Heya guys, I have this model in the title and I would like to install another firmware to it
as of now it has G920PVPU3BOL1. and its in English.. and I would like to have it on Norwegian.. I think i need a TEN file or firmware.. ment for Telenor. I have tried flashing Different firmwares for the nordic aeria, but to no vail.. Is there a way to make the phone accept a Nordic or Norwegian firmware?
I did manage to get it Rooted.. does this help anything ?

I was hoping to be able to flash G920FXXU3QOLH on this phone. its a S6 Sprint variant, or is this humany impossible to do?

A big No... you cant ever never do that... diferent models runs diferent bootloader kernel etc.. so its imposible to flash stock 920f in 920p...

Hi i bought a G955F from Peru (PET) and the last firmware for that CSC is G955FXXU1AQDD and i want to try the latest G955FXXU1AQDG (PHN) but if i have to take it back to repair i would be able to flash back G955FXXU1AQDD been that firmware a downgrade over the G955FXXU1AQDG?
I dont know if ill not be able for some kind of odin issue or if i can brick the device cause i had those issues with my note 5 that wasnt able to get any version but the latest via odin.

edit: also if my G955F have PET CSC and i flash (PHN), that i think comes with multiple CSC but PET is not included, wich CSC is going to be my new one?.

As far as I know you can't downgrade, but I'm not entirely sure.
Just stay on AQDG, as long as KNOX isn't void, the service center people really shouldn't have an issue with it.

Tnx for ur answer, the problem is that my s8 plus have a carrier specifix splash screen and if i ever go to repair they inmediatly will notice a samsung splash screen instead.
I guess ill have to wait for the DG version released from my carrier to avoid been stuck with the phone if i have some kind of problem.
SOLVED: as nobody tried i did and u can downgrade without issues, yay for me.
Ok so my phone is a bit weird when it was updating the software something happened while updating and it crashed.. so when I tried installing the latest Indian firmware on it with odin it wouldn't except.. tried a bunch of versions but non worked finally I got one of the russian firmware to install.. just wanted to know why my phone won't accept the Indian firmware..
P.s I bought the phone in mumbai
i have same problem with Samsung j710fn .tried all types of firmware's 9 firmware's downloaded and try to flashing with Odin as well z3x box also there is different types of error comes with every firmware ..so i am tired now ..so anyone know the solution ? please tell me ...to come out from this issue
by way can you tell me which Russian firmware you used to flashing ? and phone is alive again with that firmware ?
Hi, guys! I bought a second-hand, unrooted Galaxy S7, model SM-G930S that shows the SK Telecom logo on boot, so it seems it is from South Korea. I want to replace its firmware for the Brazilian one (I suppose it's one of the G930F variants), but since it's my first Samsung phone, I don't know how to do it and if it's possible to do it, but I already know some of the necessary version stuff though:
SM-G930S
AP: G930SKSU1DQJ1
CP: G930SKSU1DQJ1
CSC: G930SSKC1DQJ1
Can someone tell me if it's possible to replace it and how can I do it? Will I need the ODIN tool people talks about a lot here? What else?
If this is your first Samsung device, then I do not recommend you start playing with firmware installs. Try to use it first as it is and then, if you do not like it, custom the firmware.

I have been with it for two months already. I do not like the korean firmware, thanks.
And, no, I do not want a custom firmware/ROM, a just want to know if it is possible (and how) to flash the Brazilian or International Samsung firmware, like I said above.

You can't flash the wrong model firmware to your phone
Well u cant just simply flash one varient's firmware over the other though the hardware is almost same. But u can install stock based costum rom like super stock rom which is debloated and a simple stock based rom i am using it right now on my S7 edge. you will like it i am sure. otherwise no way.
Im confused i upgraded to android 8.0 and didnt like it at all now i want to downgrade but i cant find correct firmware. I flashed one and soft bricked my phone but i was able to recover back with the oreo rom through odin. My phone's region is uk but there are so many regions such as btu ee etc i dont know what version is right for my phone. Im a noob so i have no idea what to provide u guys to help me find the firmware.
hi everyone, iam looking for specific firmware, wich my device had before i flashed it.. if its possible please advise me where to get it, on original box from phone it says region is : HR, SL, HU, i cant find it anywhere, please if anyone has it or knows where to get it?
so, this phone (h4213) was flashed multiple times with firmwares from different regions, so when i use EMMA to try and restore original firmware emma only shows last 3-4 flashed firmwared nothing before that .. so I was thinking that was the way to restore it but looks like not.. or maybe heres trick to force emma to show all firmwares ever including first original one maybe?
no replys.. so I guess there's no way for me to restore factory original firmware (rom) to this device huh.. ?
well i guess not.. btw is there any software instead of xperia companion(wich doesnt work on unlocked bootloade) that i can use to reciwve sony updates?
