One bug I noticed is that in Extinction Settings if you select to remove S Finder and Quick Connect from the notification panel it doesn't remove it and it also puts them in the lockscreen.

Loving it so far on my at&t variant running good so far can't complain thanks for the awesome work 900a works after getting rid of aroma.. Note camera is awesome

I used philz touch recovery it works better sometimes then twrp.

Same thing here... When i boot the device after flash the ROM i only can see the Samsung logo. TWRP 2.8.6.0 too.

Thanks again for all your work, I flashed this rom on my T-Mobile G900T, all is working nice, the only bug I found is the screen brightness going dark sometimes and during phone call, its the same bug from the sixperience rom. I hope this can be fixed.

use kt twrp. its a lot better than the stock twrp and works.

Anyway I think i'll flash this rom soon but if anyone could post some screenshots would be much appreciated (i know it's Note 4 stock but i'd like to see port N4 UI on s5 if possible ), i hope you dev don't leave those projects as they are but you'll work on them....of course with patience and relax :highfive:

No you won't. In fact, your root is going to be more effective (with SELinux set to Permissive).

How to get out from this msg ?? I installed the kernel then install root .. after that .. this msg appears many times .. i uninstalled smart manager and no thing happened .. so what can i do ?

install and warning me to restart and repair your changes. It is a bit annoying, I returned to the initial boot. waiting for a custom odexed, thanks for your work.

Install a root enabled file explorer and delete every folder containing Knox in its name under /system/apps and /system/pri-app as well as bridge folder and /system/container. That should fix your problem as it did for me.

You can use Package disabler pro (download from Play store). Find security.log.agent and disable it. It work for me.
But this app is not free unfortunately
Or you can use titanium to freeze that, not for sure.

This kernel is ok No reboots or things like this. It's more like a stock kernel with improvments But I can see the difference between Phoneix (overclocked) and a non-overclocked kernel. (This is in first 5 min of using )
EDIT: I don't know what happening but after 5 min the phone begins run very smooth and amlost fast as with Phoneix kernel

I had no problems like this on my device (GT-S7390- single sim variant) I had problems with wifi on 2.3GHz overclocked kernel, but with this my phone works ok ^_^
Try a clean install and see if it's happening again

i test this kernel no bug for me
good for performance without overheating:good:
but i use your 2.3 ghz kernel build for this device
2.3 ghz kernel works for me without any issue and bug
i compare both kernel in through play GTA SAN ANDREAS 2.3 ghz kernel is better
upgrade version is great for users that have issue with other kernel
please release a kernel for video performance that supports hw+ decoder :angel:
or build a se.user.infra overclocked kernel for 4.1.2 stock rom :angel:

Hey man, I work on different devices (gs4, note3) but am a HUGE streaming enthusiast. From the looks of your commits, the jump to 3.5 didn't seem to require too much fixing (compared to service release patches which are always a hassle). Out of curiosity, what made you stop at 3.5? I'm guessing arch-specific stuff as it needs a lot of updating between 3.4 and 3.10. Either way, very impressive project my friend!

yes you can make a copy of any kernel zip like m99 kernel
now extract that zip in m99 folder you can create m99 folder
you find two things boot.img and system folder in m99 folder
open rom.zip using mixplorer on phone or 7z on pc
copy/extract boo.img and system/lib/modules to any folder
now replace the boot.img and modules folder in m99 folder
now zip the ( meta-inf system boot.img ) into archive and done
you make flashble old kernel zip to
go back old kernel flash this zip

FAQ - Freaking Annoying Question
THIS KERNEL WORKING IN STOCK ROM ????
1. NO, this kernel for ROM that based on CM kernel - Android 6 - Marshmallow and up only
2. This kernel not for AOSParadox also .
SYNAPSE NOT WORKING SUDDENLY ????

1. upload file last_kmsg that located in /proc/last_kmsg
2. infomation about what setting that you use : example: intelli plug with zzzmove
3. if only state that youre having reboot without any logs will be ignore.
ERROR DURING OR AFTER FLASHING THE KERNEL
1 . if you comes from others kernel or after flashing the kernel you had this following "error : Fastboot Reason : Fall-through from normal boot mode" or any error during flashing, please dirty flash your rom again to clean up any conflict from different kernel script.. let it reboot.. and flash this kernel..
2. If still happen, flash recommended recovery for this kernel >>> CLICK HERE
KERNEL DID NOT FLASH/THE VERSION STILL THE OLD VERSION
1. Put the kernel ZIP at folder /sdcard and flash it.

OWN CUSTOM SETTING FOR KERNEL DID NOT STICKING AFTER BOOT
1. Make sure you used only 1 kernel tweaks and make sure you did change anything in "advance setting", remove the others apps and start tweaking your own favorite config. (i always suggested to use only Kernel Adiutor for tweaking the kernel)
2. Some ROM had they own boot script that will force the user to stick with it, this happen normally with interactive and cpu-boost config (in this kernel i already disabled completely cpu-boost so no need to worry about this). change interactive to another governors if you did not like what the ROM already did for you. (but i always recommend interactive, as it the most stable governors and updated for current time)
WHAT THE BEST OR RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION FOR THIS KERNEL??
1. Default configuration is always the best for me because i already tweaked and tested by my own and with my tester before release it to the forum.
2. If you did not like default config, just do your own way (google,do research or re-read all post in this thread because there are some advance users posted their own configuration) and i wont answer or provide any advice for this kind of questions because i always stick with my own configuration

Enabled lower frequencies 345, 499, 729, and 844mhz
Undervolt lower clocks ONLY! for better battery without performance loss
Disable CRC for about 30% performance boost
GPU overclocked to 650Mhz
Security and other under the hood improvements

Increased charge current to 1.6A on AC and 1A on USB for faster charging

1.Flash kernel in twrp (based on any kernel2).

So.. any update? I just want to flash and forget it (lol) without changing anything else. Do I also need to set the minimum frequency manually if I flash the squeezer profile?

1. Go to download mode .
2. Flash twrp in Ap .
Notice : uncheck auto reboot .
3. Reboot recovery .
4. Install
- disable_All_pie_security.zip .

lol its not going to turn your device into some gaming beast but it obviously has a performance advantage....new kernel uploaded with overclock and other features.

kernel will work on any non-stock ROM including gsi ROMS...thread updated. I'm not sure about stock ( havent tested) but likely may not work due to certain changes in kernel...if it does work however...mtp function will be lost

Awesome, didn't see the update

The performance of the second version is better, with all the new features. But I've noticed a bug when starting games that stresses the GPU and CPU, its very stable for the few minutes the the game crashes.

I'm sure there's something wrong at your os level or probably you are trying to run high end games on an entry level device and not kernel related as I use it too..played a game with it and I'm always watching the frequency scalings like a police ..plus no such problem confirmed from testers
