Sony TV KD-55X7000E - installing Android OS? - General Questions and Answers

Hello there,
I just bought a Sony KD-55X7000E TV, and I want to install Android OS in the TV instead of the current OS.
Is this is possible? If yes, how? If no, why?
thank you.

I don't use this TV but, with a limited number of threads for the Sony TV, the following thread is probably your best bet in obtaining any member guidance with this.

Hey Ibuprofen, thanks for your valued reply.
Unfortunately, the post you provided is for Android Sony TVs, but mine got the other operating system.
So, is there a way to replace my current non-android TV OS with an android one?
Kind Regards,

Anything new about this?
All I can find is the "no because the hardware is different, get a shield or chromecast or something".
But I don't like the idea to have to hang around with another device or remote control. If there would be some sort of internal hardware update (say, another "motherboard" for us being able to replace it that is compatible with Android TV) for our tvs or something, that would be great.

Questions to projector phone

Hi,
since approx. 2 weeks the first mobile phone with projector is out: Epoq EGP-PP01 (http://www.gadgetcraver.com/videoprojectormobilephone-p-198.html).
Does someone know what kind of operating system is installed on this device? I fear it is something embedded of the manufacturer although it looks like the iphone.
Does someone know if this device is programmable by any programming language? Probably it will support Java, but maybe anything else?
Thanks for any information,
Kurt

[Q] Hey guys, help out please Huawei G7300

Hey strangers I recently bougth this new phone, Huawei G 7300, and I was just wondering if it's even possible to put SO Android in this phone.
I already searched but no luck in that.
Can someone help in this?
Does anyone tried this?
Do you guys think this is possible with an older version of android?
hope you or someone can help me
hugs
your answer
Hello um no its not possible your chipset would not even handle the android os i would honestly tell you to sell that and buy another phone as i mean some keypad flip phones have more features than that phone i dont mean to sound rude it was built to look pretty and very subprime internals 312mhz cpu you would need at least 600mhz cpu to run andorid platform and its just not set up to be a smartphone (in andorid)
sorry its not what you want to hear
ps if it helps please hit thanks
I don't mind to ear that. the phone is good for its purpose.
Thank you.
Can anyone help with the usb driver for this phone? i can find it anywhere and windows does not detect it.
Thanks
If you can know how to porting, and compiling from source code, you are able to port 1.5 version of android to your phone, but if you don't know or hard to you don't get started alone.

Flash LG G5 using a Mac?

Hi,
Brand new member here, so happy to learn as I'm a new Android user coming from years with an iphone. I purchased the LG G5 from ebay and wanted to return it to the stock 20i. Unfortunately, we only have Mac computers (without any Windows software) and haven't been able to find any reliable solutions.
I thought the LG Bridge app could help, but it says the phone is up to date.
Any other ideas?
Thanks so much for your help!

There really doesn't seem to be any love either here or anywhere else on the net concerning this type of thing and using a Mac. My suggestion would be to get a copy of something like Parallels or VMware Fusion, install Windows and do it from there. It's likely what I'll be doing, since I'm in the same boat as you are.
If I find anything different, I'll let you know. Good luck.

How to reset HP 6560b laptop BIOS password

Hi,
I recently bought a used HP 6560b laptop. After setting it up I discovered that the radio is turned off so I can't use my SIM card. After troubleshooting, I was told to turn on the switch by the side or use Hot keys. There is no switch (unless it's invisible to my mortal eyes) and there are no hot keys either. After a few google searches I was told I have to turn it on from the BIOS. Problem is that the BIOS is locked and I can't trace the original owner.
Any help on unlocking it or turning on the radio will be highly appreciated.
