I recently purchased HTC one M8_WHL UNLOCKED, the phone was rooted with s-off and supercid , but I changed my cidnum to HTC__J15 , but still i m not getting OTA update , when I go to software update it shows me just checking.. all the time plz give me solution.... I m a beginner please help

Just like the title says, I'm not sure what RUU to use. I have the HTC ONE M7 PN07120 model. It's the unlocked version I bought from the HTC US store. hi all,ive got my m8 dual sim stuck in bootloader ive deleted recovery and os .it only goes on boot loader screen .do i need to load ruu file with hboot?

thx for asking if i got sorted out ,im new to android forums i didn't expect this much help,so after a few days of being stuck posted on xda and android forums .EarlyMon directed me to at thread on xda what worked,ive now got my m8 with maximushd 2.0.0 on BIG THANKS TO xdadevelopers

Cool. Now that you're up and running I'll just make sure you know exactly where your specific device forum is:
HTC One M8
Just make sure that anything you flash to your device is compatible with your dual-SIM version, or you could end up with a broken phone.

I am using a HTC one m8. It is from middle east with a os version of 3.36.401.4 .This os version was not getting ota updates. So i installed Cyanogen Mod without a backup. My phone is not S-off so i cant change the mid and cid numbers to install stock roms made for europe. I am stuck here...Can anyone provude me the os i mentioned above or its backup? please help
