Hi everyone,
a short question. I had a Nexus 5 phone, then I kinda lost it and got an LG G2 (I didn't want to buy something very expensive). However, I don't like the android Im having on my LG G2, so I was wondering if its possible to install the clean android on LG G2, the one that comes with Nexus phones?
Thanks for the responses.

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
If you're willing to unlock the bootloader and root your device, you'll be able to change your current ROM and try different ROMs from here and here.
Check this link if you plan to root:http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772

There are different way to root the LG G3.
Read here about it: How to Root the LG G3 – XDA Developer TV or here: How to root the LG G3.
Usually an offical update from LG will unroot your phone (if your phone was rooted before) ... at least they never come with root.
If you want to get feedbak from users who have already rooted their phones, aks in one of the rooting threads or just in the LG G3 > G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > To root or not to root? thread.
If you have further questions, please ask in the LG G3 > G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.
I was wondering if there is some one who has already done the port of any cyanogenmod version to Hisense Sero 5.
If not, I want try to do it, but I need some help.
I've already noticed that the hardware of Sero 5 is pretty much the same of Moto G 2014 LTE
After some research I've noticed that the bootloader of Sero 5 is not locked.
So if there is someone who can help me doing the port I will appreciate it.

Hello,
This forum is for newbies finding their way around XDA Developers, it isn't a development section.
Also there is no CM for your device yet.

Sorry for the mistake...I'll post in the developer section
I have a lease on a Galaxy J7 from MetroPCS, J700T1 and still owe about $300 over the next few months. I rooted, forgot and shut off OEM Unlock so the phone was binary frp locked. After flashing the stock Rom thanks to I believe his name is Paco, the same one who taught the rooting method for this phone, my software and binary are official but the warrantee is voided.
During the time that my phone was binary frp locked, I went to Best Buy and bought the Moto G4 Plus 16GB Unlocked for $250. It was only tonight that I flashed the stock rom for the J7. My question is whether I should return the Moto G4 or return the J7 and opt out of the lease. I want to know which phone is the one that is better to keep, given the state that the J7 is in, comparing it the Moto G4. Which phone is better to hold onto? I am going to get rid of one. I don't want to use a phone that is rooted for now so I never attempted to root the Moto G4. Please can you give me your answer based on what I did to the J7, the specs and hardware and brands of both phones. I am asking XDA members because I feel I will get the best answer here. Thank you and happy Halloween.
