[Completed] Questions about USB debugging. - XDA Assist

Using SP flash tool I noticed that the phone is usually to be switched off. Does USB debugging come into play here? Does USB debugging affect anything anyway when the phone is switched off? Would SP flash tool work if USB debugging was turned off before shutting down the phone?

I think SP FlashTool works without USB Debugging enabled.

you don't boot into usb debuging mode. You enable it from settings>developer Options.
and you need to install adb drivers
So I would just flash CWM while the phone is switched on with debugging enabled in developer settings, sorry for the noobish questions, I have not messed with a Sony before,

well depends on the requirements of the recovery installer. Make sure that usb debugging works earlier.

The instruction given is, Connect you phone in usb debugging mode to pc

then yes, all you have to do is enable usb debugging. I believe you are using RecoverX?

I used CWM for locked bootloader. All sorted now, thanks for your help.

Can someone help me i am trying to root my e3 using mbc07 method but my device doesn't seem to be detected by flashtool even with usb debugging on its say phone connected with usb debugging mode off

You don't need usb debugging when booting into fastboot mode/bootloader.

How to fix the totally dead mtk device

Hello everyone, I am new here and I have problem in my huawei y511-u30 .I can't flash using Sp flash tool because its needed USB debugging enable and i can't open it to enable USB debugging because it was totally dead. Is there any way to flash it w/o debugging enable ? Please help......thank you

The Screen on my phone is broken, and i need to recover some data from Whatsapp, I found this app called Vysor where you can connect your cellphone via usb and then you can see the screen in your computer. The problem is i need to enable USB Debugging, but for that I need use my phone
How can I enable USB debugging other way? maybe from my computer
