Hi, i have LG G Flex 2 H955.. Software version is 15c EUR, i have issue with playing Asphalt 8 or Need For Speed No Limits, games run really laggy and they are unplayable. I searched over the Internet i saw some gaming videos where those games worked perfectly, do you have some suggestions for me how to improve my gaming experience?
Hey,
just go into your power settings and disable game optimizer (it limits the cpu/gpu to save power).^^

You can also use probainas custom thermal settings if rooted
I got the same issue with my LG G FLEX 2 (H955). Done as adviced still nothing. Game runs just fine for 5-10s of race adn starts lagging after. I even got thermal config file from other thread (probaina) to increase throttle temps, it doesnt work for my device i guess.
^ deactivate Adjust screen tone , and u will not have any problem then , no more lag in NFS and other games.

My main purpose to buy the butterfly is to gaming on this full hd beast, but ended up dissapointed.
1st game I try- temple run oz- playable but full of spike lag.
2nd game I try- frontline commando d day- playable and full of spike lag too.
3rd game I try- gun bros 2- totally unplayable, loading super slow, ingame performance smooth while running around, but when happen explosion or too much enemies, game will freeze for 2-3 sec.
SnapdragonS4, 2gb ram, adreno320 should be very impressive SPEC. But gaming sucks a lot on the butterfly. Others scrolling performance is smooth.

Strange, my son plays these games also (i am too old for that **** ) but i didn\t hear him complain. Should be as smooth as butter(fly)
Are you from some other manufacturers go into this topic to put the Butterfly down (like SS fan did)? He he, just for kidding. I play some heavy 3D games such as PS3 simulation, N4SP... and everything perfect. Butterfly is so smooth, fast.

PS1 emulator is fine for me. But I just dont know why Temple Run and Gun Bros 2 lagging like hell. the graphic not really high enough. is it because i using stock rom?
If i look the results of Antutu benchmark an performance increasement of 20 procent is possible by flashing a custom ROM
Think there may be something wrong with your model. The HTC Butterfly has the Snapdragon S4 Pro (was the best in the world a few months ago) so it should be perfectly fine with games like those since they aren't particularly high on the graphics part
Temple Run 2- running smoothly, no lag
Gun Bros 2- no freezing / no lag
Real Racing 3- (which i believe is one of the most graphic intensive games)- running smoothly.
For Temple Run & Gun Bros, I am playing on Power Save On. Real Racing I haven't tried yet, but generally I switch off Power Save mode.
Try restoring to Factory Settings and play again. S4 Pro is a very good processor and Adreno 320 is the latest thing.

your model? mine is X920D. running stock rom. Is it i must flash custom rom to play those game smoothly?
X920D.. Stock ROM.. Not even rooted till now..
Rooting and flashing a custom ROM might increase performance, however it shouldn't be a must since the phone is really fast. I also think maybe something wrong with your phone. I have seen scores with antutu approx 22000 so i cannot imagine not be able to play the latest games......
There must be some problem with your unit. I managed to play those games on my Butterfly when I got it. Temple Run 2 did have some freeze ups but I didn't blame it on the phone but the game since heck I can play modern combat 4 and dead trigger very smoothly. Is it also possible that you have multiple apps running in the background like skype, viber, whatsapp, and others (if you see a lot of icons in your status bar's top left side)?
im thinking of buying this or note 4 i have an s5 right now. does rooting debloat and fixing the thermal settings fix the lag and overheating?or is there anything else that will. im a heavy user play switch in between games alot and depend on a decent battery life and dont like lag.
Basically same question here, except i already bought it.
By the way, i got it rooted.
I just got my Flex 2 and after debloating and tuning the thermal configuration I'm really enjoying it! Performs great.

Debloat and thermal settings has turned my phone into a powerhouse. On an average day, I see no more battery drain on the Flex 2 than I did on the original Flex (with a bigger battery and a smaller number of cores). However, if you're heavily into gaming, the GPU will certainly be enough, but for 3D intensive games the battery drains rather quickly (as expected, really).
I have compiled a list of everything I've removed for debloating here.
So no issues with overheating? I switch between games like madden , clash of clans, boom beach, magic rampage, and outwitters constantly so I was worried about the heating issue for a heavy user such as myself

The thermal throttling settings are still enabled, just set to a higher temperature. I have mine set to 65°C (as per the thermal throttling thread), and I know processors can get much hotter than that without failing (Apparently the HTC flagship cores get up to 80°C, don't while me on this, it's just a passive memory).
Is anyone having choppy gameplay on the OnePlus 6 while playing Pubg?
I have kept the settings on default, HD and high frame rate
What graphic setting are you guys using ?
I use an iPhone X for my job and Pubg is smoother on it even at higher setting
If any one has any suggestions to improve performance I would really appreciate it
Performance is best on OP6 but there's some heating.

I did , I think it all does is disable network connections for other apps while playing
Going smooth here.. Mid graphics +max frame rate..
On hdr+max fps - it's just as good but, I wanted to conserve some battery..
Some website did a review, it's hitting 30fps 99% of the time
Waiting for update with 60fps support .. Don't know about iPhone
Edit - review is from xda ?
Pubg runs perfect on HDR+Ultra fps, although I prefer playing at smooth graphics+extreme fps (60fps). Buttery smooth gameplay, although for every 30 minute game played, the phone loses 15% battery
Just tried the game after reading this thread. Goodness this game runs smooth on highest settings possible. played a few matches this morning. Not one hiccup.
Previous experience with note 8, Nexus 6p, essential phone and mate 9. Better than all. We
Yeah just tried it for the first time too. Runs great, came in top 3 with around 10 kills first try, think I might retire and leave my PUBG career on a high
I haven't had any issues and I put mine on Max at full screen mode. Plays really well.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
Just did an hour of pubg and HD and highest frame rate, lost around 35% of battery

Ping on op6
Hi,
I have played ping on op6 over 10-15 30 min sections.. under different conditions like HD, ultra fps to smooth with ultra fps.. no performance issues... Heating is nominal just like any other phone.. not significantly alarming or something....
Only once I got choppy frame rate and that too for a couple of seconds.
Everything else is fine..
Btw I use 8gb ram model.

Hello there,
My N9860 was a beast when it comes gaming.. recently, I noticed it drops frames more frequent for instance, pubg used to run on extreme graphics at steady 60 fps .. now it fluctuates alot reaching down to 56 fps... Asphalt 9 does the same, may be even worse with dropped frames up to 52 fps! I made a hard reset but it is the same! I am not sure if that happened after the latest update ending with ATI3. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Are you using the gamelauncher function of Samsung to play the games? As it has the options to keep everything maxed out. Only other thing is if you have things running in background that could be taking up gaming resources.

why you thing that is has to "max out everything". first of all it must prevent from overheating disable all these games servises and you will that ot will become much more smoother. ( on exynos especialy)
Hi guys. As the title says.
I got fps drops when playing gaming. Is this normal on lg v50 korean variant? Can lg v50 play games on high graphics?
I already did a hard reset on my phone
I still have fps drops even on low-medium nba 2k20
Or genshin impact low settings.
Can someone please advice me what to do? Thank you
