I am currently running an LG G2 D800 on Cloudy G2 3.3, and wanted to know if xdabbeb's camera mod (specifically the advanced drivers) would improve the quality of the camera. I flashed cloudy a few weeks ago and noticed that the camera is better than in CM 12.1, but not nearly as good as on a completely stock build of LG's firmware. I read somewhere that cloudy already includes some sort of advanced camera drivers, and wanted to know if it would be safe, or even beneficial, to flash xdabbeb's advanced drivers.

Ok so some background. im on cm7 and i accidentaly deleted the camera in SGS tools. i have been trying to get an .apk camera from sites but it wont let me install them, any ideas. btw i didnt like the camera from cm7 and prefered the one from stock fw on 2.1 thanks any help is appreciated.
You are not going to be able to use the 2.1 stock camera on cm7. No apps based on samsung source can be used on cm7. To get the cm7 camera back just reflash the nightly that you are on. There are camera apps in market that some prefer over cm7 such as camera 360 or vignette. Mui also has a camera that works on cm7. But no samsung based apps.

I recently decided to flash a p990 or a LG Optimus G2 recovery and rom to the p999 or the G2X and it worked, all except the gps, battery indicator, and the radio. I currently have a teamwin recovery and cyanogenmod 11(android 4.4.4 ). As it is currently the rom is extremely smooth, although there is a few UI kinks here and there. If someone could help me out trying to finish porting this rom over to the LG G2X it would be quite helpful and there would finally be a working and smooth rom out there for the LG G2X. Post below if you think you can help out, the most important part of fixing this rom is the radio portion. More details about problems on the rom coming soon.
You can find the link to the original rom here (Developer: TonyP): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769730
Hey all,
I recently flashed over to Imperium ROM. It's extremely stable and light on the battery, which I'm loving.
I did however, briefly, flash another ROM. Baked into this was a TW camera that allowed for 1080p @ 60fps, presumably a port from another Samsung device (I assumed note 3 or s5 but not sure).
I cannot for the life of me remember which rom this was and recently have gone through a bunch of other camera APK files trying to find the right one and unfortunately I cant. What I'm essentially trying to do is find which ROM it was in and build it into the Imperium I'm running just now. I've currently got it on a Note 4 camera, but the front camera doesn't work on it which is a bit of a nightmare. It also doesn't feature 1080p60 which I would like.
Anyone got any ideas? I've searched and can't find anything and rather than flash rom after rom to find out I thought someone may know. The rom is lollipop as was the one I'm referring to with the 1080p60 cam app.
Thanks guys
Pete

I think you're referring to Albe95 S6 Rom 1.5.
It has the S6 camera and 1080p60 recording available

You have to flash the whole rom as of now.
I am sure that's a include of i9506 only... "AuroraROM Note 4 Port" with "Galaxy S6 Camera"
Hi guys,I've installed cm13 on my LG g3,but the camera is not Working like in the original ROM. Can someone help me?
Thanks.
CM13 have other camera than stock, so Your camera will not work like on stock camera. You cant port stock or stock-based camera to cm/aosp/etc. Other functions like laser autofocus will not work too.
Hey guys,
there are some threads about swapping the camera from the G2 into the N5, but there's no solution.
Can't you just extract the camera driver from a g2 Firmware like cm and flash it on the 5 ( same firmware base)? I can't imagine that its so hard to get it working and would like to do it, any suggestions are welcome
