Asus TF700 not recognized by windows 10 PC - Asus Transformer TF700

I have a stock TF700 that refuses to be recognized by my PC. I have tried multiple cables to no avail. I also updated all usb drivers for the computer usbs'. Also the pins in the connection look in order. All possible android and asus sync programs have been uninstalled as well. The tablet still charges and recognizes that it is in the keyboard dock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: The 40-pin connector was the problem the device after all. I tested another TF700 on my computer and it connected right away, so as far as I can tell the TF700 has no problems connecting to a Windows 10 PC. If you get a code 43 on a Windows device when trying to connect your TF700 it is most likely a problem with your 40-pin connection on the device.

[Q] 8.6.5.9 update- no usb

After taking the lastest update I get a "usb device not recognized" on my pc. I have tried 5 different pc's. Windows 7 32bit and 64bit, xp, xp pro and vista. The pad charges fine and I have tried a different usb cable and I get the same result. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
are you connecting using the asus connector, or are you connecting through a usb port?
Sorry, I should have specified. I am connecting using the supplied Asus data cable.
With all of the pc's, did you use the asus-supplied drivers? You can also try turning on usb debugging in settings.
Yes all drivers and I have toggled the usb debugging on and off with no luck. All of this started after I did the update. I reloaded the update last night from asus and still the same result. I am beginning to think it is the asus data port, but it charges fine.

i cant even access recovery.
i got my tf today from lab. they replaced my mobo.

so i thought. is it possible that the problem is with my usb cable?
and that i'll have to buy a new one just to confirm it?
1.) What are your computer's specifications? (OS, hardware, etc.)
2.) When the Transformer is booted into Android and you connect the USB cale from the tablet to your computer, does your computer make any sort of indication that a new device has been plugged in? (In Windows, for example, you'll get the new hardware sound.)
Hi! I have any problem tooi cant connect my transformer to PC.

Try different USB slot, Try different cable (if you can get one). Try different PC with the same OS (Win7 64-bit).
Try to reinstall Asus Sync, and USB drivers.
If it won't work after you have tried all of these, then I have no idea.
My TF works for me out of the box.

Windows 7 would recognize the TF as a Media device and there in lies the problem. You would have to force the Asus Drivers to take precedence and that is the problem. I am also told you would need the '.Net' framework installed and configured properly - as I had installed this long ago I am not sure whether this is required or not as on my PC I did not face problems due to lack of '.Net'.
On Windows XP I was required to install Windows Media Player 11 and then do some more modifications etc and then install PC Sync software from Asus.
I now have my Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit working with the TF.
When you connect your Tablet using the Charger cable, does your Tablet say something like 'Searching for PC Sync Software on PC' in the notification area?
Only if it does the TF would even be trying to communicate with the PC - otherwise it would not even be doing that.
I connected my TF to my Windows machine with the sole purpose of rooting the device and I did succeed in doing that.

[Q] Windows 8.1 connection issue

Hello everyone.
I am having issues with my Note being detected by my PC, I have installed Kies 3 and when the Note is connected the connection process starts but fails ( I tried using camera mode instead of MTP and Kies says It must be MTP so something is connecting), Also the device is detected in the device manager of the PC and the Note itself says its connected by USB 3.0.
I have updated, un-installed re-installed, all the drivers and Kies. I have also used a standar USB 2 cable and most of the ports on my PC.
Does anyone know what's going on? could it be a USB 3 issue with Windows?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Gav
I've been having consistent issues connecting with the tablet through adb, on both linux (2 separate installs), and windows 8.1. Sometimes it just will not detect it. It gets detected as mtp storage fine, but adb devices returns nothing. Ill triple check all the relevant settings, make sure the computer has been authorized by the tablet etc. It will literally work just fine, and then 10 minutes later without even disconnecting the cable to using the tablet, it will no longer be detectable by adb.
I'm hoping it's just bugs in the release firmware that haven't been ironed out yet, and will disappear with future upgrades or with the flashing of a custom rom.
I've also had it refuse to charge through my laptops USB ports, even the special "faster charging" port.
It turns out my issue was the unit itself I took it back to JB-HiFi and the staff checked it out and it wouldn't connect to any of their PCs, we tried the Demo unit and it worked fine, So i exchanged it and it works perfectly..
Thanks for your reply though
Cheers

Can't connect via USB

I think I've exhausted my options, hopefully somebody here has an idea.
From day 1, my TF300T has been unable to connect to a PC. At first I thought it was because one of my cats chewed on the USB cable before I could try (it still charged, just no PC connection) so I didn't do anything while it was still under warranty.
Since then, I've tried 3 different cables, multiple PCs and a Macbook, and I can't get anything out of it. It's not detected at all by the computer - no unknown device, no prompt for drivers, no device connected sound when I plug it in. No reaction on the tablet either, whether USB debugging is on or not. I also tried replacing the USB port on the tablet, but got the same thing. I doubt it's a driver issue since I'm not getting anything at all on either end of the connection.
It DOES connect to the dock ok, and all the dock functions seem to work. I've tried connecting the USB cable to both the tablet directly and the dock, and I get nothing from either port.
I'd really like to be able to flash custom ROMs on it, and I can't find a working way to root or flash it without a functioning USB connection. Could it be the third-party USB cables giving me problems, and if so, is there one that actually works? And if not, is this just a lost cause?

GT-N8013 - Connect to Windows 10

When I connect the USB cable to my Dell Precision M4800, I hear the 'device connected' tone, but then it immediately disconnects. It then proceeds to connect and reconnect at random, often very quick, intervals. Windows never attempts to install the drivers, and when I manually install the latest Samsung USB drivers, nothing changes.
Interestingly, the tablet says 'Connected as media device', but it is not showing up as storage in This PC. I think the rapid connect\disconnect cycles cause Windows to not even try to get a compatible driver, but I'm not sure what to do about it.
Has anyone else been able to connect a GT-8013 to Windows 10?
-------
FYI, running Gnabo Rom, KitKat 4.4.
----- EDIT -----
I have a Windows 7 laptop (Dell XPS 15) that works flawlessly with the tablet. Hooks right up with no fuss.
Win 10 no problem.
Sounds more of a cable or usb port problem .
Sent from my GT-N8013 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I agree. The laptop makes the tablet and cable 'known good'.
Try other USB ports on the troublesome PC; try updating the USB drivers (including the hub) and chipset.
