The label on my original (Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, UK) charger cable says:
Model:EC801
1264-0702.3 13W51
Type:AI-0401

You're right - mine also says "EP880" on the actual charger; I didn't realise there was separate a model number on that as well as on the cable.

Thank for help !
Great

Fusion > Stock
"GBTiger QC 3.0 + Blitzwolf BW-MC1" looks better fusion than a Stock. Because: "Blitzwolf" does has a Ruptureproof cable (even of ">5,000") and "2,4A" and "GBTiger" does has a Better Voltage than a "Samsung Stock 2A"

If another converter is used then it won't be the visible green charger. The whole purpose of having a visible charger is defeated. So I had asked whether we can get a similar one for our SGL also.

[Completed][Q] Xperia Charger Compatiblity

Hi guys,
Was Just wondering if you could enlighten me with this little question. I was wondering if it is just alright to use my old Xperia X8 and Xperia Go chargers and cables on my new Xperia M2 Aqua. I haven't had the chance to compare the specs of the cargers yet, but I suppose they might be similar, but I will check later when I get off work and post them here.
I just want to make sure of this because, when I was still using my Xperia Go, I used to always use the old charger from my Xperia X8, it was charging fine. But this one time I forgot my X8 charger at the office and I was forced to used the one that came with the Xperia Go. Then I noticed how faster it was charing with the charger that it came with compare to the old X8 charger I was using for almost a year.
Anybody any ideas or suggestions? Oh and, btw, the old X8 cable has some rust on the regular USB side, could that be a factor why my Xperia Go was charging slower?
Would appreciate any help. TIA!

Hi,
As a rule, you can just about use any charger or cable on any Android device if the connections are the same. But Charger specs and cable quality and shape will play a factor in charge times. You can get apps and widgets on Play store that monitor the current going to your device if you want to visually see what chargers and cords work best that you own. But generally just seeing how long they take to charge is a good indication.
If you want other opinions or have any future questions on your device, please use this section to ask or help...

Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

USB cable

I want a new USB cable to charge my phone because the original is just too short. Can someone recommend a white cable for me? At least 1 meter long. I live in Hungary so I would buy it from Amazon.co.uk or such because of the shipping rates and delivery time. I read many articles about low quality non certified cables and I don't want to brake my phone... Thanks

BlitzWolf is said to be a trustworthy brand (honestly I do not have any experience with them) and here is a link to a 2m BlitzWolf type C cable: http://www.banggood.com/de/BlitzWolf-2_4A-USB-Type-C-Reversible-Braided-Data-Cable-6_56ft2m-USB-2_0-A-Male-to-USB-3_1-Type-C-p-1015831.html?rmmds=search

this was a huge compilation of USB cables for USB C back when Nexus 5x and 6p was released. I figured this might help new users that are getting into USB C type of devices.

Since it's on Google Docs, I think people update whenever they test, it's been a while since I've looked at it.

What I could add to this list that the Spigen cabels got better and they have a better quality than it used to be. Maybe it worth a try.

The cable arrived and its long enough to reach any distant furniture It looks like it has the same charging capability as the original one. I haven't done any test and not planning to do, but it really looks the same despite of the length of the cable. I also don't care about the data transfer speed because I use the original cable to transfer data from pc.
Hope this help anyone who looks for a longer cable

I bought a cable from Chotech and I am very satisfied with it!
It was this exact cable that I bought.
Supports quickcharge.
If you order an additional charger for the Honor, you can also get it with an included USB cable https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...us-Honor-8-Mate-7-8-Usb-wall/32668184405.html

QI charge ?

Hi,
I search on Internet and I didn't find an answer. Did the Xperia XZ have the wireless charging ? If yes, using QI standard ?
Thanks in advance
No, it doesn't. There are some weird accessories that you can add to it.. but I don't know if you can transform your XZ into a Note 7
