Hello respected Sir
i have htc incredible s from two years ago, it was working fine .
now a days it has a battery issue
it is not showing its actual charging i.e after 2 hours of charging,
it shows 55%
but when i put out its battery and again insert in it , it shows 85% ...
how strange ???
moreover i have also changed its android version from 4.0.4 to 5.1.1 using custom rom i.e cynogenmod 12
kindly suggest me a better advice for it ...
i'll be highly thankful to u for this ,
Hello, thank you for using XDA Assist.
Please use THIS SECTION for support, they have a better knowledge about your phone.
Or post the issue in the ROM thread that you're using.
My guess is that the battery isn't calibrated right and you need a battery calibration app to fix this.

i have been using marshmallow last few days and i have found the doze feature to be inconsistent....if i keep it overnight my device does not drop even a single percent some days n sometimes it drops nearly 4 to 5% just like normal battery without the doze feature......shouldn't the doze feature put the apps to sleep with no background usage? i have found it to be very inconsistent
(P.S: i put my mobile data off at night and my brightness all the way down)

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Could I get the make, model, and carrier of your device so I can better direct your question?
Thank you.
hi thanks for the reply....i am using the android one phone Micromax canvas A1 and my carrier is Idea network in India...just so you know i have been experiencing heavy battery drain lately and when i check my battery stats it shows Android OS is keeping my phone awake for more than half the time so it means my phone never enters the doze mode technically...any solution to this?
Do you think its a marshmallow bug?? Thanks for the help in advance

Hi,
So there is this thread:
> Micromax Canvas A1 > Canvas A1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Android marshmellow 6.0 drains micromax canvas android one battery
It suggests downgrading to 5.1 (update listed in the forum somewhere) and then taking the 6.0 via system update.
If you have any questions or problems, please take advantage of that thread as they would have a better idea about the situation than I would.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Maybe this post will help you:
There's a workaround.
When you have charged your phone completely (the phone is cold, when is charging it gets warm) and % value is not 100.
Just turn off the phone, take out the battery for 10 seconds, put it back.
Turn on your phone and you will see the real % of your battery charge.
notes: you don't need to get battery completely charged, when you think your battery value is not right, just take off the battery.

Hi guys,
I have micromax canvas 5 mtk 6735 chipset 3gb ram running android
lollipop 5.1.1. I recently rooted my phone and installed cwm recovery
and xposed framework. After this the phone battery is draining too
fast with heating of phone. Now this is strange as in screen off mode
it is giving amazing backup even better than previous, like 3% in 8 hrs
but when screen is on, battery drains too fast like whole battery
drains in 2 hrs and the battery temp shoots up to 35-40 cel.
What I have already tried to resolve .
1) Freezed all third party apps but same situation.
2)Checked wakelock detector but no wakelocks.
3) Uinstalled xposed
4) booted in safe mode.
But no luck !! is cwm recovery the culprit ? how can I change it to
twrp if I want to?
I have attached screen shots of various observations to help.
