[Completed] HTC M8 - SD appears to be encrypted, but never did so. - XDA Assist

Info: Stock HTC M8 / Android 6.0 / HTC Sense 7.0
I've been running on a stock M8 for a couple of years now, never really had a reason to tamper with it until recently when my internal storage was maxing out. I boot unlocked and rooted, and now my M8 has factory reset as expected.
I moved everything I wanted to keep onto my SD card prior to the rooting process. I've never once encrypted my device as I didn't like the performance hit on my last one, and I found the pattern unlock function more than sufficient for my needs. That said it appears somehow my SD card has become encrypted anyway, and I have no answer as to how or why. I've never (to the best of my knowledge) installed a third party app that provides encryption functionality, and certainly never authorised anything to encrypt the entire card.
Is there some feature of Android that I'm missing with regards to external storage that would have caused this?

[Completed] SD card not mounting in android.

I have a Blue studio 5.5s and after flashing a font it would not boot, I couldn't get a stock rom so I used a My Phone Ocean Pro custom rom that worked. However for some reason the SD CARD will not mount I see it and access it in CWM and flash the phone but android does not see it.
It seems like the whole file system is restricted I tried root explorer an tried to mount it and I receive the message "Sd card is not currently mounted" and in settings for the system the sd card area is not accessible just white. I know the card is good cause CWM sees it and I flash from it but for some reason android is not seeing it nor mounting. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device on this issue. Just because a rom for another device flashed successfully, doesn't mean you won't face issue.... Which may be your problem. You may need a rom specifically made for your device, or the stock firmware.

[Completed] Moving folders to external SD card on rooted Droid Razr Maxx HD and Samsung SM-T700

I've got an overkill of root utilities, ( all in paid versions) including ESFileExplorer, ESTaskManager, ROMToolboxPro, RootExplorer, and TitaniumBackup --all with root permission granted by SuperSu, yet nowhere can I find where or how to copy folders and files to my external SD card. The purpose is to find and try to remove unnecessary bloatware, while having a backup handy in case something goes awry. Especially on the Samsung since it only as 16 GB primary storage, and a 32 GB SD card standing by.
I've also got TWRP, but just don't understand how to use it, or even what a custom recovery means. Any suggestions where I should look to educate myself on these aspects?
(I did get as far as successfully rooting both devices, but am stuck as to how to fully utilize root priviliges beyond being able to see all the hidden root files. )
Thanks in advance from a newbie!

[Completed] Encrypt SD CARD, without fear to lose data forever if phone dies.

Hi,
As you know android security is not so strong, lock screen can be easy bypassed if you lose your phone, and I want to encrypt all my phone data, including sd card data but I don't want to lose all sd data if my phone die.
So, I want to know if there is an app or a method to encrypt sd card data, with the possibility to decypt sd on a computer if i know encryption method, and the key encryption was done.
So i don't want to encrypt sd card with encryption method of android, because i want to give myseft encryption key.
I'm not so new in android devices, but sorry if this is a noob question, and sorry for any mistake in speech, i.m not a native English speaker.
Tnx!

[Completed] How to remount internal sd card storage

No support from zeki. They said sorry can't help. And past any warranty to return.
Zeki tablet TBQG884B kitkat 4.4.2
I tried a swap ram thing to try increase memory size/speed.
dev_mount sd card change
I didn't quite know what I was doing. Didn't make a backup, etc.
I rooted tablet with kingoroot it's still on it. So is superuser but it asks to download binary files again, but can't because no sd card mounted. Internal or external.
It won't connect to computer usb debuging or mass storage at all.
I can no longer get into system files file explorer etc., to try to reverse/fix what I did.
It said nand flash something instead of sd in video. I now know I shouldn't of edited it.
Is there any way I fix it. Maybe put a different OS on it? If that would fix it? Maybe something from google/android and kitkat?
It works as far as going online with brower. But not much more. won't mount either sd.
I looked everywhere and trying everything. Please help. Thanks.
It said in video to go into sysytem files and change ...
