Im new to HTC phones. But bought a M8 VWZ with Super CID and S-OFF ready. Using it outside the US.
Can you tell me please, what I can do to update the phone as It is stuck on Android 4.4? Can I Install any Firmware? Needs to be some one specifically?

I have HTC One S S3 version with official JB update and I want to change the CID from HTC__621 to HTC__032, so I can then flash one of the official WWE versions of JB. Because I couldn't find any guide for this, can someone explain to me the steps to do it and if I do it, will I get future OTA updates?

we cannot change cid in htc one s s3. htc has kept a write lock.
hi everybody, my quesion is simple. i face a some serious issue on my One Mini (app crashes, no 4G icon ) .. that appears after i've flashed the phone. ..
can i flash the AT&T RUU and after that install OTA from Europe ?
i'm not noob on dev but i prefer ask to be sure about that !!!

I think that the ruu will say that it isn't supported on your devices or image. Why don't you just a rom or another rom?

i have bought as second hand used an htc one mini. I live in Italy, so no Us.
The device report the following info, made by the previous owner:
TAMPERED
RELOCKED
M4_UL PVT S-OFF RL
CID-VODAP102
HBOOT-2.19.0000
RADIO 1.20.40d.00.05
It has TWRP recovery and Android 4.2.2.
I would like to restock it, deleting "tampered" and "relocked"

It's possible when you have s-off, change you CID to correct with this RUU, but I don't know if it's works well. Should be..but not guarantee.
Maybe you could the at&t ruu by changing the cid to the at&t so that you could flash the ruu. I'm not sure if it'll work though.

You will need to see if this works on your device. It cost $25 if it does but will get you what you want.
I recently purchased HTC one M8_WHL UNLOCKED, the phone was rooted with s-off and supercid , but I changed my cidnum to HTC__J15 , but still i m not getting OTA update , when I go to software update it shows me just checking.. all the time plz give me solution.... I m a beginner please help
