Hi,
I see you found your device section and already asked about this there. Awesome! :good:
XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site, which you've done successfully.... So I will close this thread.
Good luck!
i have been using marshmallow last few days and i have found the doze feature to be inconsistent....if i keep it overnight my device does not drop even a single percent some days n sometimes it drops nearly 4 to 5% just like normal battery without the doze feature......shouldn't the doze feature put the apps to sleep with no background usage? i have found it to be very inconsistent
(P.S: i put my mobile data off at night and my brightness all the way down)

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Could I get the make, model, and carrier of your device so I can better direct your question?
Thank you.
hi thanks for the reply....i am using the android one phone Micromax canvas A1 and my carrier is Idea network in India...just so you know i have been experiencing heavy battery drain lately and when i check my battery stats it shows Android OS is keeping my phone awake for more than half the time so it means my phone never enters the doze mode technically...any solution to this?
Do you think its a marshmallow bug?? Thanks for the help in advance

Hi,
So there is this thread:
> Micromax Canvas A1 > Canvas A1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Android marshmellow 6.0 drains micromax canvas android one battery
It suggests downgrading to 5.1 (update listed in the forum somewhere) and then taking the 6.0 via system update.
If you have any questions or problems, please take advantage of that thread as they would have a better idea about the situation than I would.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
