Thnx, and God bless HTC.

[Q] Xperia J cannot boot (LED flashes for 1 sec and phone turns off)

Hi guys
I flashed the FXP 222 boot.img onto my unlocked Xperia J, and suddenly it cannot boot into anything, holding vol + and power lets the LED blink blue for 1 sec, and it shuts down again.
I cannot access Fastboot, or Recovery.
Battery is almost fully charged, I'm sure. (even then, I cannot charge the phone anymore)
What could be wrong? How can I fix this? Thank you!
*P.S. boot.img was from FXP222-cm-10.1-20130602-UNOFFICIAL-hayabusa from the FXP thread in Original Android Development.. thanks
**update: got it to go into fastboot by plugging in and pressing power + vol + at the same time..
may I know what did I do wrong though? Thank you..

or u can hold VOL UP and POWER button for more than 10 seconds ... fon will vibrate 3 times and it will POWER OFF completely. Then u can switch it ON normally using POWER button and on sony logo press VOL UP button to boot into recovery mode. From here u can flash any custom ROM...
OR u can just flash stock firmware using flashtool....

0. I have flashtool and Android SDK.

2. I downloaded cm10 and gapps.
3. My mobile is already rooted and i unlocked its bootloader.
4. I installed CWM from both mobile and pc.
5. My problem : When i power off and press power + volume up, it wont go in recovery and boots normally.
My phone is stock jellybean.
Well im a real beginner in these things so i wanted to do it to learn it but i need help.
If you need other details, ask me but i really need help.
Try when you see Sony logo rapidly press volume down. How I do it:
Press power button until it vibrates (release power buton)
Rapidly press volume down till it go in CWM.

No worries @AdarshJKC98 It's all about Trial & Error, Here's how i install & Use CWM
Ensure Unknown Sources is enabled & Ensure Debugging is also Enabled, You must be rooted, Once you've made sure all of that go ahead and turn your device off, or just take your battery out, Place the USB Sync cable into your PC and go ahead and Boot up Flashtool,Once done so place the Micro USB end into your device and Hold Volume +, If done so correctly a Blue LED will light up, Click the thunderbolt icon on flashtool and select 'Fastboot Mode' And then click on 'Select Kernal To Flash' once done so find the Boot.img i have given you (Link provided below) Once the kernal has been flashed unplug the micro usb cable and go ahead and power on your device
How do i open up CWM on my device
It's simple once you have powered on your device a Purple LED on the Illumination bar Should illuminate keep pressing Volume + or Volume - Either should do the trick, the LED Should then light up Blue, Once done go ahead and use the steps provided to flash your ROM

Hope this helped ;3
Thnx so much dude, it works
Another small problem !
I entered recovery mode, i wiped cache and tried to install cm10, but it said installation aborted.
So i installed X Fusion directly and rebooted my phone.
But now it lights up, give the purple light which turns off after some time and remains like this.
what to do ?

try entering android recovery.
There you will have the option to factory reset the phone.
When the phone boots and sony logo shows press volume up button or volume down button repeatedly.(I forgot which one exactly )
Then you will enter android recovery.
Hit thanks if I helped.

I think, he don't have custom recovery installed.
To go in custom recovery reboot the phone start pressing volume down button repeatedly until you get in recovery.
