Dgtec stb - please help!

Dear developers
I recently bought a dgtec dg-hd2104and which features android 2.2
It is a media player (why I bought it) can access the Internet and can can even download apps... But it also features only one fast forward speed, a terribly clunky interface and takes forever to click through menus
It's just screaming out for software development
I tried talking to dgtec support but they aren't really interested in speaking to customers.
Can anyone please help?
Cheers

Agreed
i wish they would up the dam thing ... its a good device but just a bad interface ... let me know if u find any thing of interest

[Q] [HELP] Sixaxis with Galaxy R?

Hey there!
I have recently registered in xda, but I've been looking through these forums for months, and I admire what this community is doing and how it's doing it.
I bought a Samsung Galaxy R a few months ago, and now I'd like to connect my sixaxis controller to the mobile so I can play PSX easier and better.
I've been trying it but the "Sixaxis Compatiblity Checker" on the market gets stuck and doesn't do anything.
Do you know if anything has been developed or how to do it?
(In the description of the compatiblity checker they say that in the last update SGS2 is now capable of connecting with the sixaxis... just look at it).
Thanks in advance
Sorry for refloating, but I can't believe anyone hasn't tried it yet or doesn't know anything about this. At least tell me it's not possible and I'll take that off my mind!
Ty!
Dude seriously...you are talking about some third party application/accessory which is only popular among the special group of users namely the gamers. I personally don't play at all and have never heard of it you wrote. We're kind of SGR/android freaks but only few of us are familiar with such stuff. So I am sorry but I cannot help you.

With the OpenLiveView app you can add notes that you can view on your LiveView. Works quite well.
Also, need I remind you that cheating is very bad and should not be done whatsoever. You should study for your exams like everybody else.
By cheating you're cheating on yourself and you won't learn anything. Ever.
Study hard and then take your exams. It will be so much more satisfactory and you won't have as much stress .
Good luck.

Sony TV KD-55X7000E - installing Android OS?

Hello there,
I just bought a Sony KD-55X7000E TV, and I want to install Android OS in the TV instead of the current OS.
Is this is possible? If yes, how? If no, why?
thank you.

I don't use this TV but, with a limited number of threads for the Sony TV, the following thread is probably your best bet in obtaining any member guidance with this.

Good Luck!

Hey Ibuprofen, thanks for your valued reply.
Unfortunately, the post you provided is for Android Sony TVs, but mine got the other operating system.
So, is there a way to replace my current non-android TV OS with an android one?
Kind Regards,
Anything new about this?
All I can find is the "no because the hardware is different, get a shield or chromecast or something".
But I don't like the idea to have to hang around with another device or remote control. If there would be some sort of internal hardware update (say, another "motherboard" for us being able to replace it that is compatible with Android TV) for our tvs or something, that would be great.
