I am fairly new to Android Development but started out because I wanted to learn and to share what i have learned so far. My goal with this kernel is to be a very fast and stable build that offers some things that the other kernels do not. I want to initiate Development Discussions amongst the community. This will be a noob friendly thread as long as the new users follow 2 rules. First is to do some research before asking. Most likely your question has already been asked. If not in this thread then in another. Second is BE RESPECTFUL. You do these two things and even the most hardened Dev will assist you.

As the OP said, you must search before asking. S2w and d2w must work when the screen it's off and the phone sleep. I couldn't test it yet, but look interesting the features of this kernel..

Sorry I should have made it more clear. I do know for fact it works on my 1034 but would love to get some feedback from other moto g users about their experiences. As I have said I want this to be an open discussion. My understanding is since the kernel uses the current boot.img radish is should work for the other versions. But this just makes logical sense to me and have not tested. Thanks guys for the interest. In the second post I will go into more about MPDecision and how to configure it to your own tastes. In the 3rd post I will be using it as a revolving post about different kernel topics or whatever the community wants to go into. Thanks guys

Kernel run nice and smooth on my XT1032 (16GB), with a fresh install off C-Rom :good:

So this kernel does not work on the stock ROM? I just tried it and I'm stuck on the logo.

The kernel run nice with a fresh install of last cm11 nightly. I really need your tutorial for configure this new kernel

Sorry bud, It does not work on stock. I would love to find out the difference though. If anyone has an idea let me know and I can look into it. I thought it was just the Ramdisk that dictates the rom it can use but my kernel uses the ROM's ramdisk so that cant be it. If anyone has some insight please share and we can go into it. I would love to have my kernel work on all roms.
On another note, it seems that Touch Boost is not working properly and I will have to look into it along with Max Screen Off. It is supposed to be disabled since I use another mechanism in MPDEC.

Ok doubletap2wake in deep sleep doesn't work. I have test it.
But kernel runs smoother than stock CM. I hope the battery is also good but I'll see.

New highspeed charging module current limit bumped to 1900

OC to 1.6, damn, that's impressive. My only concern is, how will this affect the already-present heating problem on the A6K?

Brother, I think you are on the wrong planet. Here, Lenovo a6k doesn't get heated up. It only happens if you are playing some high graphics game for more than one hour. In normal usage, its cold, like ice. And, even then, its not much, unlike other phones, which you can't even hold in your hands once they get hot.

Bhai, Im not on KK right now. But, I really do appreciate your work. Well, I tried baba baltkari earlier on miui7 but my phone wouldn't boot up after that, so I had to move back to God's.

Check in your battery stats for "mediaserver" thing. Thats the real culprit. Eats up all the battery and makes the phone hot all the time.

Regardless of how much or what is running, a device must keep optimal temperatures at all times. The heating problem is extremely real, and pretty damn annoying.

That doesn't seem normal with A6K. Even with OC mine goes around 60 at most. In this I agree with sasukay check mediaserver because its the only thing that takes the temperature this high

well i know you people hate me but i never care i am myself using this kernel.

Why spreading hate i have set throttle limit to 69°c after 65°c it would it self display a Warining about Heat i am Myself using this kernel for gaming Stuffs Etc temp Never Got Above than 39°c Well IDK why you guys keep Spreading Hate if it touched on My Kernel I request you To Please Share the Screenshots With Proof if you guys Hate me So much then I Wont post here again Well i was Playing Asphalt 8 at medium Settings with No frame Drop anddevice Was like ice

Q1: Is this kernel compatible with ROM(s) a/b/c?
Ans: I do not know. All of my kernels are based off and tested only on Samsung Stock-MM. However, it will most probably work on any custom ROMs using Samsung’s stock kernel source.
Q2: Which version of kernel should I use?
Ans: I recommend you to always use the latest.
Q3: Is this kernel better than stock/‘xyz’ kernel(s)?
Ans: Regarding stock, Yes, It should be better in many aspects (Otherwise it will never been published). Regarding ‘xyz’ kernels, I don’t know. I even may not used your mentioned ‘xyz’ kernels.
Q4: How about performance/SOT?
Ans: Since SOT, performance etc. are largely based on several factors such as ROM, installed apps etc. No one else can exactly predict the performance/SOT of your mobile. So, you should test and find out that by yourself.
Q5: Can you tell me the best settings for performance/SOT?
Ans:Again, that depends on several factors. I can only say my favorite settings that gives me best results in my favorite ROM.
Q6: Which are the best CPUfreq gov/CPU hotplug/IOScheduler/TCP congestion algorithm for battery life/performance etc?
Ans: Again you need to find out those things yourself. To get more idea, I suggest you to read this awesome guide by @Saber
Q7: Could you add feature x and y to your kernel?
Ans: Not sure. It depends on the feature and the capability of device. Anyway, I’m happy to check and add, if possible, any useful features (unless it is too experimental or dangerous) to my kernel. Please give your suggestions in the official xda thread.
Q8: When will you release a new version of this kernel?
Ans: New updates will arrive whenever I have something new to present in-front of you (such as I managed to add new useful features, or fix some existing issues or along with Samsung's new open source code release).
Q9: I found a bug, what do I do?
Ans: Please provide as much information as possible (such as what feature, what didn\'t work, screenshots or logcat if possible) and post in this thread.

I tried NV browse to add band 40 and 41 but nothing happened. (Band are added but not supported)
I check using different rom like CM version.
It seem all failed to use different LTE band.
But after reading about qualcomm chip which has support for many band. But they are block by samsung.
So out curiosity i would like know of that can happen through kernel.

Root access is not required in the strict scene. However, you need an unlocked recovery like twrp to flash this kernel. If you are a Korean galaxy S5 user, you can also try SM-G900F ROMs (success is, however, not guranteed, plz read the op) in addition to ROMs those support Korean S5.

I tested, boot successfully, and the main functions are working (su, wifi, ril, etc). I have not tested more, because I am not in a 100% stock rom. Become official your support to klteduos, please.

Sorry to say that there will not be support for G901F anymore as WiFi working on V8.1 was a false information and due to recent changes i cant continue with same source.
I might look into it at some time but no ETA.

I still got the "Can't connect to camera" error with this kernel (all the custom kernels) + MIUI EU, this issue doesn't occur with the stock one. Could you please fix it?
