[Completed] Rooting HTC Desire 610 issues - XDA Assist

Hello im trying to root my 610. I used kingroot and it works perfectly but whenever i turn my phone off it seems to unroot itself. Now this isnt that big of a deal because I can just always re root it if my phone turns off but it is anoying to always have to re root when it turns off. Maybe the desire 610 is outdated or not supported with certain features. I dont know alot about rooting phones, i only started doing it because my phone was extremely lagging and whenever i root it and run purify it works 1000x better with no lag and very fast so id love toget this working right. Any help on this annoyance would be greatly appreiated, my android version is 4.4.2. Thanks again!
Edit: My phone is also randomly restarting itself now and unrooting.

[Q] help with metro pcs huawei ascend rooting

Alright im new here to xda forums. Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section.I just got a free a new ascend for metro pcs. I'm happy cause I want to root and take advantage of custom Roms without risking my good mt4g and now I have a pretty Much worthless phone I van abuse >. Here's my problem now. My phone is running 2.2.2 and I've downloaded z4root 1.30 like all the threads say I should do. I have debugging on and all that stuff set to the right settings. Now whenever I try to root, after about 40 seconds the app returns me to my homescreen unrooted and when I try to access it again it says app isn't spawning and it force closes. Then I can't access the app again unless I reboot. When I tap the app icon nothing happens.
Ok I've rebooted my phone countless times and nothing changes. I've tried installing the app and no luck either. (But sometimes instead of going back to homescreen it stays at "running exploit" and beverages changes) I've also tried visionary and that does work either.... I've done factory resets and it doesn't make a difference. Temp root and permanent root both dont work. Someone help please and thnx for trying in advanced.
Bumpity bump bump
bump bump bump bump
lol i got you
i ran into the same frustrating issue. z4 should work but instead it reboots with no effect or loops the su exploit till you reset. two days,100 threads (all pointing to z4) and about 1000 thread pages i finally found the issue and the solution idk why (z4 must be outdated or something but it does NOT work for the ascend M860 running 2.2 froyo) what you need is gingerbreak-v1.20.apk i installed on my ascend and within 10 minutes or so viola it was rooted. note the phone i used was from metro pcs NOT cricket. if your with cricket i have no idea weather or not this will work. but it definitely works on the metro ascend. hope i helped clear up this extreemly frustrating issue.
Lol its funny i just now realised what the issue was. Every thread i saw said z4 for 2.2 os but all the posts were from about 6 months prior to the actual date z.4 is the early and unofficial update to 2.2 froyo jus like gingerbreak goes from 2.2 froyo to 2.3 gingerbread as the phone is discontinued, this is THE unoficial and only update for the M860

[Q] Help! How do I flash a Dual sim GT-N7102 galaxy note

After having a look at some of the specs of my phone I'm under the conclusion that it may be a clone, but either way its for the Chinese market and I have had lots of little problems with the phone, from youtube not working properly, to apps shutting down sometimes, and most frustrating is that Google Play Services is not working, so no Gmail app and most recently I wanted to use PushBullet and I could not.
So far I have succesfully rooted it using some oneclick root and have verified it by downloading a root checker. I am completely new with rooting and flashing phones and using the oneclick, it was the first time I had rooted a phone. I'm not sure where to go next for flashing the ROM. Anyone have any advice or tips on how to proceed? I have tried ODIN but it doesn't seem to recognize the phone at all.

[Q] [HELP] Moto G slower after rooting

I've recently rooted my XT-1032 (telcel) and ever since the phone has been a lot slower than usual. I'm still new to motorola devices. I've rooted other devices before but I can't recall this ever happening. Does anyone have a fix for this? A nice explanation would be awesome. Thanks for everything

Root is just a change in file permissions, it doesn't "do" anything extra that would slow the system down I will recommend you to uninstall any task manager or task killer app ex. clean master or advance task killer, you can also try by denying the root permission to the previously give apps, or even if things not work try to disable superuser....

Just rooting your phone should not slow it down at all. If you've downloaded rooted apps, or flash custom ROMs, and kernels, then obviously those could be suspected culprits for slowing down your device.
Another possibility, maybe a file could have been randomly damaged somehow during the unlock/root process.
Maybe doing the process of flashing a new ROM could fix the issue, manually updating the newest version of Android for the phone, or restoring/converting back to stock firmware, and redo the hole process again of unlocking/rooting your Moto G.

Moto G XT1028 Successful ROOT !!!

