That looks like the most current software. It's rumored there is an update floating around but nothing official.

Thanks bud, appreciate the response. For some reason I thought it was supposed to have Sense 5 but I guess not.

We are getting there. Looks like the first quarter of this year apparently.
All regions other than North America has Sense 5, they got it months ago. It is only AT&T, Telus and Rogers to go which is expected in the next few months.

AT&T always lags behind, so much so that some phones never get that last update. The Evita will likely never see the 4.3 update on AT&T.

Looks like the T-Mobile version will be getting 6.0 as an upcoming update!
Nice...although it could still be months! T mobile is so slow in my experience. Here's to hoping.

Normally not this damn bad though... Only thing I can figure is they are rolling current issues and an MM update all into one... All I really want is my damn fingerprint scanner and WiFi to work... Without 6000 build.prop and DNS tweaks... Lol

I agree. It's probably a complete rollup update. Why have to certify and test two separate ones when you can roll out one big one quicker. It would be really ironic if the T-Mobile one gets 6.0 first out of all the US carriers

Well, it only makes sense. I mean, otherwise T-Mobile probably would have released the update that Verizon and AT&T have for the fingerprint scanner fix

I ran all M previews & official Marshmallow on my Nexus 5. It's really not all that different over Lollipop. The only thing I miss is to be able to restrict individual permissions per app (baked in). Sure, I do do this using different methods now via xposed. Doze is nice especially when you tweak it.

Pointless thread ?? Isn't this an information hub? Why post your pointless reply.
And everyone else thanks. I haven't seen any info or hint we are getting 6.0 of course we will be getting it but the question is when. True maybe not that much different than lollipop, but where it does differ, is great. Mainly the app permissions.

Note 5 is supposed to get 6.0 next month. Sprint should release 2 months later
We should see marshmallow summer 2016. They should give everyone the option to beta test not just s6 people that would shut up alot of us waiting suck i rather get a buggy rom and just get updates until its perfect like how Microsoft let people try new stuff before hand like the microsoft preview on pc.
By the time we get it the note 6 will be out.

If you wanted to start a mm thread to discuss rumors on dates and what not i understand. So maybe it was how you phrased it. So mm and are we getting it seems silly. We are the most current flagship from samsung. So like i said of course we are. Im as anxious as anyone for it.

Quarter 1 2016 eta means nothing for the US carriers. The international version will get it first. The US carriers are the last to release theirs.
Its like watching the Norad Santa radar as he makes it around the world, but in REAL slow motion.

Not necessarily true. I think we are better off than AT&T and Verizon. Sometimes Sprint gets an update before the other carriers most times not [emoji1].
Rumor is that Samsung will start rolling it out to the note 5 in February, then you have to wait for the carrier to give it a once over, on top of that, it's mostly Samsung fault. They have what 4 currently flagship phones not including the last gen ones. We have the s6, s6 edge, edge +, and the note 5... and that's just the current flagship, not to mention the other phones they've put out last year. Samsung as a company, is one of the biggest, if not THE biggest smartphone oem.

If you check around it was suppose to be promised to tmobile a few days ago, so, knowing Verizon and the ungodly amount of bloat they shove down our throats and how they disable features because 'they' think they are not useful, i predict into February easy.
I miss the days when these RUUs leaked early. I'm not sure why that stopped.

If memory served me correct it was someone by the name of 'football' who leaked them. Maybe he got fired lolz.
I am considering jumping ship from HTC and getting a nexus 5x, I am just frustrated with 'Verizon Certified' stuff. it is usually a bunch of bloatware and then they go in and disable features. Besides HTC will only support the device for 2 years. I like the idea of the software update coming directly from Google; like Apple does it, zero carrier intervention is the way to go.
Not sure I know anyone with a nexus 5x to ask what they think.
No one knows. HTC promised it by the end of last year, but they only made that deadline for the international version. The US isn't a priority in Taiwan.
You can run Santod's NuSenSeveN if you're S-OFF. That's pretty close to what we'll get, minus bloatware. And it pretty much runs perfectly. I'm currently on Captain's GPE, which was made for Sprint but works just fine on Verizon.
I'm going to Project Fi in June, just as soon as my contract is up. To the day. I'm jumping to a 128GB 6P.

Check Best Buy. I heard they were carrying the 6P. Might have the 5X as well. No guarantees though. YouTube should have some videos. I like Marques Brownlee. His specialty is cameras (pro grade) so when he talks about a phone's camera, he knows what he's talking about. And he's well versed in the other aspects as well. Here's his review of the Nexus 5X.

It was released randomly for the SM-N920C 2 ¹/² weeks ago in Turkey...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=71465602
...so it shouldn't be too much longer for the rest of the world to get it. Depends on when your service provider decides to release it though. I asked T-Mobile when it would be for SM-N920T and they pretty much said that they weren't allowed to say, that it would be sometime in the near future and just to keep an eye out for it. No one knows when it will be released, but literally EVERYONE is waiting for this, so believe me you'll know when it arrives on XDA.
Sprint got 7.0 today
We got N920TUVU4DQC2 today.. guess we have to wait a bit longer for Nougat.

Here's a write up about the Sprint Note 5
http://phandroid.com/2017/04/06/sprint-galaxy-note-5-nougat-update/
Folks rocking the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will want to be on the lookout for an OTA to hit their phone. It’s Nougat!
The update is coming in as version N920PVPU3DQC5, a 1.4GB affair. It’ll be receiving all of Nougat’s new features and those which Samsung are delivering as part of a big upgrade to TouchWiz. It may even make your phone feel brand new, though we aren’t promising anything. Oh, and its security patches are fairly up to speed with a March 1st, 2017 level.
Anyway, for such a massive file size you’ll want to make sure you’re on a WiFi connection and have a decently charged battery (let’s say more than 50% to be on the safe side) before attempting to pull it down. Head to the settings menu on your phone to look for it manually if it hasn’t already hit your notifications tray.

I made this tutorial awhile ago for people with root to still be able to receive the update. Doesn't work if you're currently using a Nougat rom though. Can be done easily however from either stock Marshmallow or a Marshmallow rom that's based on your devices firmware.

I wonder why all the other major US carriers have it out and TMO does not. I hope it is not an indication that the TMO version has bugs.
Could be they wanna make sure it is good for us first. I have heard about the other carriers releasing buggy updates to just get them out...lol we can hope anyway