I've dug around here for about 20 minutes and don't see any successful root for the Moto G XT-1028 (Android 4.4.4). I found a way to ROOT it! The particular Moto G XT-1028 I had could not be rooted by any method I tried (that included about everything) until a couple days ago I found a version of the Kingroot App and it rooted SUCCESSFULLY! As much as I'm not a fan of Kingroot and similar root apps you can't knock it if it is the only way that works. The Kingroot that worked is version V4.5.0.803. Older versions I had tried did not work. I'll attach it here. This is really a sweet little phone and glad it finally has root. :good:

Is this for 4.4.4?
I checked for Root initially by using ROM Toolbox which will warn you if you don't have root. It will not "Freeze" and App unless it has root so I froze an App and it worked. I'll post some screen captures here in a while showing the exact build and proof of Root.
Yes it is 4.4.4 I have on this phone.
Screen cap of my exact build. Also a screen cap after Kingroot success - the actual 'Success' screen only flashed for a second and then the screen below shows root access. Weird the second screenshot keeps coming up a Zero byte file - doesn't seem to save. Working on that....
More info: This version of Kingroot seems to have it's own root and you cannot install SuperSU (not so far anyway - I haven't tried everything yet). But it does allow root access for sure. However based on what I have found so far if you reboot you may lose root. But it is a very quick and simple process to re-root. Just run the App - wait a few seconds it you have ROOT. It is also similar in how it works like SuperSU in that it asks you to Allow or Deny root access when an App or function requests root access.

I had some trouble getting screen caps as the built in OS (power button + vol down) didn't work but installed this screenshot app that shows a couple from Kingroot screens in attached pics:
Here's one from Galaxy tools ( Yes I know it's not a Galaxy but it still works on the Moto G and it shows the details like it being an XT-1028 and states it has ROOT access right on the same screen.
This has been posted about many times, especially by me. This root is temporary. And it becomes extremely unstable after a while and your phone starts to crash and you're forced to reboot, losing root. Sorry to rain on your parade, but it doesn't exactly work still

I do see that it doesn't hold root if you reboot but I see it as stable about half the time now that I've played with it a bit. Sometimes apps start to crash but upon reboot and re-root sometimes it is totally stable. Apps that I have frozen when rooted stay frozen. I'm also looking at it's sister app 'Purify' which was downloaded from within Kingroot as 'Kingmaster'. It says it can keep root. I'm working on testing that. Can you give me a link to other discussions on this? This is a version of Kingroot that just came out a few days ago. In doing a search I do not get any hits here on this version of Kingroot

Look at my threads and posts in my profile. I tested the new one. It's a root, maybe more stable. But what we all want is perm root which we haven't accomplished yet. I have high hopes future versions of kingroot give full perm stable root
Finally caught this one:
After playing with this a couple days I admit it is sometimes stable and sometimes not. I believe Kingroot tries a lot of different options to root a phone as it gets the methods online during rooting and I believe it does not always use the same method for a particular phone. So sometime it works better than other times and it has even failed to root at all a few times. It was stable for a 12 hour test but some things will quickly destabilize it - like trying to install Busybox. At best you can get root access to fiddle with some things like making a custom boot screen etc. Any reboot will remove root and phone will be stable again but I did notice Kingroot as an app is running and I normally will stop it - no need for it if you aren't running in root mode.
I've been using kingroot as well, even before the .803 release (it was like .7xx i think when it first worked for me, about 1-2 months ago)
For me, it never fails to root. However the root destabilizes after approximately 5-15 minutes every time. Its literally just enough time to run titanium backup, or some other important thing before it starts going to crap and needs a reboot.
Still its a step in the right direction. I absolutely hate the pre-installed VZW bloat: Navigator, sync, NFL.
I'd be satisfied with a locked bootloader if i could just have perm-root. However temp-root is fine for now.
Yeeeeessss this jus made my weekend. Thanks for the update 4.4.4 rooted. Well temp root but better than nothing)))))

constant force closes [huawei y511]!

hi, in the past I had a huawei y511 and because I had this problem I've changed my phone now, but I want to fix it. plz help me.
Previously I could root my phone easily using framaroot 1.8, and I tried to root my phone to do some things then after things got ok, I unrooted it and this was done several times, but the latest time I wanted to root, it didn't allow me and I installed framaroot 1.9 and rooted successfully. but the problem started from here, after a couple of days, constant force closes came and without any they started force closing, clicking ok and the next one was there! sometimes restarting could fix my problem but in some situations restarting the phone was not the solution and I was made to enter recovery mode to full wipe, then everything could get ok again! firstly I thought the problem is from updated gaps, so I tried keeping them outdated to see if it was relating to this, but no nothing changed, although no apps was updated, these errors came again! I even flashed my phone (but I hadn't unlocked it's bootloader) to the stock rom to see if it could fix but NO, even in this rom problem existed and already exists! I googled a lot but couldn't find any working solution so i ask my question here! I do not know that may either unlocking bootloader or just installing a custom rom fix my problem?!?!?! plz help me this is really annoying!
